The only coffee shop open this early in the morning, so I'm back to this Starbucks for a couple of hours. The store opened on time (I walked in at 5:35 am) and there is plenty of parking. Inside, clean and tidy. The crew was busy doing their setup for the day - not much chatter at all. I was here for at least an hour before another customer stepped inside so it was quiet. And then when people did start arriving, the scraping chairs on the floor was annoying enough that it was time to go. There are plenty of seats and the power outlets are nearby. I came at 11 and it was pretty busy. The drive thru line was long and there were 6 people waiting on their orders. Good thing I put in a mobile order before getting there. When I walked in, I saw one drink at the pickup counter. I didn't think it was mine since the estimated time was 3 minutes later than my arrival time. When they called my name, it said drink 2 of 2. So then I looked at the one on the counter and it was mine. I assumed there were letters of the alphabet at the pickup counter to help them stay organized. But my first drink wasn't at the "P", so I guess they're not using it for that reason. The Starbucks is located in a small area with a few other shops so the parking lot is pretty small and gets a little congested. If there's no parking left, there is an O'Charley's across the street with lots of spots. read more

The service was great, but the chai lattes were not the best.. I asked them to remake it and they did and it still wasn't the best. I've never had a problem with chai tasting the way it did. Was there yesterday and my favorite barista is back! She was kind enough to come over and say Hello. She said she's not on the floor yet, she's retraining? I'm glad. She always gets my order correct, is always nice and pleasant. The other baristas should take notes from her. Filthy Starbucks. Everything all over counters, doors all dirty, no soap in bathroom , no toilet paper in bathroom. Trash overflowing everywhere. When food was opened and I asked why they were defensive they said it happnends sometimes and it's safe but they still wouldn't eat it. read more

Lots of attitude from the employees today, i was waiting on my mobile order, that was made fun of by the manager on duty for having caramel and unsweetened vanilla due to my espresso always being burnt taking pictures and all, and watched the lady at the window roll her eyes and very loudly complained about the attitude of a customer at the window, curse words were used and the lobby was full of customers including children. i never seem to have a good experience at this location but i had a gift card i wanted to use. improve your management team and base employees attitudes and im sure your 2 star rating would improve drastically. read more

Terrible service and not worth the effort. Waited over 30 minutes for a grande lemonade. Not even a refresher. Just a lemonade. Asked about it twice and was told they were working on it. Eventually asked for a refund. Apparently they put delivery orders over in-cafe orders, even when drivers weren't there. When I did ask for the refund, one of the employees very rudely stated they were slammed and I needed to wait 10 more minutes and it would be ready. This employee was wearing a grey four leaf clover hat, but no name tag, I guess so reviewers can't identify him. I would just avoid this place if at all possible. read more

They take their mobile orders very seriously. If you get there too soon they will make it known. I don't get it either what's the difference between a mobile order and ordering there and waiting for it. Anyways always attitude there. If you don't like your job just get a new one. read more

We tried the White Chocolate Peppermint mocha frappe and was hooked immediately, this is a deliciously good drink. You can tell the quality of a place by looking at the length of the drive thru line. Long lines means this place makes good coffees. read more

I don't think I have ever really had a bad experience or coffee from a Starbucks but Sunday was a first. I will give them 2 stars simply because I do love the coffee but this Starbucks in Salisbury was horrible. The order was placed for two tall non fat lattes. Not a complicated order. Twenty minutes came and passed with customers everywhere waiting. There were 4 employees working- 3 making orders and one taking orders. Our order somehow got lost. After 20 minutes I asked the lady taking the Order if perhaps she could check on my order. I got questioned as to my receipt (so glad I had said yes when asked if I wanted it) . So I presented it - pointing out the time the order was placed ... she promptly asked the coffee guy if he had my order - and that's where it really went down hill. He took my receipt and made 3 more orders before mine. Then when I asked the lady for my receipt... it was gone ... we paid with a gift card which showed the balance on the receipt so that was the reason I wanted it ... but it was gone . The other reason I would give this particular Starbucks a two star was the store itself. The place was not well kept- the ladies bathroom was atrocious ... all the way to the seat on the toilet was broke and I mean part of the seat was literally missing ... I love that this Starbucks has a drive-thru! I always stop in here on any trip that takes me up I-85 N. Thankfully, any time of day that I come through, the drive-thru is never busy. Whenever I'm traveling to and from Charlotte in this direction, I typically make a stop here. They have very clean bathrooms and they make a quick beverage. The store itself is like a basic Starbucks with retail lining the walls. There are usually lots of people doing work when I have popped in. If, however, you don't need to use the bathroom they have a convenient drive-thru. Yay for free wifi and a reliable Starbucks! read more

