My husband went into Gamestop next door. It was time for my afternoon caffeinated beverage so I made my way into Starbucks. The baristas behind the counter greeted me and were so kind! I got my usual Starbucks order. A venti iced coffee with sugar free vanilla and room for cream. While my drink was being made, I made my way to use the ladies room. Not to sound mean but I appreciate that they lock the bathrooms and only allow guests to use it. It was clean and orderly. It was nice to use a bathroom that didn't have toilet paper all over the floor or used paper towels that didn't make it into the trash can. My fabulous drink was waiting for me when I came out. It had a lovely note on it which I adore! I added my half and half and a packet of sweetner. Just what I needed to pick me up after shopping all afternoon. My drink was perfectly made! The barista said good bye to me and used my name. How kind of her to address me instead of just saying bye or saying nothing. It's crazy that this location has such a low rating. I enjoyed my time and my definitely my drink from this location. I don't know if I'll be back anytime soon but I will most definitely stop in if I am! read more

First let me say I'm a huge Starbucks fan. I did a mobile order and when I arrived the store temporarily closed. There were employees inside cleaning??? We left and I called to see how to get a refund on my mobile order. The guy told me I could come to the drive through window so that is what we did. Then he chastised us and told us that next time we needed to stop at the speaker to let them know we are there for a pick up. Today on Pride (June 5th), Starbucks in Salt Lake did the correct thing: Closed the Drive Thru. Everything was about the Customer & yes mobile orders. It was friendlier and welcoming. Too bad Taylorsville is using their sign as a crutch inside of having 5 people and not working as a crew. Very nice Starbucks location. They have a drive thru which is convenient. The restrooms and the store itself is very clean. Especially since the restrooms are unisex, yet it was spotless. I much rather travel my next 20 miles to pay for my drink rather than getting horrible service! Getting yelled at by 2 employees at the same time for trying to place my drive through order only because i didn't not hear them when they asked to hold was so uncalled for! However, I do need to point out that there is one girl that runs the drive-through sometimes and she is just a total asshole to people. it's sad cause this Starbucks is amazing. Always treats me so good and nails my order but today at 10:30 am the girl running the drive through just has a really bad attitude. Especially after you throw someone a $5 tip for $14 of Starbucks you should be treated better. She's the type that acts put out when you ask for a straw. There are 2 other drive through gals that are AMAZING!!! So I won't give a low rating but maybe stick this girl on barista so she's not customer facing cause starting the day off with a coffee is usually the best way but not a coffee and some attitude for no reason. It's so unfortunate that a person representing a brand that promotes inclusivity can treat a customer so poorly. Morgan refused a refill for my husband's plain hot coffee insisting he was wrong about the current Covid refill policy. He went on to purchase a new pike roast when Starbucks own website says "While the usual space for customers to enjoy refills is unavailable, we will still honor the refill policy in the Drive Thru." He's not confrontational at all and preferred not to be humiliated. His mistake was he didn't go through the drive through but she didn't not offer that information and was unwilling to help or offer a reason why he couldn't get a refill. We followed the rules, it was purchased earlier in the day through the app in a mobile order at that same location.
