I echo the same sentiment as others who experienced poor customer service here. I am an avid nespresso user of 4 years, and stopped in to restock on pods. I checked in at the front, and went browsing for pods to purchase. I went up to a podium that had a menu of pods, (unbeknownst to me, this was also the check out area). A male employee said "you need to move so I can help someone", extended his hands and ripped the menu from me. I was beside myself and completely caught off guard. It was so bad, the employee working next to him immediately asked how she could help me today. She checked me out, and apologized for her coworker's behavior; "I am so sorry the way he dismissed you, he should not have done that, I'll talk to him about it." Mind you, not once did I mention her coworker's rude behavior, it was just THAT noticeable. He caused a scene for no reason. As I was checking out, I had a moral dilemma giving my money to a company whose employee did not show me an ounce of dignity. It felt inhumane. I am thankful for the nice woman who tried to rectify the situation. read more

We were walking by when we saw the mural through the window. Upon entering, we were greeted by the staff; we explained we saw the mural. They offered that samples were behind us--but as non-coffee drinkers, they failed to pique our interest. Instead, we opted to take a photo of the mural. Austin, it reads, in all caps. Interestingly, the staff seemed to do their best to not be in the photo. The place hosting the mural appears to be a Nespresso Boutique. Perhaps it's a place where they showcase and you can purchase their (possibly automated?) expresso and coffee machines. Maybe it's like a gourmet Keurig cup machine. I've never used one. Does Nespresso roast beans, grind them, and make your desired coffee beverage automatically? It'd be pretty neat if it did. But apparently their machines don't do that. But that's ok, because what you should really come here for is the mural that is plastered on their wall by the entrance. You can't miss it. That's how they get you in. read more

THE BIG: Located in the Domain, right near the Macy's. This location is much bigger, bright and airy with tons of coffee. The parking garages are a plenty here. THE BLACK AND WHITE: So glad this store is back and in a bigger location. As you walk in, you see a giant Austin tile mural and Nespresso pods all the way to the back. To the right of the store, you can try the nespresos machines with the samplings of seasonal flavors. They have dual paned mugs. The rest of the store has a few more displays of the machines and pods along with friendly sales staff to answer any questions. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall a great experience here at the Nepresso Boutique. Alongside the sampling of coffees inside, there's no pressure to buy sleeves which is great however if you are inclined to buy, you have tons of options! read more

I've been going to the boutique for a couple of months now that I bought my Nespresso machine. Personally I enjoy the quaint cafe style as well as being able to enjoy some of their new products while brewing your own coffee. Best of all it's free! Atmosphere: A large boutique but almost like a cafe since they have a little area you can pick your own coffee and serve yourself. Workers will assist you with any machine should you need help. Overall pretty great store for both newcomers and owners alike. If you have any interest in Nespresso machines or coffee, they got what you need. read more

Some of the employees are super nice and friendly, but others definitely judge you if you aren't dressed fancy, as others have mentioned. People that checked in before and after me were both invited to a sample of coffee, but I was not (that didn't stop me from getting one, but that's not the point). They have also stopped including the free sample pod when I buy pods there. I do not see any reason to come back when I can order online, get the free sample, and have it delivered. If they want to cater to people buying machines, then maybe they shouldn't also sell sleeves and treat the pod buyers differently than the machine buyers. I am a frequent Nespresso customer having multiple machines and buying coffee regularly. Went into this store today, greeted by a woman who asked what we wanted today and we were just browsing so we said nothing specific we are just browsing. Eventually decided we wanted to buy a set of origin mugs. Waiting at a register for a while no one came. Then went to line up begins a couple at the other register, when it's our turn they tell us we have to go check in with the woman at the front.... This all took about 15 min and it was so confusing because we had told the check in woman we were browsing....so we gave up and didn't end up buying the cups. Terrible and disappointing service. Makes me question if I'll replace my Nespresso next time it craps out. read more

Supposedly the very first "experiential" Nespresso boutique in the country, they've just reopened a few paces down the street, now next to Victoria's Secret. The space is beautifully appointed, with all their colorful pods and machines on display. You can have a hands-on experience with the Vertuo brewers and get a taste of a select number of the latest espressos. I had a genuinely lovely time sitting at the bar, chatting with the highly knowledgeable staff. In fact, it came up that they pride themselves on having a "no pressure" sales environment, and true to form... I actually forgot to buy pods!! I came in with the express purpose of stocking up, and was so carried away in the moment, I left entirely empty handed. Well, I'm coming back ASAP to fix that! read more