My biggest issue is I ordered a coffee and they guy at the register, who had nothing else to do, puts my order in the barista line of orders? Come on man. This is the only location I've ever had that happen. The difference is 15 seconds vs 5 minutes. The cashier person should fulfill regular coffee orders. But when we asked for a different one the lady at the window had an attitude towards us and was rude with her expressions. Well I can see why the ratings are so low and I haven't even read them. We decided to stop here on the way to Raleigh for coffee and a bathroom break. I ordered the new Cascara Latte and my partner a Caramel Frapp with a shot of expresso- nothing major. I had considered ordering from the case but they literally has items laying on the bottom of it. Like not properly displayed. It looked like the onion peels that slough off and fall to the bottom of the vegetable tray in the refrigerator. No thanks. Our cashier was really nice and eagerly explained what the Cascara was however our barista was a different story. My drink came up first and after she slammed and slid it over, the drink spilled out down the sides and onto the counter. I asked for a napkin to wipe off the cup (because after looking around for one and not finding any stocked, it seemed the next most logical thing to do) but I was ignored. While she was making the frapp this woman literally started slamming the blender and making growling noises! In bewilderment we stood and waited patiently for the next drink and then she starts yelling and growling into the headset?! The other staff seemed just as confused and mouthed "I'm sorry" to me. Next thing I know, she yells to some unidentified person for them to tell someone (I'm assuming a manager) "I NEED MY 30!!" Like...as in your lunch break?! Um....yeah no. Absolutely EVERY TIME I stop at this Starbucks my order gets messed up! Whether it's several drinks or just 1. It never fails! And the best part is that they behave like it's not their fault. It's great when they show you the receipt and you say, "yes that's what I ordered" and it still takes them 10 more minutes to give you the order! They have more than enough people working but they have difficulty getting the drinks out with any speed whatsoever. There always seems to be confusion and customers that are annoyed with the staffs' inability to execute. Suggestion....WRITE THE PERSON'S NAME ON THEIR DRINK! You will cut down on 75% of the confusion! The remaining 25% of the problem is just laziness! I'm out...never stopping here again. It's not worth the aggravation! P.S. I have had a variety of experiences here so I will give it a 3 star rating. Some staff are friendly and remember you (basically because I come in almost daily), while others act like you are bothering them to come in and order. Drinks are fairly consistently good. I think staff do not put out new mugs/tumblers and keep to resale themselves. I have to travel 30min to another store to get new ones when they come out. Bad location and bad layout for parking & drive-thru. I wanted to park and go in but the parking lot was full, so I decided to go through the drive-thru. I was stuck in line for over 20min ("stuck" because the building is on one side and a median/rail/etc is on the other side so there's no way out). Once I finally got up to the window, the barista said what drink I ordered to confirm. I replied "yes" but I guess she didn't hear or something, so she yelled it again at me very rudely. At any rate - this guy made the best vanilla chai latte and as we took our first sip and commented on the sweetness - he said, "You should ask for no water next time and it will even be better." He informed us that the way we got it this time was half water half milk - and with all milk it will be creamier, spicier and sweeter - we will go back tomorrow and let you know. Horrible slow service. The drive-through is a nightmare to get stuck in there's no way out of it! For some reason they have no idea what a dry cappuccino is. Not so great. Like a lot of those Starbucks in the hinterlands, it's not kept up well. I stop there fairly often because it's a good stop before hitting Charlotte for meetings. However it's pretty dirty usually and the restroom declines bit-by-bit every time. I remember when the place was new. It ain't new anymore. This week I made a stop off the interstate and they were out of bananas for their smoothies. Evidently every flavor whether strawberry or mango requires bananas. Fair enough. "Why don't you guys go buy some bananas?" "Oh we can't do that, we have special bananas that are stamped and shipped in." Hmmm... Guy wasn't too interested in fixing this or much of anything really. Not a big deal but as other reviews noted the location is in a difficult spot. I suspect everyone that has been here knows exactly what I'm talking about. Getting back out is very nearly a nightmare. It's a convoluted way back around to a road that is nearly always backed from the light. Stop here if you have to have a Starbucks coffee fix but don't count on much more. read more

Warm greeting, coffee served quickly, lots of seating and a nice quiet environment to spend an hour out of the office on the way to a meeting. Great team of employees working well together. Really like this Starbucks, I use it as a stopping off point on the way to the western part of the state. Restrooms are also always clean and sparkly. read more

My sister stopped by here for a drink & went through the convenient drive thru. The trip was very short, the drive thru person was competent and my sister liked her drink. It's worth the visit though it is located in a huge area of various food places & is probably very crowded at the wrong time of day. read more
