When a car is at the drive thru window for over 5-10 minutes they should ask that car to drive to the front so they can help the rest of the line. Someone behind us actually honked twice several minutes apart because we are all stuck here in the single lane drive thru. Years of not going to starbucks I had to go there because it was the only thing open while I was going to the hospital for an emergency. This location is conveniently located next to South Towne Mall, and the freeway. It is rare to see this drive-through line not busy however, the employees are always quick to get your order to you. The most convenient thing about Starbucks is you always know what to expect they're pretty consistent from location to location. The line isn't long and it took me about 15 minutes before I was even able to place my order. Total wait time 23 minutes. This location is consistently bad. Closed the inside. Lines wrapping around the shops at south town making the area super congested. One day drink comes out completely wrong but there's nothing you can do other than get in the long line again. Next day drink can't be made because they ran out of ingredients. I don't often leave reviews for large franchises because there are hundreds of them, and usually if you've been to one, then you've been to them all. However, I have to say that this particular location is one of the best Starbucks that I've ever been to. The customer service here is excellent. There are days where I'll spend hours here studying, and have always felt welcomed and never rushed to leave. Having group meetings here is also nice because of how spacious the entire place is. On top of that, they have really comfortable chairs and outlets at almost every table. The only thing that bothers me here is the drive thru. The line often gets SO long that it blocks the main road. This makes it difficult to pull in and out of the parking lot. Other than that, it's an awesome location. read more

I wish I could give this location 10 stars! Everyone is so nice and friendly. The manager Omar is makes you feel at home and like you are their best friend. I recently came in to check out the Verismo machine. He made me a drink and I was blown away by it. But as he was sitting talking with me he greeted everyone that came in and knew most of them by name. He gave me tips on how to save money and still enjoy my favorite drinks. When this location was closed during COVID I was going to the location on 9000 S or Thanksgiving Point. How is it those locations can handle being busy but this location at SouthTowne can not?! I've never had an issue at this Starbucks but this morning I felt really disrespected. We went through the drive thru and was greeted by Kenzie. After pulling to the window we realized we forgot a drink and I know how frustrating this can be because of the fact I have worked at a coffeeshop before. After telling her we were really sorry and just forgot one more drink she shook her head in front of us and then rudely said "anything else we can get for you this time" and rolled her eyes and turned to tell her coworkers she needed the drink on the fly. There was no one behind us in the drive thru and it only took less than a minute. Both drinks were rang in incorrectly and the entire time we were there she was complaining about how many people were on the floor. If you show up before 7:59am the staff makes your drink correct everytime no problem, they are awesome!! Show up at 8am or later and it's like Pluto showed up and you know why it's not a planet anymore. Always making the drinks incorrectly or handing you the wrong drink in drive thru, ask for a straw for a grande drink they give you a venti to poke your eye out, screw the straw but wait you can't drink out of the cup because the tops loose and comes off. So do I wanna have a correct drink, poke my eye out or wear my coffee? I spent about $100 a week here on coffee and it's not worth it anymore if it's my one vice and messed up often and not there before 8 when the 7am crew is there. read more

Great place to meet people but they missed the mark on WiFi speed...big time. The biggest reason I go to Starbucks is business and the Internet is so slow I can't get anything done here. If you order something 10-15 minutes before arriving at the store, there is no reason you should be waiting several minutes AT the store too.
