Conveniently located, easy to access and takes mobile orders! Service was fast & friendly. I visited mid afternoon on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all, totally quiet ambiance. I think I might have been the only guest in the store. I placed a mobile order as I left from the cafe across the street, walked right in and my order was ready to go. I got a warm chocolate chip cookie which hit the spot and a hot chocolate, along with a chai for my husband(on a very cold winter day). I had the pleasure of getting to bike to this Starbucks with my sister, and-wow. One of my best experiences at a Starbucks. They were very busy, but then what Starbucks isn't busy on a weekday morning, and there was a reasonably long line to order. (About 7 people) The line moved very quickly due to the incredible staffs help and I was to the front in less then 3 minutes. A stag member with a nametag that read 'Kenny' helped me. Despite having just dealt with a rush hour of customers, he was helpful and fast, and my order was up in no time at all. We sat outside and ate our food. I got a bagel and a cookies and cream cake pop, and my sister ( I ordered for her) got a ham and Swiss croissant and a pumpkin loaf. I came in hoping to find something to satisfy a little bit of my hunger and something to wake me up but I ended up leaving with a sour taste in my mouth. I placed my order in person at around 7:10 am and I received my two drinks about 5-7 minutes later I was just waiting for my cheese danish so I could leave. I saw many who placed there orders after me and receive there food orders before me. So I decided to ask one of the guys if my cheese danish had been sent out and maybe I hadn't noticed or maybe somebody has displaced it ( it happens and I understand because they're busy doing many things at once ) but the guy claims they were backed up on food orders so it would take a while. Okay. Understandable. At least it would have been understandable if I didn't continue to see people placing more food orders and still receiving them before me. At this point it's been over 30 minutes that I've been sitting there for a cheese danish and I've finished my drink I go up to the counter again but the gentleman I spoke to earlier ignores me completely but one of the guys there does look in my direction and I explain to him that I've been waiting for my order for over 30 minutes. He tells one of the other girls to warm it up and I finally receive it but I end up getting it with little black bits on the cheese which makes me think it was probably forgotten in the oven? Placed my mobile order. They didn't take my coffee sticker off of the printer for 25 minutes. I stood holding my hot breakfast for 20 minutes. They took almost every person in line ahead of the mobile orders. Not sure what the point of the mobile order is if you don't take it in the order it was placed. The teen guy making drinks was wiping his face multiple times with the back of his hand and throwing the drink making cups in the air to place them on the washing sprayer like he was in "Coyote Ugly" but hungover at 8am. They made the drink wrong too. I was patient bc they were busy but very disappointed to see all of the drinks made in front of the mobile. They were almost 10 minutes after estimated 15 min time to be ready. They don't seem like a typical Starbucks. No smiles except maybe one guy. read more

I come to this location regularly, its closer than going to Bend. I love the staff here, as they're always friendly and welcoming even when they have customers who have no feet in the real world. I have a milk allergy and this location seems to be the only location who double checks to make sure that I'm not being poisoned. ha ha. Its always clean in there, and even when lines are long - they do move quickly. Now, as to the customers, MOST I've seen are normal, cool people. The others "Bless their hearts". I understand its a tourist town but that's no reason to forget that it's coffee not a matter of life/death (This coming from a person with a caffeine addiction). and hello - EVERYONE is human. I visited this Starbucks on Sunday 3/21 around 11am and, after being told by the young woman working the register that I couldn't use points for my purchase due to the branch being an unaffiliated franchise or similar, I reloaded my Starbucks card with $20 cash as I only had $4.05 on it. I just discovered the $20 was NOT credited to my Starbucks card as I have a zero balance (and haven't used it since Sunday) - this means your staff person cleared the card and pocketed the $20. This looks and feels like a corporate Starbucks, but does not have normal Starbucks wifi and does not give digital rewards. They do have Sunriver wifi, which might have worked, but I did not try it. I was on a Starbucks promotion that counted on getting a certain drink and that did not register, so I looked it up and found such details do not get sent to Starbucks. Oh well, my bad. Ran to make it before closing and got there at 6:45. Doors were locked and person inside shook their head at me and tapped on their imaginary watch. I always go to Starbucks and have never have them close early or act that way. There's a lot of heat on people still buying on corporate companies and this makes me think twice and want to start buying coffee from local organizations only. Quite pleasantly surprised with my experience when I stopped in early on a Sunday morning. The place was nearly devoid of customers, but the staff was friendly and attentive without being forceful or phony. "We're here for a good time, not for a long time." Priceless quote from dude who took my order. While I waited for my beverage, I took in the really nice mural/photo montage on the wall detailing the history of Sunriver and its founder. I really enjoyed being reminded of how Sunriver came about, and what it still stands for -- it was established as an eco-friendly community way before that was a thing. I don't get why this place has such a bad rating. Yelp says that this place closes at 4:30, but that's only during the off season. When I came, it closed at 5. Service was great, friendly people and the coffee came out quickly. The drink was correct, nothing was messed up, but then again I ordered a Frappuccino and not tea, as many people seem to complain about. After walking 1 mile to the location with my baby and little sleep (hence the baby) I tied a blanket around my head that is much thicker than regular sewn face masks and covers much more. I was allowed to wait in the long line, all the way up to the second to the counter, when an employee told me I need an "actual" face covering. My face was covered more than my mask covers it that was in the wash. I'm very confused on what materials are and are not allowed to be face masks. This place needs some serious help, and it unfortunate that when staying at the sunriver resort, and you