This is my almost daily Starbucks by Dell. The people are what make this one of my favorites in town. I have been coming here for almost 4 years and the morning crew is wonderful! This location does get a little busy with Dell folks between 730a and 9a, but the baristas are very efficient and even when the lines are long, it moves very quickly. I go to this Starbucks every morning and not only is the drive thru fast and on point but the staff is amazing! They know me when I order my drink and offer recommendations when my drink is unavailable which has only happened during the ice storm last year. There is another Starbucks directly across the street from my work but because of the staff at this location I refuse to go to any other location! If you want amazing coffee and just want to start your day off right, go to this location you wont be disappointed!! read more

I love Starbucks, and have been to many of their locations around Austin and Round Rock. This particular store is the one nearest to my house, but it's also the ONE Starbucks that I no longer go to, because in the past year or so, there have just been too many times when they've messed up my order or given me bad customer service. I do like some of the staff here, and to be fair, I've had plenty of good experiences. But I've also had more bad experiences here than at any other Starbucks. Funnily enough, my sister, who lives in the same area, recently told me that she has also stopped going to this Starbucks, for the same reason. Specifically, it turns out we've both had multiple bad customer service experiences with one particular barista (a youngish guy with a slight beard), who is often vaguely sarcastic and who, on separate occasions, has made fun of both my car and my sister's car when we were at the drive-thru window. Never had a problem when I would go to their old location next to HEB. I have been to this new location maybe twice and well this time went to the drive thru this morning and it'll be my last. I can understand being maybe a little frustrated with a morning rush and being swamped but I at least would hope my drink would be worth the almost $5 I paid for a chai tea latte. What I got was not acceptable. It tasted like an incredibly watered down chai tea with a slight hint of chai. So yeah..$5 for pretty much hot water. Will just have to take note to go to a different one for now that will be more consistent to the others. read more

At first I was skeptical about this new location. The previous location was literally right next door to HEB. On Sundays I would get breakfast and coffee and then proceed to deal with the craziness at HEB. Since the location moved to its own freestanding (ish) building that has not stopped me at all. I drive an extra few feet and still do the same thing. The new location is very nice and has a drive thru. The parking lot out front is a little tight and there aren't very many spaces but there are spaces on the side and behind the building. So far the service has been good and I haven't had any negative experiences. I'll continue my Sunday ritual of Starbucks and grocery shopping (such an exciting life here!). read more

The customer service here leaves a LOT to be desired. The location has shifted over (they used to be just next door to the HEB) and they put in a drive-thru, but it is still one of the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. I work in the Arboretum and go to the Starbucks on Great Hills almost daily. The Arboretum location is always packed, but never takes nearly as long as this location. Before I moved to Round Rock, I used to visit the Mopac and Parmer location daily as well. Again, they were always packed but managed to push the orders out quickly and wear a smile while doing it. The reason people get so annoyed with this location is because everyone has been to a Starbucks before. So it's not like people are comparing the service here to the service at a completely different coffee chain. They're comparing Starbucks to Starbucks, and this location has fallen short since I moved out here 3 years ago. Tip: Never go to the Louis Henna Starbucks when you have to be to work, unless you want to be late. Going inside will not make for a faster trip. There will be rare occasions when you're in and out in less than 5 minutes, but don't count on it. Set aside at least 20 minutes to pick up your iced coffee with room for milk. If I want a weekend coffee in Round Rock, I go to Dazzle Coffee on Gattis. Prices are in the same range, and if you're a frequent buyer you can get a stamp card for buy 10 get 1 free (Starbucks does the 12 stars get 1 free program). At Dazzle, the people actually seem happy that you're there. A much better way to kick off your weekend. read more

Just like the other reviews from fellow Yelpers, this is one of the SLOWEST Starbucks you will find. I've been here maybe 5 times and all 5 times it's slow. Twice I have been the only one in the drive thru, and I see there are no cars parked in the parking lot. Unless there are 20 people who walked into the store, my order should have been fast. It was still over 10 mins to get a drink. I've been in the drive thru once where it took 20 mins!!! And the worst part is that the drive thru is a single lane which you cannot escape if you wanted to. (Unless you have a Truck or SUV and you can mount the curb.) Not sure why this location can't be as fast (or as normal speed) as other locations. read more

Horrible service at this location. I spilled my coffee bc it was filled too high and the staff could have cared less and didn't offer another coffee. I had to go to the counter and ask for a refund ...on a simple dark roast coffee. I was shocked that they didn't offer better service. I won't be back. read more

What can I say? It's a Starbucks, and you either love or hate the place. My mother was in the area, visiting from MA, and she practically lives off of Starbucks, so we dropped in several times in 3 days. I'm not ashamed to say I used to as well. If I didn't move onto the other side of the 35, I'd probably still be here every day. Staff here has always been friendly. Even when the store is packed to the gills, the line has never been long - they work fast, and still are able to crank out consistent drinks every time. And when the pumpkin bread is around? I normally go through the drive thru at this location and pick up my mobile orders however it's my wife's birthday and we had to go inside. As my wife was ordering her free birthday drink using the mobile app to pay $0.00 for her drink not once did the cashier or manger working say happy birthday or seem liked they even wanted to clock into work today. On the flip side of things the guy who made my custom drink was super friendly and I'd nominate him to become the manager or assistant manager of this location. Blah blah blah That's all read more

