I don't usually goto Starbucks because they are overpriced. But decided to treat myself and stop in. I placed a mobile order which was auto be ready in 10 minutes so I went in to pick it up. I waited 30 minutes for my drinks. They even told me 2 times they were working on my order. read more

I have never experienced such horrible customer service. Stopped through here on my way back from Monroe when heading to DFW airport, and went through the drive thru. There was a pretty short line so I figured it wouldn't take too long... I was horribly, horribly wrong. I ordered my drink, and sat... and sat... and sat. Finally when it was my turn at the window I was frustrated. They weren't incredibly busy, what was happening? I never found out. They brought out my moms drink and passed it over then proceeded to disappear into the depths of the store. I sat for 15 minutes before anyone came back close enough to the window for me to call to them. At this point I am fuming. I called an employee over and let them know that I was driving to the airport, and could he check on my drink. He replies "oh. Let me see if they are working on it" then disappears again. (um. how do you forget a drink of someone in the drive-thru? You'd think they would notice the line was getting longer and no one was moving. Also what about the drink for the people behind me? Wouldn't that have come by now at least?) 1 minute later a totally different person brings my drink over. What usually takes less than 10 minutes total (on a busy day) took about half an hour. The employees were apathetic, and obviously didn't want to be there. They never apologized for the wait, or for forgetting my drink, or maybe they didn't forget and just left it sitting on the counter, who knows. The worst part is I know I will go back because it's the closest Starbucks to the interstate and my brother goes to school in Ruston. Plus I have family in Monroe and Shreveport, so when I visit this falls right in the middle of the trip. Get it together Starbucks. read more

I go to Starbucks to pick up my mobile order at least 3-4 times a week. Every time I go in, the customer service is wonderful. They greet me by name every time I go and that's a good, warm feeling! But I guess that's what happens when you order the same thing the same way LOL. They will always get my business. read more

This is the most miserable Starbucks in existence. I didn't even order anything. I walked in and saw a line of people waiting for their orders. What's with flies in Starbucks? They're in most locations I visit, but they were especially annoying me in this one. Walked into the most disgusting bathroom, and it's not because the guy before time didn't flush. Upkeep is non existent- toilet paper on the floor, dirty toilet and sink. Did my business and left. Worst starbucks ever! It seems like every time I come to this starbucks (about 4-5 times a week) they are ALWAYS out of something. Yesterday I came and wanted a venti iced pumpkin spice latte and they were OUT of cups? I also wanted cake pops and they were out of those. TODAY I come back and they are still out of cups for "iced drinks" and STILL out of cake pops... Also drinks are usually way too sweet or not sweet enough. Also, hire more staff. Sitting in the line for 45 minutes for ONE drink is just not okay. Don't know if i'll be coming back to this starbucks! read more

This Starbucks is beginning to remind me of McDonald's and their ice cream machine always being "out of order." I've gone to this location on three occasions, sometimes not even in the same month, and they never have cold brew. I'm not sure if they literally run out every time because it's that popular or if the employees just don't want to take the time to make it. read more

Ruston Starbucks Barista Sherri (sp?) is a treasure. She always has uplifting words for me when I come through their drive through. The parking at this location is quite dicey, as the lot is not large enough to accommodate the amount of business the store receives. However, Sherri and the other baristas are always kind and friendly, which makes up for the logistical difficulties in the parking lot. Looking for a bite and restroom break while driving through Louisiana and happily encountered this Starbucks. The employees were friendly and made terrific drinks. The store and restroom was super clean. Only problem was the small parking lot but that's not the fault of the employees. Great experience overall. read more

This place is ridiculous December 11 at 7:10 I went in there because the line was so long there was hardly anyone in there and the lady with the dreadlocks down to her Thighs was just walking around I am assuming she was the manager because she told one of the employees to go to the back and do something when I was standing there waiting to be waited on and she was twiddling her thumbs talking to the young fella that was busy finally she waited on me and then she just stood around by the tall young fella was working his butt off and the girl at the window was working her butt off instead of helping out then she was talking to the lady at the window that was mixing a drink and evidently she was mixing me a grande instead of a Vente and told her not to worry about adding more stuff in my drink and the drink taste like crap and they had several drinks on the counter that no one was picking up no name calling out no hello how are you doing nothing I will not be back to that Starbucks and it was filthy behind the countertop read more

Coffee shop is utilized by college students all the time, so people will never stop showing up, which is why in my opinion this location has become complacent. The place is dirty. Trash on the floor and tables. During the day they never do walk through and take old cups off of tables, which attract flies. I'm right now watching about 6 flies attack an old frappuccino That's been sitting there for the last 2 hour. The tables as well as the chairs are old and marked up bad. Theirs just crumbs everywhere and it's gross. It needs a flip and an update and they'll stop losing so many customers in the area to local coffee shops that keep the place clean and nice. read more

Wow, I was nervous to stop here after reading some of the reviews! I had a great experience stopping at this Starbucks location. There was a woman in front of me who was very indecisive in her order and stood at the counter's only open register while I waited behind her. Just as my frustration was about to grow, a very nice barista stopped what she was doing to take my order so I wouldn't have to wait any more behind Ms. Indecision. Other than the smooth ordering process, the store was very clean, to include the restroom. Overall, I think I spent a total of five minutes or so here, so it didn't slow me down on my trip across the country, which is great! Unfortunately, I don't know if I'll ever be back to Louisiana to visit this location, but I definitely think that a lot of other Starbucks could benefit by being as efficient as this one. read more

Probably not much more you can fix in a college town, but the parking is just terrible. I don't know how you would expand it, but the drive thru can trap you in the parking lot if you're not careful. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Rude and unreasonable. Will no longer serve cold cake - even though ALL other stores (in different cities and states) will (and we've been buying it for years). It's a piece of cake from the freezer - less work for them. We're not asking them to bake it fresh!!! And their coffee is always hit or miss as to whether it will even be drinkable. The ONLY reason we have kept going is because it has a drive through and is nearly always open. We'll no longer be overpaying for the "privilege". Today we left with nothing and this was the LAST time we will visit this location. read more

I come here on a daily basis sometimes more than once. Last night like normal I ordered through my app and came through the drive thru to pick it up. They told me that there was no order for me that instead there was an order for Winter while the barista was laughing quite loudly. I repeated my order and she told me oh yeah it was under Winter and continued to laugh. When I asked what was funny about that she scoffed, "Ot was just a joke ma'am!" She proceeded to tell me they were out of blond espresso(which wasn't true) and that the manager was on break less than an hour before closing time. I spoke with a shift leader today who offered me a free drink. Even after such disrespect last night when the barista asked him if it was on the house he was too busy to even make eye contact or acknowledge my presence. I think that after the balance of my account is zeroed out I will most likely not be coming back to Starbucks. read more

i have nothing but good to say about the ruston starbucks. i have always received good service and good coffee and mocha's. i think people are in to much of a hurry in todays society. if you have a problem with what you received let them know and they will make it right. if you do have to wait it is worth the wait, i say!!!! :) read more