specifically want Starbucks, this is your only choice. I fully understand if some people are new and training, but for the week and a half I was at this resort, I would visit at least twice a day and each time it was issue after issue. Every barista is either new or was trained differently or not at all. When ordering, I would have to explain how the drink is made, and by day two I realized I would have to be one of those "watch how my drink is made" because I knew there would be a mistake. Simple drinks like Iced Teas, or Refreshers were literally butchered. I would catch them in the mistake and correct them. I know I shouldn't have to do that, but when the drink should be made and "hand crafted" a certain way then that's what the customer expects. For example. Trenta Mango Black Tea Lemonade. Black tea. Lemonade. Mango syrup. Ice. That's it, and the barista still managed to mess it up. It's not that I am all "high and mighty" it's just, as a regular Starbucks customer, like many, we grow to enjoying our particular beverage. Sweet baristas and a nice location. However, closing at 430 or 5 is just wild during the summer. I get it if you close early during the cold winter when we are all cozied up by the fire, but summer nights out here are magic and Starbucks should play along with us. Get ready, this place has a line out the door all day on the weekends, just plan for it bc you will spend 30 min just waiting in line, bumping into people coming and going through the little doors. If they had a bigger spot then they would be fine, but you can only fit so many people in a 6x6 space. Last they could use more outside tables for the unbelievable amount of dog lovers in the area. These people need to re learn how to make a black tea. I have taken my drink back twice because it tastes like water with sugar. They put a lot of water and no tea and also sweetened my drink when I said no sweetener. I will not be coming back here as a venti black tea is 3.25$ when at usual places it is 2.75$. We are tourists from California, and we were really getting a craving for Starbucks. We came in at around 10:30 AM and left at around 10:40 AM feeling great. The service was amazing, and the worker was very patient from beginning to end. This was especially impressive since my mom didn't even know what to order, so we were taking a while ordering. Went in on 02-06-2020 in the am and service was poor. We asked for a Mexican mocha and the cashier acted like we asked for the moon then replied we can't do that here. The baristas that helped us, Kierra and Haeli had major attitudes after payment problems arose due to their own mistakes. We asked if Apple Pay was available and she said yes so the transaction proceeded but didn't print a receipt so she assumed the card got declined. After she charged my card 3 more times for $25 then screamed to the entire cafe my card was declined, I paid cash. My card was in fact charged 3 times and when I brought this to their attention via online banking transactions on my phone the manger, Dasia told me I was wrong (I was not). Then the girls we're very rude and (I'm assuming) initially didn't fill up a couple of drinks and gave my family member the wrong milk after it was addressed that they are serious allergies and coconut milk is important. Sent my family member into an allergic reaction and left kids very disappointed that they used their own money to get half of a drink. Starbucks is normally great for customer service. Not this location! Ordered a Frappuccino for my son. A whole line of people who came in after us received their drinks long before us. Including other blended drinks. When I asked if my sons drink was forgotten I was told that his just "takes longer". I asked to speak with the manager and she said the same thing. Why should I have to explain how to ring up a quad grande Americano? You simply push the quad Americano button and it rings up the correct price of $3.25. But she insisted on adding a shot to the price, making it $4.05. I told her I've ordered these for years and the price is $3.25. As if 3.25 isn't already stupidly high, but it's an indulgence. But I digress... So I insisted, but she politely explained that other employees don't understand that you have to add a shot to a 4 shot Americano to get....4 shots. There are people on here who have rated this Starbucks in Sunriver poorly. As I live here I know a lot more than just visitors driving through. The store is fairly new and as all new businesses there is training of new people and getting a routine down. The people have grown and the little store is getting better and better. The people there work hard to please. But as this store is OWNED by SUNRIVER Resort, there are different rules in play than the regular Starbucks chain. So somethings this little store doesn't have what the regular chain has. Give the place a chance they are really good personable and friendly and try very hard to please those who give them a try. I am a very regular Starbucks patron. I was so excited that Sunriver was finally getting one. I have been a handful of times and each time get more unimpressed. The baristas are rude. It is complete chaos with multiple orders being made wrong and have to be remade. They have at least 8 workers behind the bar and I have witnessed them complain multiple times about "how many orders there were" or the eye roll when someone asked for a drink remake. I had a black tea- a very basic drink - and they added lemonade. When I asked for a remake the barista said "I made that and there is no lemonade in it." Then she turns around a sees the lemonade carton open and says "oops that was wrong." The customer is always right. It's bad enough that they close at 4:30...but the employees are in such a hurry to get out of there that they hawk the door at 4:25 and refuse to allow people in telling them "we are closed". This has happened to me and about 10 other customers 2 days in a row this week!!! We all stood in front discussing how ridiculous that was! Sunriver Resort owns this particular one, so I guess complaining to corporate Starbucks won't help. I will try lodging a complaint with the resort. This Starbucks is in Sunriver and easy to find. Ordered my usual black ice tea. Unsweet with no water and it kinda confused the cashier. They were not the fastest but they were friendly. I think the Trenta size I ordered was like $4.45 that is the most I have ever paid for one. They do need to get there pricing in line. read more

This makes all starbucks look terrible. It takes 10 minuets to order my drink cause there's a long like and 1 person on the register. After an additional 20 minutes waiting for two people to make my grande double chocolate chip frappacino they mess it up. This frappacino has no coffee but instead it tastes like they just threw a gallon of coffee in it. What doesn't help is that they close at like 5pm.