Have given local Round Rock Starbucks at 620 and I35 an average of $100/month business over the past 3 years. Ends today. Received a sarcastic comment from a barista who did not like my asking for a disposable tray to carry out 2 drinks with food each time I came in. He was of the opinion that I should bring in the tray and reuse it each day. May be the best thing to do, but I am not going to carry around in my car a tray so Starbucks' employees save themselves the time and effort of getting one for me to use. I placed a mobile order at 8pm while sitting in the store, and didn't receive it until 17 mins later. The workers more interested in cleaning up. I even asked in between and the young lady said someone will start making it. Ten minutes went by before anyone lifted a finger. The worse Starbucks by far in Round Rock. read more

Starbucks - White stuff in my drink!!? What is that? - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Round Rock, Texas

For a place to calls themselves a coffeeshop, they only have Pikes Place brewed up at 11:20am on a Sunday. So disappointing. I've been to this same location after 12pm, and have been told that they only have their Blonde Roast brewed up before noon, but that's clearly not the case. This is more of a frap house than a coffeehouse in my opinion. I'm sure you'll dig it if you're into mochas, fraps, or lattes. read more

This is the WORST starbucks experience I've ever had! I had to wait at least 20 minutes for my drink when the location wasn't even busy. This starbucks is very rude to you. I walked in to a not so busy store and I asked about the reusable cups as I wanted to get some more I loved them from another store. They girl behind the counter said just a moment like I had asked her for a kidney and then after she saw me looking she very rudly said all of our cups are reusable . Uh Duh not dumb here looking for one in paticular. So She found them behind a coffee grounds display under a table . I asked her are these seasonal cups and she said I do not know and walked off. After that I was done it could have been the golden ticket and I still would have just walked out so rude this place. She gave me the stink eye all they way out. rude rude rude in a place that is a service industry the key is you work for me the customer I pay your bills please be nice to me or I will take my money elsewere. read more

Visited Saturday morning 9/26 and drive thru line was so long I went inside. After waiting 20 minutes the 3 people in front of me were still waiting on their orders. I was going to be late for an appointment so had to cancel my order. This is the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. If you are in a hurry this is not the place to stop. read more

I've been sitting in this drive thru for over 25 minutes with only 5 cars in line. I was in line for 13 minutes before even ordering anything. This place used to be great. Unfortunately it has changed, our last experience was not a good one. I brought my family to get some coffee after a long day. The staff was borderline rude and treated us like the coffee was free. We asked for some warm milk (about 4 ounces) for one of our coffees and were charged $3.50. We were definitely not welcomed. I look forward to friendlier staff, less issues with orders, and a reasonable wait!** I go out of my way to avoid this location,and here is why. The drinks are rarely ever on par with other Starbucks locations. I will drive 10 extra miles to get a good coffee if it means avoiding this location. This is the closest to my house, and thought I would give it another shot. This location typically takes longer... but I sat in my car for 10 minutes, with no movement. None! I waited 20 minutes total for my drinks. No apologies either! When I went to order my go to beverage (grande iced skinny vanilla latte double blended), the girl taking the order said to hold... to have someone else come on the intercom to verify my order, and tell me they couldn't do it. Customer service has has always seemed to be a value to Starbucks. By far this is not the most difficult Starbucks drink! It can't be! I was told no!!!! What?? I informed them that the other locations I visit never have a problem with it, and even the TXState kids that work on campus gave it a try and succeeded! Succeed this location did not. I got up to the window, where a perplexed cashier acted like it was a big deal, and had to put it in a venti cup. What?!? I have always had it in a grande cup. The service use to be great but the last time I went I had a really bad experience. The service was awful, I ask the barista "James" for cream and he made me wait like 10 min, mi wife ask him again and he got mad making faces. The staff is amazing. They take the time to get to know you and memorize your order. Always greeted with a smile. It's in a convenient location. The drive thru at times can get really busy, but it does move fast!! Which is amazing if your running late in the mornings. read more

I am extremely DISAPPOINTED! this was my first time at this location I will NOT be returning. I work at Dell across the street and wanted my lemonade sparkling fix this morning. I arrived at 740 went inside since the line was extremely long. Waited over 11 minutes! 11 for 2 lemonades!!!! The girl called my name walked over I noticed they were extremely clear for a lemonade sparkling-the hutto starbucks makes them for me and they rock and they are NEVER CLEAR! I tried each of them they tasted like water....had to go back to the counter and tell the young girl that they tasted like crap....she didn't know how to refund my money....I'm assuming a manager on duty walked by didn't apologize or anything just shrugged....um really....they are me concerned with the drive thru then the inside......WORST STARBUCKS EVER! read more

I would give it a four because I specifically really like a couple of the baristas here whenever I can have them make my drinks (guy with mustache and glasses and rides a sweet bicycle and friendly girl with dark hair) and the service is generally pretty good. But just about everything else is a three. Some of the baristas seem totally put out that they have to be there but, I guess I can't blame em. But, It's just down the street from my place. Which is cool for a quick froufrou coffee fix. However, they're pretty inconsistent with the Amount of flavoring they put in for example, white mocha, reg. mocha, seasonal drinks, etc. and I feel that's a little unacceptable considering how much I'm paying for the damned things. It also tastes like the crew here doesn't take the best care of their machines. It was the same before they moved to their new location too... Espresso often tasting like well, it's coming to me from a dirty machine. Huh. Go figure. However, on a brighter note, 80% of the staff is friendly, they're always fully stocked on pastries, and. Well, I guess that's it. It seems like none of the baristas actually come out from behind the counter to clean up the place, and the bathroom is often out of paper towels and toilet tissue. It's not the best Starbucks experience but it's not the worst. read more

I literally just waited 14 minutes for a tall iced chai tea latte. Stop worrying about the drive thru so much and pay attention to your customers inside. No apology for the wait. No offer to up size.
