I was pleasantly surprised by my coworkers bringing me almond croissant from Beyond coffee this morning. Man was it delicious. Flakey, crunchy, soft, sweet, all in one bite. My coworker said she stops there all the time due to fast and friendly service and the excellent coffee/treats and the excellent morning vibes and atmosphere. What a delicious treat! Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here! I stopped in to Beyond Coffee mid house touring for a pick me up and was pleasantly surprised to see they had matcha lattes on the menu in shop despite it not being on their online menu. The café was VERY small with only three spots for people to sit and enjoy their drinks and pastries, and when I went it was super crowded with tons of people crammed into the tiny space waiting for their orders. I'll be honest, the wait for orders was entirely too long, especially with three baristas working behind the bar, but they were constantly working nonetheless and were exceptionally kind. My Cheese Danish came out prior to my Matcha Latte and it was really delicious! It had a good sweet to savory ratio, with sugar crystals on the buttery pastry and a soft cream cheese center that was rich and yummy. The drawback was that it was so flaky that the pastry got everywhere with every bite. Still absolutely worth it. As for the Matcha Latte, it came out a little while after I'd finished my pastry but was absolutely divine. I'd ordered it with Lavender and Almond Milk, and though the matcha itself wasn't of the highest grade in the world, it was still delicious with how excellently it was crafted. It was creamy, smooth, and had an excellent milk foam on top. The Lavender was of good quality and complimented the drink so well without overpowering it, and the Matcha was strong without bitterness. I honestly wish I'd gotten the largest size available it was so yummy. I'm a little sad that I don't live closer as I'd make a habit of regularly supporting this business if I did. If you give Beyond Coffee a try, make sure you have a little bit of extra time to stick around while they prepare your order. It's definitely worth the wait. read more

Tried the pretzel sausage kolache, cinnamon roll, bagel, and cheese danish, the kolache was definitely the standout. They rotate their drink menu with some creative options the staff comes up with in-house, which is a nice touch. Chatted with the barista for a bit, she had nothing but good things to say about the owner and the setup. Very cute place! We stopped by on our way back to Houston. Services was great, ambiance was great. What a cute and cozy place for a coffee and bite. We had the pretzel sausage kolache, cinnamon roll, bagel, and cheese danish. The kolache was hands down the best! They feature interesting drinks that rotate and the employee told me they create them in house. She spoke highly of the owner and the design when I asked questions. Was passing through town and needed a coffee so stopped by Beyond Coffee's drive thru. It wasn't amazing quality coffee so I personally probably wouldn't return. This place used to be great but not since they have jumped up in price. I won't be coming anymore after the last 2 times... $8.50 for a lavender matcha was bad enough but nearly $7 for an Arnold Palmer *the tea and lemonade are both subpar imo* is lunacy! They upcharge for every little thing including half iced tea and half lemonade sorry, but when I'm saving a couple bucks each drink at Starbucks of all places, you're over priced. Cute decor' and a great display of what they offer to their customers. If we hadn't eaten we would have for sure grabbed a pastry, they looked amazing. We ordered a Caramel Latte and it was SO good! My husband loved his black coffee, he's tried many and this was a refreshing and favorite for him! I had a strawberry ice cream and got way more than I expected - so delicious with chunks of strawberry included! The staff was so friendly and accommodating, even gave our doggo a pup cup. This place is new and it's located in the new shopping center across from sonic. I stopped by to get me some coffee and I got a medium size caramel mocha on ice. The coffee tasted so good had a lot of flavor and the medium size was 30 large in comparison to other coffee placesthe price was on point cheaper than other places. I also got a breakfast bagel sandwich and it was really good. Also very inexpensive. I order a shake. That was also delicious definitely will come back. The service was excellent.