Nespresso is definitely a cult following. You see all the commercials and you're intrigued, but not enough to get one. Then your brother gets one. Then your sister. Then your hood friend. Suddenly everywhere you go, someone is taking about how amazing the coffee is. Then one day, you're innocently visiting your brother and sister-in-law, when your SIL sets a perfectly frothy steaming hot mug of coffee in front of you. You inhale the intoxicating aroma and take a sip and it's over. And just like that, you're in the cult....club, with a machine and frother of your very own. The coffee sampler goes way too quickly. Ordering online is convenient and easy, but there something about going to a coffee boutique. Talk about bourgie. After about a year of ordering online, I finally walk in not knowing what to expect. I'm greeted by a very kind woman (I failed to get her name) and tell her I have no idea what I'm doing. So she asks if I know what I want. I name of a few. She tells me they have the coconut and Ethiopian blend in stock. Yaaassss!!! Iced Coconut hits right in this Texas heat. I stock up and walk away all bourgie with my completely full Nespresso bag. Terrible. When I swipe my card for $50 for a month supply of pods, the least I expect is decent customer service. As soon as I walked in I spoke to an employee about the pods I wanted and mentioned that my prior delivery wasn't ordered. She didn't try to solve the problem or put me in touch with someone who could. She groaned, rolled her eyes, and did not try in the very least to be nice. Same thing later... my card chip didn't work the first time around and I received a dirty look immediately. I don't know if it's the employees they hire or the way they treat them that leads to them being disgruntled, but it's a problem. Their brand is tainted now in my eyes and I feel way less inclined to ever go back in-person again. Not to mention the whole queuing system in there is broken. People - and that is after finishing the coffee sample - are waiting 20+ minutes just to check out. It's a small, crowded store and there are tons of employees everywhere. Even at the newer designed location the employees still act like it's the Gucci store. If you don't appear wealthy enough they will not say a word to you. Just order your pods online it's less frustrating. After being treated like I had no business being there and not being allowed to browse the coffee menu I left and will never return. I own two Nespresso machines and though I've had a good experience at the Nespresso boutique at their previous location it seems the staff at this new location is not as kind. read more

He is very nice, pleasant, polite, knowledgeable, attentive to the needs of his customer, and makes the customer's visit to this store a wonderful experience. Great atmosphere and service! Self serve coffee pods were available and there was ample staff. The in-store line for checkout and service was online in a queue-like fashion; checkout was about a 10 minute wait, but this was pretty impressive since I went during their lunchtime rush-hour, on a weekend. I left the Nespresso Boutique feeling uneasy. I was so excited to enter the location because I just got in my brand new Nespresso machine and wanted to refill my pods. I was not offered any samples and I also let the sales associate know I had never purchased from the boutique before and needed help. My sales associate was semi-helpful and I still felt rushed and did not feel like I was a valued customer. I will be ordering my Nespresso pods online from now on, even though the stores only a few miles from my house. read more

We got a Nespresso Vertuo machine after my trusted Koerig machine broke after nearly 10 years. We tried the sample pods that came with the machine, overall were pleased with the results. We knew it was going to be more expensive than the other system, but that's okay, our morning coffee is always done with a French press and great coffee that I grind everyday. So, the Nespresso is for the quick extra coffee during the day, or when we have someone over. I bought 3 standard packs on Amazon, but my wife wanted to see what other variety of pods they had, so we went to the Nespresso Store at the domain. There, we were assigned a sales lady that was frankly terrible. After my wife bought 2 more packs of specialty coffee for $25, I asked what the "club" was and she wouldnt give me any details. She said "oh you'll get some promotions". I asked "what kind of promotions". She barely gave me any details. She didnt tell me it would give me quick parking in front of the store. She didnt offer to sign me up until I demanded that we became club members. And she didnt register my purchase, and didnt give me the special samples you are supposed to get as a club member. I do not understand how Nespresso doesnt train their employees better. Or perhaps she was trained and is just a bad employee. Then someone should do their Manager's job and tell her to improve or show her the door. So far, I'm happy with the machine, not so much with the store... read more

This boutique does not have a telephone number listed. You have to call the 1-800 number to get any assistance. I called the 1-800 number three times today. Asking for the local phone number, calling back to tell them the local number they gave me was wrong, and again to ask about inventory at this location. I drove across town only to find out that the boutique was closed today. Google maps shows it's supposed to be open, Yelp says it's supposed to be open, and the person on the phone did not mention they were closed today. The experience with nespresso from the get-go has been terrible and has me considering returning my machine completely for a real espresso machine. I do not recommend this brand. read more

Clean and quiet. I go here for pickup orders when I can't wait for the long shipping. We've had a couple issues but I feel like it was more corporate issues rather than personnel at this location- also they went above and beyond with a mistake out of their control- before I even knew!- and popped in some sleeves of espresso which was such a treat and quite unexpected. I haven't had the negative experiences other reviewers have posted which is why I'm finally posting a review myself- we personally haven't had an issue with the store itself and the people I've personally encountered were friendly. read more

I am not really sure why the negative reviews. Those customers must've had a very different experience than I did. When we walked in, we were welcomed by two employees and offered numerous coffee samples, and our sales person wound up spending significant time with us talking through all of the different capsule and flavor options. Went in there to exchange a few sleeves and they couldn't which I get is their policy, however Bruce one of the employees was rude, interrupted me, spoke over me and wouldn't even hear me out. He has no idea what his facial expressions come off as and made me feel like a complete idiot. He went over to a manager while another customer was with her and explained my situation, in front of the customer which is so embarrassing. How unprofessional is that???? This place gets so crowded!!! Granted, I went on a Saturday. You have to wait in a line to get help but no one tells you that. It's so crowded in this tiny strip space that I did not even recognize that there was a line for a while! You don't get a number or anything and the line moves so slow. It's much easier and cheaper to order online. There are sales online that are not in the store. Unless, you need a full orientation to the actual machines, it's just not worth it to me. Customer service is just okay. Definitely not what you would expect for an expensive product. read more
