Really, the staff didn't even bother to acknowledge my husband n I, AFTER ABOUT standing there for about 5 minutes, and mind you we were the only ones in line so 5 people working behind the counter were oblivious to us without even being busy! I have been a Starbucks fan for a very long time. This location is my favorite in San Antonio so far. I love the fact it is convenient, it has a drive thru, and unlike the Converse locations there is plenty of space to use plug ins or use a table. I have used this location many times for job hunting, studying, etc. I have had them mess up twice. Once not layering my iced caramel macchiato when I asked them to and the other they gave me a smoked butterscotch frappe when I ordered hot. I am not one to have them redo it so I drank them anyways. read more

I've been to this Starbucks many times and have found that they just aren't as good as the others. Everytime I come here, something is wrong (half-full cup, no chocolate drizzle, flavoring off)...I would recommend stopping at the 3009 location or the Walzem location. read more

I could not understand why there is always a long line both in and out of this storefront. There are a million Starbucks everywhere. In fact only a few hundred yards away tucked inside the Target is a Starbucks. One day there was calm before the storm so I jumped into the drive thru and ordered a few drinks. WOW I now see why this particular location is so popular. Took our order quickly and efficiently. Everything was better than perfect. You could have photographed every drink we got and shown it in an advertisement. And they tasted just as good as they looked. What a great place to fulfill your Starbucks needs. I am giving this place 5 stars! Besides the fact that they always get our order right and they are always courteous, friendly and professional.. I'll tell you why. My husband has NEVER had this happen to him so he was extremely touched. Back in February my mom was having health issues so she was in and out of the hospital for over a month. My family and I never left her alone at the hospital so we would take turns staying with her. My dad would take the coffee they had available at the hospital but my sister and I would prefer to stop by for coffee whenever we would change shifts with him. Well one day my mom got really sick so we were all in the hospital for most of the day waiting to hear from the doctors and my husband had stayed home with all the kids. That night he decided to go check on my mom and stop by to get us some good coffee to get us through the night. He is not a coffee drinker so when he stopped at Starbucks and saw the menu he was confused (he thought he was just going to show up and order 4 coffees). As the lady in the drive thru asked for his order he told her he had no idea what he wanted to order. He said it wasn't for him that he was taking us coffee in the hospital. She quickly asked him some questions about us and gave him her recommendations... He agreed and went with her suggestions. He ordered something sweet for my sister and I and something strong for my dad and brother in law. When he pulled up to the window the young lady handed him the 4 drinks and said "the drinks are on the house today sir, hope your loved one gets better" he thanked her and tried to pay for the order but she said no that she wanted his family to continue to visit their location when everyone was in a better place. Needless to say, we have definitely been back since my mom has been out of the hospital. It's not even the fact that they gave him free coffee but the fact that they cared enough to try to do something nice to brighten up our day while we were in that hospital room really meant a lot to us. read more

This is a real convenient Starbucks around the corner from my parents house. I've come a many of times and have been able to lock in on my journaling and other little projects that require focus. Parking has been interesting because the drive-thru impedes the nature flow of traffic once you pull in. But once inside the staff seem rather proficient. read more

Slowest drive through ever and parking lot is a total mess. They definitely didn't plan for the thoroughfare as they are super slow in drive through, it's hard to park - very tight spots and narrows through ways and it's always a total mess. Please get staff that can efficiently run the drive through, fix processes, whatever it's needs. In general the drinks are okay but the wait is excessive and the service - ehhh. read more

This is the worst Starbucks I have been to. Whoever developed it wasn't thinking and put it in a terrible location. The drive through is difficult to enter and takes a good twenty to thirty minutes to get through. The inside isn't any better. The staff isn't too friendly either. Extremely slow internet even though barely anyone was there (less than 1 Mbps according to speedtest.net). The barista didnt know what a mocha cookie crumble was (seriously?). They were redoing the decorations in the middle of the day, using much of their seating area to hold boxes they were unpacking. Shouldn't that happen after hours? Lastly, they don't call your name when your drink is ready, so some random person took my drink and they had to remake it. Worst starbucks I've been to. read more

I wanted to find a Starbucks close to Randolph Air Force Base to frequent for my Tuesday/Thursday class I take there. My GPS led me here, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it had a drive thru, even though it was located smack-dab in the middle of a strip mall. I am assuming by the number of cars in line, that this is a very popular location. The placement of the drive-thru is very awkward, making your time in line inevitably in the way of cars making their way through the parking lot. When I finally made it up to the speaker to order, the young girl on the other end was very friendly, and didn't make me repeat my complicated order, which is always nice. Even though my order was placed with only 3 cars in front of me, it still took another 15 or so minutes to get up to the window. Though I do enjoy a friendly barista, the drive-thru is not the place for that. AFTER giving the lady in front of me both her drink and her change, the barista and this woman continued to carry on a conversation for what seemed like forever. Neither of them paid any attention to the customers waiting in the long line behind them. I'm happy to report that my drink was made correctly, and I myself was able to get my drink and change in a timely fashion...but my suggestion goes to both customers and baristas alike: If conversation is what you are looking for, please do the drive-thru line a favor and GO INSIDE, read more

Kudos to the baristas today. I usually go thru the drive-thru, but this morning's line made me decide to go inside. The line inside was just as long. The baristas kept their cool and got the orders Rollin' and out in no time at all. That's what keeps me coming back to this location - customer service and great coffee of course. read more

They are ALWAYS kind and helpful, and their coffee is great! I have never been to a place where the staff was so kind and concerned for their customers. To the impatient people who don't know how lines work: calm down! If they have a lot of orders, it's going to take awhile. There is nothing they can do about it so don't blame them! They are trying as hard as they can with what they have. If you want to make it on work on time and have your precious starbucks coffee, learn how to plan it in! If you come during a rush, obviously it's going to take awhile. I come here every time I work, because I'm always so exhausted after school- I need a pick me up. Or I'm opening the store. They are usually pretty fast with their orders but typically I don't have to clock into work during their rush periods, I always make time to be able to wait though because I know how it can be sometimes. Just the other day my car stopped working in the drive threw and the staff showed a lot of concern to my problem and suggested that they help me.
