I frequently go to Starbucks. This is not at all an experience I would want again. There was trash on the floor like someone was sweeping and forgot about it right next to the door. Then as I was looking at the baked goods at the counter an employee said excuse me and stepped in front of me. As someone who is very allergic to dairy, I just watched the barista pour dairy milk into my cup then pour it out then pour in right nondairy milk I had asked for when placing my order. My order came out wrong at first, then my Vanilla Latte was remade twice! I have never, in all the years of drinking Starbucks Coffee, sent a drink back. I didn't have a good experience with this Starbucks and will avoid them on future travels. (Past experiences here was not great either). Starbucks aught to start focusing on getting their drinks right across the country like it was 10 years ago. This location is consistently bad. They are never staffed correctly. Being they are right off of i10, you'd think they would have more than 3 employees working. It's always extremely busy here, but also extremely slower than average of other locations and the baristas don't seem to ever be in a hurry either. The baristas also always lack enthusiasm or good customer service. I come here because it's right next to my house, but I leave highly annoyed every time, and it's not often my drink is correct. They also have a bad habit of filling hot coffee all the way to the brim, even when asking for room, so it seeps out between the lid, causing even more irritation. They desperately need new management, and have been lacking for several years. read more

They had already cashed out their money for the night but since we pulled up, literally, a minute before closing time but they not only took our order pleasantly but gave it to us on the house. However, the girl on the front register was clearly trying to talk shit too much to remember that we ordered a pastry and when my husband went to ask for it she was very rude and got on the headset and began to talk shit again! My husband tried to kill her with kindness and just say thank you and she said yup.. like we bothered her to do her damn job. Probably the worst service I've experienced at Starbucks. They clearly are well staffed, yet my girlfriend and I felt like we were a bother. With absolutely no one line, we stood at the register for maybe a minute without a single greeting. Finally one of the literally 5 people behind the counter greeted us. Ahhh, the only problem... despite looking at us, she wasn't actually talking us. See, she was on a headset taking drive thru orders. One guy finally took our order and he was nice. I wish I had names for this crew (6/16/17 @5:15pm). My girlfriend's order was placed on the counter without a word said to her. I asked a barista if she was a manager, she said that she was not and asked what the issue was. I told her that their service stunk and she interrupted, "well...". At that point, I believe she realized her defensive tone wasn't quite what was needed. Too bad there isn't a 'zero star' option for their rating. read more

There is always a line at the drive through here because it's the busiest Starbucks in town (maybe the busiest in the state?). Even so they do a good job of getting your order complete in a timely manner. The drive through is convenient because it's right off the interstate. This is the most poorly managed Starbucks in the Tallahassee area. The service is inefficient and disorganized. Though having been there many times, there always seems to be a new face behind the counter - turnover is high (to me, an indication of poor management). I stopped there today. There were very few customers, about three inside (counting myself) and one or two in the drive-through, yet, with at least four or five Starbucks employees on duty they couldn't seem to get it together. I was in a hurry, so a kept it pretty simple - just a tall Latte' to go. It took an exceedingly long time, as the barista had no help from the other 3 or 4 staff behind the counter, one of whom was ordering herself a rather fancy drink that she partially made, then had the barista finish, and then proceeded to the end of the counter to drink and sort of half-hearted contributed to some tasks that had nothing to do with serving customers. At the same time, as the barista got further behind (did not seem very experienced to begin with), with the drive-through emptied out and three of us still waiting at the counter for drinks, the rest of the staff, instead of helping the barista, all started other tasks - taking out the garbage, puttering around back and forth to the back room, etc. I've been in this location many times because it's in a very convenient and prime location next to I-10 and Thomasville Rd., so, having experienced the inconsistent, often slow service before, I was hesitant to stop in there today, because, I was in a hurry with a number of other commitments on my plate. I really regretted the decision, because, I should have known better. So, a few pointers - 1.) do not tip at this location until AFTER you receive your order, 2.) consider going 3 miles North on Thomasville Rd. to the Starbucks at Thomasville & Kerry Forest Parkway, where the service is almost always excellent, and staff turnover far less, or, 3.) if you don't have time or want to go a few miles up the road, and you don't absolutely have to have a Starbucks, consider just going across the opposite side of the same plaza to the Brueggers, which has pretty decent coffee and service and good bagels of course. read more

Absolutely the slowest Starbucks drive thru I have ever been to (and I've been through a lot). You have to try to be that slow honestly. 2 stars because my order is correct about half of the time. Drove up & sat outside to use wifi & ordered. Walked inside a few times after getting a 3-7 min wait on my mobile order. After 23 minutes, and standing completely unnoticed for at least 11 of those minutes, it was discovered that the cashier had my cups sitting beside her. My paper order was sitting in front of me @ the pickup area still in the machine. The woman who finally got my order originally was going to refund my order after a gazillion ppl received their order but then didn't mention it again. I'll chalk it up to them being busy but I also saw the barista pick up a wad of receipt tabs which had been all over the floor, crumple it up, throw it away & not bother to wash his hands. He also dropped a cup, picked it up, steamed it out (as if he was actually going to continue to use it), THEN threw it away, among a few of the other oddities he did. It's the only Starbucks on this side of town but I might look for a different coffee shop after reading some of the other reviews & perhaps mgt should take note of my observations as well as the others. My order was right, but that's where the praises end. Having spent years as a barista and assistant manager at Starbucks, I can tell you that this location is not a good representation of the majority. The standard is (or was) 3 minutes from the time you get in line until the time you get your beverage. It doesn't matter how long the line is either. If the staff is competent, it is doable. We would have 16 cars in line at the drive thru and never miss the standard, so for them to take over 10 minutes to get me my drink with only 6 cars in line is pretty sad. Furthermore, when you're sitting in your car, waiting for longer than you'd like, it's a bad look to have the 2 girls covering the drive thru to just be standing by the window talking and joking. There is always a better use of time. Drink was ok, so I gave an extra (undeserved) star, but if you're trying to do anything quickly, choose another location. read more

The Starbucks is conveniently located, clean, and the baristas are really nice - too bad there are only 3 total employees in this location on a busy Saturday afternoon with a backed up drive thru and plenty of customers inside. From what I can see, the employees were busting their butts to serve a pretty significant demand and they apologized thoroughly for the inconvenience of waiting to be served. If Starbucks staffed adequate people, there wouldn't have been a long wait! THANK YOU to the nice girl who served my mom and I this past weekend - you are a sweetheart and we appreciate YOUR patience since it can't be easy to maintain such a positive attitude with that many cranky customers waiting. read more

I downloaded the Yelp app just so I could write this review! Worst customer service EVER!!! I have been on the road for 8 hours traveling from South Florida. I currently have another three hours to go. Was REALLY looking forward to a caramel frap as a little pick-me-up for the rest of my drive. Went into the women's restroom before ordering and immediately noticed how absolutely disgusting it was, plus, there was NO toilet tissue to be found. Told the assistant manager who said her name was Elizabeth (no name tag) that the restroom needed attention and she acted as if she could not care any less. I drive through here quite often and have always just gone through the drive through. NEVER AGAIN! If anyone from corporate reads this post I certainly would encourage you to take a closer inspection at this franchise. I do not think this is the image that Starbucks would like to have portrayed. read more
