Amazing experience at the Rittiman location! I had such a great experience here today, especially after being treated pretty poorly at another Dutch Bros. Azayla was the barista at the window and she was incredibly kind and understanding. She let me redeem my birthday drink even though I missed it on my actual birthday because I was sick from pregnancy. Not only that -- she let me get my birthday drink and a new drink at the same time so me and my boyfriend could both enjoy one. She even asked how far along I was and just had such a friendly, warm vibe. Honestly made my whole day better after how things started. The staff, service, and drive through were 5 stars! The reason I'm giving Dutch Bros 3 stars is because their coffee drinks are not good. I'm sorry and know this is an unpopular opinion, but it is true. They are chalky, chemically tasting, and I threw my drink away. This time I tried a valentine drink and it was bad. My partner's caramel drink was bad. I've visited before and the golden eagle was bad. It is rare I throw away a drink, but I've thrown away every Dutch bros drink I have ever had. I went to Dutch bros after my physical fitness test this past Wednesday. When they asked me how I was doing, I told them I was a lot better now that I had passed and was getting a drink. I had heard so much about Dutch Bros coffee from a few friends. I live in area where there aren't any of these locations around so when I saw that there was one nearby on our way out of San Antonio I made my friends go with me to check it out. I was told that they're extremely friendly and the drinks are pretty good. Unfortunately, the person I took our order was just normal friendly and wasn't over the top friendly so I was kind of disappointed lol. We parked in the parking lot and walked over to the window to look at the menu and to place our order. We explained that we've never been and he gave us a few suggestions. The drink that I ordered was the Golden Eagle. It was okay, it wasn't great it wasn't bad but it was a solid iced coffee. It kept me up for the rest of the day so it did what it had to do. Overall, look like most people like to go through the drive-thru it was a hot day so I can't blame them. But nothing bad nothing great pretty standard and if I ever see one in the future I will definitely stop back in. read more

This was my 1st visit to this location. I normally go to the one off Walzem Road (2x now). Well, this company is taking care of their people, & it's clear. They are always friendly & helpful. Mind you, this is Texas in the summer. It's hot. But, these employees, inside the teeny building, were not sweaty, & did not look weathered. Each of them were smiling & quite pleasant. I have been slowly going through their menu of drinks. Today, I ordered an iced white chocolate mocha. Okay, with the first sip what I noticed (& loved) was the fact that I could taste the coffee, & not just the creamer & flavorings. I'm a self confessed coffee snob having grown up in Europe, & I work with a guy who is just as passionate about his coffee, & we went on a coffee break together today. I do not wish to taste over cooked coffee. I want the aromatic flavoring of the coffee to wash across my pallette, not the sugar trying to over power burnt coffee. Like some other big named places. Dutch Bros. coffee has a nice deep taste. It's bold, but not obnoxious. I was hesitant on getting this flavor, because I'm not a big white chocolate fan. (It's cocoa butter, not chocolate. Primary reasoning) However, this tasted like a normal mocha & I really liked it. (May ask for a pump of hazelnut next time.) My friend ordered the Americano, which was my 1st Dutch Bros coffee I got. He liked the flavor of the coffee, the temperature of the drink, & the cups. I know that may sound silly. But, if you're a person that gets coffee to go often, you're aware how hot a cup of coffee can be. Well, Dutch Bros provides you with an additional cup as to not sear your fingers. It's really something someone will appreciate. I know we did. I only took one photo today, I know weird. But, sometimes it's all about the vibe. Today it was like that. If you're looking for a good company, good products that you can count on from location to location, & decent pricing - search no further. Dutch Bros Coffee if the place for your next coffee stop. Man, I've heard so much hype about this place and I was soooo excited to try it. I also heard that they'll ask you some questions about your preference and basically tailor a drink to fit you. I also heard the employees were happy and ecstatic and had great energy. I got none of that. My coffee was watered down, and didn't taste like coffee at all. My cashier was hot and melting and pooped out. And the hype I heard was totally wrong. The only positive about this place was the price. I drive a 30 min round trip for this place. It's a drive through only, so not the place to go to if you're looking to sit down and study. The coffee is DELICIOUS. The annihilator is my favorite drink. I also liked the shark attack rebel. Excellent pick me up after an all nighter. The staff is SO friendly and give such great recommendations. I always ask for a drink suggestion when I want to shake things up because I know they won't disappoint. The coffees are HUGE and cheaper than Starbucks. This place just opened by my house and I have NEVER EVER EVER been served my happier or kinder employees ever. I brought my three kids and we went to the walk up window so they could be slow and we could all look at the menu together... y'all these folks were so kind, my kids ran around and played tag (loudly) while we waited for our drinks, when there was a lull in the drive through line the person working it came over and offered my kids cool stickers (not junky ones but rad ones). When we got our drinks there was another person swapping out to be the new outside drive through person and they struck up a whole conversation with my kids to make sure they liked their drinks too! Seriously, kind, friendly and happy all around. I bet the management must be super good to have such a happy team. read more

Rude employee at the window. She was too busy singing and talking to offer my dogs a pup cup. My dogs were both in plain sight and she looked right at them and didn't acknowledge they were even there. This is not about the pup cups; this is about the service. Very rude. read more

Very friendly staff members but I believe they are not ready to make coffee. I saw them making a mistake of making their hot menu and hand it to me. I could not ask them to remake because I could see that she was not making it again. I am okay for them to train their new staffs but ignoring their mistake is not really appealing. I come here everyday and the staff is very friendly and efficient. They have not once messed up my order and the line goes so quickly. I LOVE IT HERE they make Starbucks look bad! If I'm being honest, every location I have been to has been very great. Not only do they have coffees but they also have lemonades and tea, with soo many combinations to choose from. They give us stickers every first Wednesday of the month which is when they roll out. Whenever the staff sees the kids they always offer them lollipops or more stickers. They do alot of fun stuff. I LOVE this DB location! I grew up on DB and even though they are newer in San Antonio they go above and beyond! All of the broistas are so nice and easy to talk to. I have a weird order for most, except the few that moved from other states that had DB, but 90% of them know how to make it perfect. The great thing about this location and def compared to Starbucks, is they try to remember you and your drink order. They go above and beyond EVERYTIME, especially; Laura, Gabriel, Madison, Chas, Gabby, the girl who always has the cute earrings and the "love" girl who loves animals as mu h as me. Thanks guys!
