Super cute breakfast spot! I had the bagel and cream cheese and egg bites and it was very delicious! They also make seasonal lattes that are very popular.

Cute little cafe with great seating options inside and out! The views around the location are very welcoming. We enjoyed all the food that we had! I had the Tomato bacon melt, which was served on a bagel with cream cheese! Yum! I was really looking for a good coffee...and my coffee was good but I asked about specialty coffees and I was just told the options of syrups. I see on the menu on Yelp many others listed, but these were not offered at the location so that was disappointing.

Thank you for such a yummy brunch: super tomato bagel : base of bagel, cream cheese, eggie, super 3strips of bacon ( I want to think applewood), topped with melted gruyere(?) . Please correct me if I got anything wrong . Like I said , super yummy food. Service and smiles galore Good food , good service , happy people, happy pets. Great location. Will be back! Gracias

The drinks were pretty good and interesting, you are able to customize whatever coffees or teas you get with 10+ flavors. The food was pretty good but with limited selection only 6 things to choose from but considering its a lunch and breakfast place, it makes sense. The ladies at the till were really nice and patience when it came to my mom's heavy accent, and the workers brought our food right to us pretty quickly, ~10 mins. The cafe is situated right under The Edison which is a pretty brick building, its looks like some sort of vintage warehouse in the middle of a pretty and social park and amphitheater.

Anytime I go to Cascades Park, I like to swing by the Power Plant. My favorite order right now is an iced cappuccino and a Hungry Tesla (bagel filled with all the breakfast meats). At $13ish, it's not the cheapest breakfast in town, but it's tasty and filling, and you can sit inside and watch tv or (my preference) sit outside and enjoy the view. You can order inside at the bar or outside at the window. They accept Apple Pay, so I don't even bring my wallet. The staff are super friendly and helpful and will bring your food to you if you don't feel like waiting by the window. They also sell beer, white claw, mimosas and even spiked milk shakes.

Nice cafe with beverages, flatbreads, bagels, and other treats. Good for a quick bite. Lucky Goat coffee and pretty good too. Nice view of the waterfall and the hotel across, nice ambience.

If you're looking for an all-in-one breakfast spot / cafe in Tallahassee, look no further. Great coffee, the breakfast wraps were from another planet, the smoothies were refreshing and nutritious, and if you're up for it you can even get a scoop of ice cream! The location is perfect as you can walk off the breakfast wrap in Cascades Park afterwards!

Very delicious food. Incredibly filling, serving sizes are worth the money. Also, both times I was here, the service was very quick. Please support this business!

This place has the best location. Right in cascades park, you can take a quick pit stop from a nice walk and get something to drink/munch on. Unfortunately, we had really poor service here. It took over 20 minutes for our breakfast sandwich. We would've cancelled the order and left but there was no one attending to customers. Hopefully, it was an isolated hiccup. I'd come back again to see if improved.

Five stars because I was able to camp out and get some solid work done with great fuel to boot. While seeking a coffeeshop to hunker down, Power Plant seemed like a good bet. With light streaming through the windows and outlets aplenty, I ordered a cold brew and prepared to conquer my inbox. After a couple hours, hunger pangs struck and I ordered a turkey and brie sandwich with chips on the side. They don't have a super extensive menu, but just enough to find something. They had an array of enticing baked goods to pair with my sandwich, but I resisted. Besides that, I really appreciated the water cooler, clean bathrooms, and friendly staff. I would totally return next time I'm in Tallahassee to hang out once again.

While on a walk through Cascades, stopped by for a bite to eat. I got the Tomato, bacon, cream cheese, and Swiss cheese sandwich, which I at first thought was gonna be a bagel. Oh how happy I was to learn it was a sandwich and packed with bacon and cream cheese. It was so good that a person in my group tried it and immediately went to buy another identically delicious sandwich. Lovely vibe outside with the fire pits and cascade view. Too bad there's still loud construction in front, but that'll be done soon too.

