I frequent this Starbucks location over the one in my neighborhood (Oak Park). The staff at this location are so upbeat, engaging, and just generally in a great mood. More importantly, they get your orders right and if there is something they are unable to fulfill, they let you know and ask if you wish to have a substitution. Additionally, if you have multiple items in an order (via the app) they place them all together. This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations, by far. read more

A fine Starbucks. Located on Woodward it has a small parking lot which makes it an easier option than the location a few miles away in Birmingham where the street meters only allow up to an hour to two of parking. This particular location is what I would call midsized, in that there are a handful of tables and seats but not a TON. Seating fills up quickly so finding can spot can be tricky. But if you're willing to share with others the communal tables are a good option. Staff is friendly and the Wi-Fi is solid. I spent a few hours here yesterday before an event and felt welcome the whole time. Ate lunch (turkey pesto panini) and had a good beverage (cinnamon shortbread latte) along with a productive work sesh. Can't ask for more than that! read more

First off...I would like to state that this location is north of Beaumont, in a strip mall with Potbelly, and NOT the location across Woodward from the hospital as several people have mistakenly said on here. Secondly, I would like to say that I've been going to Starbucks for many years to do my school work, as it is the best way for me to stay focused because there are so many distractions at home. I have probably spent more money at Starbucks than any other restaurant or coffee establishment, and out of the 12 years that I've been a teacher... who just wants to drink my coffee and grade papers...I've never felt disrespected until tonight. I have been to many Starbucks and I have found that all the locations tend to close at different times of the night. Tonight, I chose this location because Yelp told me it closed at the latest time, 10:30PM. When one of the workers came up to me and said ever so rudely, "It's 9 o'clock. We are closing." My response was "I am sorry but Yelp told me you didn't close until 10:30." He then snapped back, "Don't listen to yelp. We close at 9. You should be looking at the company's website." His tone and manner was so rude and condescending that it made me feel like I did something wrong. When I came home, I looked at the company's website and noticed that every location had different times in the area still...all of which did not match Yelp's times. Why am I in the wrong to trust Yelp? If you ask me...your manager or boss at your location is the one that is in charge of their Yelp account on here. It is their responsibility to update their business hours to the correct times and not mislead their customers. As I have said before. I chose this store because I needed the maximum number of hours to do my work and you guys were "supposedly" closing later than every other location in the area. In a way, this is false advertising since I picked your store and you got my business over somewhere else. You've just lost a loyal customer because I will not let your employees make me feel like I am stupid ever again. And just a little advice, you might want to think about posting your "NEW" hours at the entrance of your store...like every other Starbucks does! As always Starbucks was good. They always have great customer service and my tea was super hot as always.

Great new location just north of their old one down at 13 mile road. Brand new seating and fixtures inside, it's more spacious than the old one. My assumption is the access to this location is what forced the move the north. The old one was a pain the butt to get in and out of, while this one is a tad more accessible. There is also a significant amount of more parking. With that said, the parking is shared with several other well known businesses in this plaza, so I can see it being scarce at lunch time. I would have given it five stars, but the lack of outdoor seating is a disappointment in my books. read more

This is the best Starbucks in the area, 100%. The baristas are ALWAYS super nice, ALWAYS hustling. The line is always moving quickly, and my drinks are always made correctly. My favorite Starbucks! They always make the best coffee except I just hate stopping in the morning because the parking lot is very small so it causes backup traffic to the big road. They're pretty fast so you never wait too long when you order through drive thru. read more

In the old days this place was a Caribou, and the layout was much cozier back then. Now the inside is arranged kind of strangely, and the ambiance is far more sterile. They did manage to hold on to the same unhinged and untethered daytime crowd that used to fill the Caribou, and also people using the cafe as their office. A big plus is that you can rent a tuxedo and get a Potbelly sandwich on your walk to your car. read more

Moving from the building down the street that used to be an arcade when I was a kid to this cool new location. It has more space inside than I expected, but still perhaps a bit cramped (or just feels that way when standing at the end of the counter) I was excited because this is one of the special Starbucks locations that has a Clover. Maybe it's gimmicky, I don't suppose I know enough about Coffee to say, but I do know that I enjoy the Clover coffee very much. The staff was friendly and attentive. Note: My sister works for Starbucks but does not work at THIS Starbucks. Lest anyone think my ratings for Starbucks are in any way unbiased I provide this information. read more

This Starbucks is my favorite to go to. The workers there are super nice and I have never had an issue when reloading my Starbucks card which I've had at other locations. They are helpful for giving recommendations and one worker, Johnny in particular, is probably the nicest employee I've met at a Starbucks location. The employees here are TERRIBLE, at least in the morning. Every single one of them has a terrible attitude and act like everything is a pain. You say thank you and they just look at you. They do not greet you, look angry, and give off a terrible vibe. I've also heard them make comments after customers leave. I don't like coming to this one, it just gives me an angry vibe to start my day. I wish there was some sort of store manager who cared about this. What a terrible way to start the morning. read more
