I have been to this Starbucks at least 3 times a week for the last three years making that a grand total of 468 times, approximately. The amount of people the baristas serve here is ridiculous. There is always a line but the staff make up for the volume of people. My drinks are always perfect and the food has always been fresh. I will miss the staff here because we moved off the island. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!! On a side note the seating area just had new floors put in and new tables and chairs. I think I will miss those oversized purple sofa chairs. So in all,the years that I have been a g I ld member I have never, ever had a bad experience with service until now. I brought in my plastic cup for ice tea that I had bought an hour earlier to get my free refill. The free refill of tea and brewed coffee is a benefit that Starbucks established for gold members. I was told I had to show my receipt for the prior purchase to get my refill. Of course I don't have it, I never knew I would need it. They are lucky they are on post and they get lots of customers only because it's convenient for the soldiers with no time to go anywhere else. This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to in my entire life. Idk why I kept giving them chances, my coffee craving wasn't even worth the disappointment. 6 times in a row over a span of 6 months, they were always out of something I wanted. The wait times are ridiculous and it taste terrible! I ordered a simple vanilla Frappuccino that I always get and it tasted like someone pumped 100 shots of espresso into it. I've given this Starbucks a few chances and every time it has gotten worse. At this point, I won't be returning. The wait times are INSANE. Go to literally any other Starbucks and they'll be twice as efficient, at least. My first two visits the staff were at least very friendly. This most recent visit, not so much. I think they were flustered by the fact that they had remade my drink twice and I STILL ended up walking away unhappy. My drink really isn't that hard to make (an iced americano with white chocolate and a little cream)... yet the first two lacked espresso and the last lacked white chocolate. I just can't. This Starbucks location is located on the US army base of Schofield Barracks in Wahiawa. Given that it is located there, obviously you would need to have military base access to get on board and visit there. The Starbucks is located inside the PX area and it is the on immediate left hand side once you enter through the entrance. It is a decent sized Starbucks where it has a good amount of tables and seats around the area. The staff and customer service is pretty good. I have gone here a few times during the morning and afternoon. Mornings are of course the busiest. I notice that their prices compared to other regular Starbucks locations might be just slightly better/cheaper. Now that I am thinking about it, this maybe the only Starbucks technically in the Wahiawa area haha. However, again you do need military base access of sorts or you can just get a visitors pass at one of the gates towards on base. read more

More recently, I have been told they were out of espresso and did not have a lot of the menu items...ok. The last three out of five times I have been here, my drink was made wrong and when I told them that was not what I ordered, I received attitude. By far one of the worst experiences I have had at Starbucks twice in a row. Their coffee doesn't taste the same, their scanners for the phone app either doesn't work or charges you for the less amount saying that's all you have. I work at one of the spots inside the px so I'm here almost every single day to get coffee. A couple months ago they started renovations so they have the little coffee cart thing they are working in right now. I just want to say they are doing an awesome job working with what they have! I know it's not always easy to work in a limited space, but they have been making it work. I'm always happy, and if I need absolutely anything adjusted in my drink they are always willing to help! Awesome and friendly staff! Plus I can see the friendly environment they are working in and always keeps me in a good mood and wanting to come back! Need more people working for morning hours. Line was extremely long and only had one person ringing people up. The guy who was ringing people up was VERY nice. He didn't seem like he was stressed about the line, which is nice. He's the reason I gave any stars at all. I was there overall for about 35 minutes waiting for my drinks. I received one and not the other, so when I finally asked about it, I was questioned about my receipt in which I told the guy who rang me up that I didn't need it (my mistake I guess). Luckily, he remembered and told her exactly what I was missing, and she made it. I didn't even get a "I'm sorry for the wait" or anything. I left in a bad mood because I was questioned about something I paid for, and then didn't even receive a proper response or apology. Slow service. Employees seem as if they are annoyed. They don't listen and take down orders correctly as my drink has been made wrong/missing things several times and I've had to have them