The pictures are from a recent event they did to showcase Monkey Shoulder whisky. They also now offer charcuterie boards from Little Paris, a restaurant nearby. A nice addition! But here's what's really great about the Lounge: if you aren't sure what brand or type of liquor you might want to buy or try, ask for a flight. We wanted to explore various toed of gin and they poured us a flight of different brands. But more than that, they poured it for us straight up and with tonic so we could try then both ways. Then, since they are part of and connected to the liquor store, we could go next door and buy the gins we liked. Pretty cool and very convenient.

Though you cannot enjoy a cigar inside they have a nice covered area outside the lounge. Spirit availability was impressive for the size lounge. I was interested in Redbreast Irish Whiskey and they had 12, 15, and wow 21!!! The lounge inside was what I consider small, bar seating, and some table and comfortable chairs. The outside area was covered. Comfortable chairs with tables and ashtrays to handle about 25+/-. Two TV's. There are standing fans and heaters. There was no service to the outside area, so you picked-up your choice of spirit and got comfortable outside. We enjoyed our spirit and cigars with no one complaining about the smoke. It happened to be a very rainy night and the north area was a bit flooded, but no leaks from above. Pro Great selection of spirits. Cigar and I think cigarettes, evidence by butts in the ashtrays, are allowed outside. The inside lounge was very clean, as well as the two unisex bathrooms. Con The flooded area was unfortunate, but there was only three of us, and it didn't cause an issue. The Ashtrays had been mostly emptied, but not wiped down. Really not inviting to rest your cigar on a dirty ashtray. An easy wipe with a microfiber goes a long way. Not really a Con, but there was no Service outside on the Tuesday night we visited. Overall a nice experience for a dreary night. My friends and I will return, hopefully on a nicer evening. Note: If you don't bring your own cigar, the liquor store has a small selection available right next door.

I had recently heard that this place is a Michelin notable and now I know why. Don't be fooled by the nondescript, gray exterior, the inside is adorable and cozy. Valet is complementary which is a nice touch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Service is incredibly quick from the time you order to when you receive your meal. Food was absolutely delicious. Hubby and I ordered a few appetizers as well as the chefs tasting menu and it did not disappoint. The appetizers we chose were the charred octopus and the fire roasted oysters. Both were wonderful but the octopus was a standout. For the tasting menu, it changes daily and is 4 courses with a dessert course to round out the meal. Ours happened to include: Sausage w olive tapenade, Filet w tomato and veggie chow chow (so tasty), Duck tostada w avocado crema, Elk filet w hasselback potatoes and asparagus (show stopper), and Orange rice pudding w pistachio cookie crumble which was such a nice, light way to end the meal. One thing to note: they automatically add 18% gratuity to your bill which is split between all front of house and back of house staff. Anything you leave above this will go directly to your waiter. There is a card they leave when they drop off the bill that explains this more eloquently than I am but I found it to be unique that they openly discuss it instead of adding it to the bill with no notice or explanation.

**Review: Solid Steak Dinner at The Edison**…read more I had a pleasant dinner at The Edison recently and walked away satisfied, especially with the food. Service was just okay--nothing terrible, but the appetizers definitely took longer than expected to come out. That said, our server was genuinely good: friendly, knowledgeable, and checked on us at the right moments without being overbearing. The appetizers were worth the wait. Both the fried green tomatoes and the crab appetizer were excellent--fresh, flavorful, and nicely executed. For the main course, the steak was spot-on: tender, well-seasoned, and cooked exactly as ordered. The potatoes that came with it were also really good--creamy and tasty without being heavy. We ended the meal with the bread pudding, and it was one of the best parts of the night. It was done perfectly: warm, moist, and full of rich, comforting flavor that didn't feel overly sweet. All in all, The Edison delivers on the food front. If you're after a reliable steak with some standout starters and a strong dessert, it's a solid choice. Ambiance was good, love the historic building. I'll definitely be back for the steak and bread pudding. Recommended!
