During our three night stay at The Vinoy, we always saw the café well-stocked with very high quality baked items, sandwiches and meals, macaroons, sherberts, ice cream, and other delectables. The café, as we observed, was always well-staffed with friendly and attentive associates. During our visit, my wife had the sherbet (GF/DF) and I had a couple of macaroons and a cold Venti latte with caramel. All was good.

We split the turkey and cheddar. It had cranberry chutney lettuce and tomato. It was prepared panini style, it was delicious. Like thanksgiving on a pressed sandwich but a little bit more interesting flavors. It was great. We had a drink to go with it. Nice way to start our interesting weekend. Our plans do not matter, but the staff and service were great and the place was cool. Definitely recommend visiting when you can. Our schedule did not allow a longer visit, but if it had, I'd have had a second beer and relaxed for a bit. Excellent vibe.

In moi case it's usually a water. If you live around downtown you will most likely see someone you know & stop to chat. A local community "hotspot" gathering place. You can grab a lite brekkie, from their grab & go, take a walk in the park & stop here Before/after for refreshments etc., The lovely Views of the Marina & Park across the street adds to said neighborhood charm. Lots of morning walkers joggers etc., What I love most about the annex is they have this bright, sunny, little indoor cafe that features local artist's artworks/paintings on the walls. They also have a TV for those wanting to catch the latest highlights. The tables & chairs are quite comfy & its a very comfortable high vibes place to sit with your laptop or friends anytime OuiOui. Added to moi fave St. Petersberg restaurant/shops. Highly Reccomend.

My friend met me for dinner last night and from the first interaction with the hostess, to our dining experience with Aaron, the food, and the people watching...it simply got an A+. When I'm dining out, I need equal parts ambience, aesthetics, and the quality of food that hits my palate. The crispness of the Sauvignon Blanc was beautiful. For an appetizer we shared the crispy artichokes and trufflekopita. Both are a must try! They continuously give you a mouthful of flavor and are perfectly seasoned. For our entrees, we got the chicken francaise. The bucatini it was served on was delicious. For sides, we ordered roasted vegetables and OMGGGGGGG, get the Rosemary bread. The cherry on top was our service from Aaron and his recommendations on dishes and accompaniments. Superb all the way around - we will be back!

Janee was our waitress, she did such a great job! She actually recommended the trufflekopita, which was my favorite thing! Moving on to the entrees, I ordered the babybibb sandwich, also outstanding! This place is a gem! Everything about it so cool and very beautiful! They have paid parking a couple steps away! Don't miss the chance to try this place!

We ordered two large coffees, two ham, egg, and cheese open-faced croissants, and a blueberry scone. I wasn't used to having a breakfast sandwich served open-faced, but I'm officially a fan now. The croissant was flaky, buttery, and paired perfectly with the ham, egg, and cheese. Every bite was delicious. The coffee was exactly what we needed to start the morning, and everything together made for a fantastic breakfast. The pizza may have been the worst slice of pizza I have had in the last decade. It should have been thrown out hours earlier, but they sold it to us anyways. The tea was served so hot and was bitter. The person making the drinks didn't k ow what they were doing, and it shows. This is on management/ I'm sure somebody called out sick and this person was clearly not trained. The result is a $6 drink that was not drinkable. The turkey sandwich was very good, and is the only reason this isn't one star. I wish the house made chips were less salty as they were not enjoyable. All in all, I would bypass this place at all costs if there is a line. Pastries looked great- if you just went for a dessert, I think you would be happy.