fix it only for it to still be wrong! This is probably one of the worst Starbucks on the island. The customer service is average at best. They could have 6 people working but rarely do they open both registers. Leaving a line that can take maybe 20 minuets. I asked for some whole milk to add to my coffee and the lady said "okay". She then forgot. That's fine. I reminded her. She then sighed and grabbed a jug of milk and set it close to her at the bar and said "here you go" she put it in a spot that was obviously hard for me to reach. Ever once in a while I get decent service. I've never seen employees argue like they do as well. It's embarrassing sometimes just to stand there while they bicker. I wish there was something closer to my house but maybe if they read this they might change. It's common sense that this place is busy in the morning as everyone is headed to work, but along with the time it takes to find parking when it's busy you're probably better off going to another Starbucks if there's one in proximity to you. I've been going to this Starbucks for years. I always get the same drink- Venti iced coffee with no sweetener and light heavy cream. Let's just say today was a terrible experience. Each time I have gone in I have a problem with my drink. Either they put sweetener in it or put the same amount of heavy cream in it that they would put milk bleh. Anyways....today thankfully after repeating what I wanted to the baristas several times they made my coffee correctly. Good awesome. I always stay for 4-5 hours to do my homework in which I get hungry. Well I decided to order the sous vide eggs today but thought the egg with the bacon would be a better choice for my high fat diet rather than the egg whites. I ask for this they said they had that and that's great. I also ask for another drink being a tall green tea. When I asked the different green teas she had, she basically named a couple and expected me to know which teas they had in stock. Thankfully the manager was standing nearby so I could ask him what they actually had so I could order. She asked if I wanted sweetener I said no thank you. She then handed me my eggs and I ask for a fork and notice they were the wrong ones I asked for. She then proceeded to look for the other kind and told me they were out. So I said okay that's fine just the tea then and a refund for the food cause I don't want that. 3 other employees came over to offer me other food in which I had to INSIST that I just wanted the tea at this point and to finish my homework. Took a lot of convincing for them to get the manager to refund me. Then the girl asked me yet again if I wanted my hot tea sweetened. Their listening skills are terrible! Not to mention I forgot my GNC bag of stuff and called back an hour after they closed and they thankfully were still there and answered and I asked if they found a bag at a table. The first woman on the phone- one that's been there a while I could tell by her horrible attitude- before even checking with anyone else told me there was no bag. I then had to tell her to ask her coworkers and to check the table itself because I left literally 10 minutes before closing. She then put another girl on the phone with me who answered the phone with "What." Uhm EXCUSE ME?!?! I simply laughed and said yeah I'm a customer? Finally after about 10 minutes of this circus act I finally hear them ask their manager if he found a bag and he came on the phone to tell me they turned it in to customer service. Whew. I would give them a one star for customer service. However I always see the manager around and he's always so happy to see me. I worked at Starbucks for years and am still in the hospitality industry and I wouldn't ever dream of treating the customer the way I was treated tonight nor would I mess up a regular's drink and order every single time I was there. They need a serious reality check. I will drive to Mililani now instead of here because I refuse to be served incorrectly anymore for the amount of money and time I spend here trying to get out of the house for some quiet for my homework. Hit or miss. Last two times I ordered a frap they made them lattes. Also I can only drink soy milk and they messed that up both times they remade my drink. I had a bad night and morning so far because of it. Every time I have shown up I was always greeted immediately but last night around 7pm the girl (who looked new) was speaking another language to another one of the workers who was taking the trash out. On taste alone worst Starbucks I have had and the barista wasn't following Starbucks standard for making the drinks java chip Frappuccino are supposed to have chocolate drizzle on the top also seemed like she may have not used the correct scoop of ice. The drinks are garbage, the staff is garbage, the shop is always dirty and cluttered and they ALWAYS get your drink wrong. I've never had a problem going to this Starbucks. There is usually a long line when they first open due to the soliders grabbing coffee and whatnot but other than that its usually a 5 minute run through. They have different foods you can grab and even offer free samples of things. They also have free wifi which is a good plus. read more
