Told him what I usually get, on the rare occasion I drink coffee, and he quickly and accurately constructed an equivalent for me that perfectly matched. I love Starbucks and how most of the time they provide a good atmosphere and service that is normally pretty quick. Not this Starbucks. No straws out anywhere, my mobile order took almost 15 minutes to fulfill for only 2 drinks and the store was not busy at all with 5 people working. Very inefficient and an overall poor experience. So my tall caramel macchiato was a 2 star. Tasted like a bad vanilla latte. So much milk I couldn't taste the espresso . Maybe I'm spoiled from when I use to order caramel macchiatos 20 years ago. You'd pick up your cup and it feel light, first sip would consist of thick foam and caramel. Anyway, no one makes them good any more that's way my go to Starbucks is a doppio over ice (rarely is that messed up). However my husband was happy with his chai latte. Seriously now. Service and the ability to get what you wanted by capable and competent staff is what set Starbucks apart. Simple coffee question and a simple order and has to repeat myself 4 times. Paying the bill took longer than it should and also getting my coffee. Please Starbucks work on customer service and less chit chat and socialization of tour staff members when patrons are waiting for their orders. I never write bad reviews or reviews in general ever because I don't like feeling like a Karen but I am really not happy. I waited in line out on the street for 10 mins, decided to place an order on the Starbucks app just to get out of line and the cafe being closed. So I get back in line and wait for another 20 minutes since I had already paid for my drink. At the window my drink is watered down and I went to take a sip of my drink and noticed too late that the lid wasn't on at all and most of my drink poured all over my phone in my lap to where my speakers aren't working and all over my clothes and seat. On our trip to San Antonio we stopped here for coffee and potty break. The store is open to the public but restrooms are closed. Our daughter could not use the restroom. They directed us to the chili's next door. I'm sure their neighbor, Chili's, did not give approval for Starbucks' customers to use their restrooms. Starbucks should have drive through only if they will not permit access to restrooms for paying customers. Customers are required to wear masks, wash and sanitize hands- so if you open the interior what's the difference in restrooms? We did not order our drinks and left to find accommodations elsewhere. read more

I stopped in here about a week ago to grab a drink & food, and spend about a half hour doing some work, hoping to utilize the free wifi. I sat down and set up my computer to sign on before placing my order. Unfortunately, I was unable to connect to the internet, and after asking a couple other patrons, it was across the board and not just an issue with my personal connectivity. I brought this to the attention of one of the baristas, letting her know that I was fixing to buy a drink & some food, but wanted to make sure I could log on to the web before doing so. She jumped on her phone and did some things, then looked up at me and confirmed my assumptions with "Oh, yeah. That's right." and nothing else. She didn't seem the slightest bit interested in actually serving the customer and providing a solution to my problem. She just walked off aimlessly, doing nothing in particular. The store had some spills by the trash can and bar that also did not get addressed at all while I was there. One of the employees was right next to the spills and apparently had no clue they were there, even though everyone that walked in the store made an obvious attempt to step far around the spill as it was a slipping hazard. I usually don't give negative reviews, but the experience most definitely wasn't like my many other experiences at Starbucks shops(including this location).I fully intend for this review to be constructive, and not just an angry rant like you see with many folks that jump on and leave an angry 1 star review. read more

You will spend at least an hour at the drive thru. You will get a cold half empty venti cup once you get there...because they made it when you ordered it half an hour ago. and then when they don't have what you ordered online...you will get offered a "recovery" card that is only worth half of what you paid. I paid with a Starbucks card....YOU'RE Starbucks!! Just refund my order. I don't have another hour to wait for a cold $5 coffee. Thankful for the local, efficient coffee places in town. read more

Placed my order on the app 15 minutes before I got there, with the prep time being 5-10 minutes. When I got there they had not prepared anything. Waited another ten minutes for 2 iced drinks and 2 sandwiches with no one else waiting inside. Also I ordered an iced coffee and the barista told me she was out and gave me cold brew instead. What a disappointment. I've waited for a Starbucks in Seguin since I moved here 17 years ago. Finally tried this new one out tonight and in the drive through they got my order wrong but quickly fixed it. That wasn't the problem. The Frappachino and Latte tastes like they were watered down! Absolutely no flavor. I've never had a Starbucks drink that didn't taste great before. In hindsight I should've driven back and returned them but I had been traveling and just wanted to get home. Decent place, nice atmosphere, timely service and the drinks taste really good. I would give it five stars, however when I went through the drive through they filled my drink past the cup into the lid and then left the lid loose so the lid came off and the drink spilled on me. Pretty sure it was not intentional, who knows. So, check to ensure your lid is securely on the drink when going through the drive through or it will be sitting in your lap! read more

I walked in stopping in from out of town. Ordered a caramel macchiato iced. Usually the Starbucks I've frequented in the past will put whipped cream on top. So apparently this was problem! The guy who made the drink asked me if I asked for it at the register. I said no bc I'm used to it already being there. He said well it doesn't come with it. I said okay but i usually have it. It toon us 15 minutes to get our drinks in the drive through. There were two cars when we arrived. We waited 3/4 minutes to place an order at which time we were asked, "have you been helped?" Then, we waited almost 10min to get to the window. At that point we waited to be acknowledged by the drive through barista. This is the only Starbucks close to me and I go about three times a week. And every time they have gotten at least one thing wrong on my order. I ask for almond milk, I get regular. I literally cannot drink regular milk and I don't catch it until I've already started drinking it. I ask for iced, it's hot. A handful of times i've left with someone else's drink! I'm a barista as well so I have A LOT of grace when it comes to coffee but this is ridiculous. EVERY TIME I go you guys get it wrong. Starbucks come on, get it together. read more

Out of the hundreds of Starbucks I've visited, this is my least favorite. It's such a shame because this is the ONLY Starbucks in this town! The service is slower than molasses. I wouldn't be writing a negative review only based on time, given that they're new, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I went inside to avoid the long drive-thru, and had to wait even longer. Their staff was not only slow, but rude! They had three women working but only one seemed to be doing anything. A part of the Starbucks experience is having the barista write your name on your cup. Well when I requested this, the lady told me they don't have markers and she didn't know if she could fit what I wanted on my cup! She didn't smile, offered no apology, just rude! This is one of the nicest and cleanest Starbucks! It is now my break point along I-10 - bypassing the Buc-ees' craziness. Spacious and varied seating inside and outside, fast wifi and clean potties. The Ladies restroom is a 2-stall, unlike most other Starbucks you may find with only one seat. The baristas are also friendly, and they don't skimp on the drinks.
