Well the names of the lattes took me my surprise but I definitely loved the sinner. The beans one day felt burnt, but otherwise it was good. The short bread cookies are a yummy treat with the coffee as well. They don't make the food items in house which I think was the downfall. I tried the burrito and honestly thought it wasn't great. I bought beans to bring home and we got the dark roast- they're excellent and I love those! Service was great - super friendly and patient with me as I decided what I wanted. I work at the U hospital up the street, their drip coffee proves to be better than the drinks I get here. I like to give it a shot every now and then but I always am disappointed with the drinks. Their food is good though! The parfait I ordered was fresh and yummy. Today I got the saints latte and the sugar free syrup doesn't pair well with the coffee. Service was fast and no issues there. My all time favorite coffee shop, hands down. I grew up going here, and every time I'm back in Utah this is my first stop. My order is usually simple, but perfect every time. I've tried nearly everything on the menu and I have nothing but amazing things to say. From the seasonal drinks, the croissants, the protein balls, to the simple sunrise tea or iced vanilla latte, I can always count on enjoying Bjorn's. I love this place! I usually come here on my way to work (out of the way) because the espresso is absolutely the best here. Today was different though. I ordered my usual drink, it was made incorrectly, the barista told me it was right. I tried it and got back in line to get what I ordered. They did make a new drink, however, it was also wrong. We were visiting from out-of-town on our way to visit some famous spots in Salt Lake. They had a line of cars at their drive-thru, but we did not wait very long. I ordered their seasonal February drink for Valentines Day called Sweet Lovin' (with oatmilk). The employee who was taking orders went inside and came out about a minute later with a piping out delicious cup of coffee flavored with lavender and blackberry. It was the perfect pick-me-up on a cold winter morning. I didn't taste much blackberry flavor but the lavender was not too strong and "perfumey." Great spot. This was next to my hotel so I had to try it. They had a convenient walk up window and based on reviews about the dog loving aspect, I brought my pup and they gave her a huge biscuit. I just drink black, strong coffee and that's exactly what this was. So, fits the criteria for me of good strong coffee, right price, and right COVID service. I am super cautious about COVID and will not go into a restaurant right now so this was perfect. I wore a mask at the walk up counter and the employees all had masks; I could I see most people doing drive thru wore a mask while ordering. (Please wear a mask whenever you go for at least for the 20 seconds you are interacting with an employee! I can't believe how many people don't do this just because it's a drive thru!) Anyways, the drive thru line had two lines in it and seemed easy on and off from Foothills. Will def go back since I am staying at this hotel for a little while and it's right next door! As you might can tell from the logo, Bjorn's is very pet friendly. Ask for a punch card to support the various animal charities they donate to. If you have your pup with you be sure to ask for a dog biscuit too! The stuffed croissants are humungous and come out piping hot. The ham and cheese was my personal fave, and the basil in the tomato egg and cheese was a nice touch. Bjorn's also offers specialty lattes, frappes, and even protein shakes. I've heard about this coffee shop for quite awhile from friends who live in the area, so I took a mini road trip and drove about an hour to give my thoughts! They included a cute little shortbread cookie on my lid, and's it was such an experience on its own! I ended up ordering the smallest size hot chocolate for my 3 year old and he loved it! His also included a cookie! I ended up paying 8$ before tip which was perfect for the 2 drinks! Originally I had assumed this would be a little sit down cafe, but it didn't seem like a place patrons could walk into, but that was completely fine ! The parking around the shop was adequate to meet up with my friends and sip on our coffee. It's also in the same parking lot as a hotel, I'd assume those who are staying in the hotel are staying there to go skiing/snowboarding, so keep this shop in mind! Didn't have a good experience at Bjorn's Brew on Foothill Blvd. on Wednesday, Feb 12, 2025. The server got the size wrong on the berverage order and when I asked if it was the correct size, the young lady told me, "No, it and isn't,' and curtly added, she'd pour it in a smaller cup and refund the difference, if that's what I wanted. Also, ordered a gift card; it's sratched, beat up and clearly used, and when I asked for a card that wasn't used, I got the same repsonse, she'd give me a refund. My purchases were a gift, so I choked down the inconsiderate service and delivered the items to the recipient, who wouldn't know the difference. But, I know the difference. I might mention, I was the only car present at the time, so 'too busy' isn't an excuse. I prefer to patronize local businesses, but there are other coffee shops within a mile. First impression was that they had beautifully decorated the place. I mean the dog and animal photos. They made me smiled so much. It was just too cute, but then the staffs were also super duper friendly. We ordered a cup of coffee to share as it was getting late and did not want to be too amped up on the caffeine,but it was flavorful and it came with a biscuit! they offer and array of goodies and even have treats for your doggies. I love this coffee shop! It's my go to, whether I am just out and about early or grabbing a bite before I head out for a hike. The croissants are amazing, and the service is fast and friendly. I hope soon they go back to accepting travel cups, though, or at least get a new lid design for hot coffees -- mine from this morning dripped all over me and nearly ruined a great outfit. My Dirty Vanilla Chai was way way way too sweet. I requested it Dirty, the espresso flavor didn't cut through perhaps because it was just too Vanilla. Thank you, next. The guy who took my order and rang up my card was also sweet but not too sweet, that was great. I was on my way to go hiking in Millcreek and wanted to grab a quick iced drink for a pick me up. I was craving sweet, but not too sweet. Matcha?? Oo.... would they have it? The curiosity peaked. The next thing I knew, I was pulling up to the drive-thru like an addict in need of their next fix. Matcha they do not have here. "No, but we do have Green Tea Lattes." That didn't sound like enough of a compromise to me, I wanted something stronger with bit more girth. How much caffeine does the chai have? "Not a lot, but we can add a shot of espresso to make it a Dirty Chai." Oo... okay. So we went with the Dirty Vanilla Chai. The complimentary and cute dog bone shaped cookies are a charming little touch, I almost forgot about those. I like what this establishment stands for. So I took a chance. It didn't work out. Speaking of things that didn't work out. A few years ago, my ex would surprise me with drinks and breakfast from Bjorn's all the time. I remembered I LOVED the croissant sandwiches. It was a symphony of warmth, gooey cheese, and toasted perfected. Years later, at some point along the way, the croissant sandwiches were just not the same anymore. The last time I ordered a croissant sandwich on my way to go skiing, half of the croissant was burnt and inedible while the cheese and ham inside were cold. I didn't realize it until I was halfway up the canyon, and it was too late to turn back around. Heartbreaking. So I stopped getting them. I moved away. I almost forgot about this place. Now I'm back in area. The Proximity Principle is a blessing and a curse. I pass Bjorn's everyday on my commute to and from work. Maybe some things are better left in the past. Do not expect consistency at this coffee house, on Thursday the 13th of October we thought hmm let's try a new coffee house, we got a caramel frappe, it was the best frappe I ever had and I am a 3 to 4 time a week visitor to beans and brews or Starbucks, so on Sunday the 16th of October we stopped there at 6:45am and got the same drink that we got Thursday afternoon, it was the most BITTER coffee drink I have ever had. I have had strong espresso coffee's, but this was beyond espresso. I spent $17.00 dollars on 2 drinks that we both literally drank 2 swallows and dumped down the drain. They need to better train their baristas on making it consistent because this was going to be my new 3 or 4 time a week coffee house and I will never return to it now, I went from super excited to very disappointed in 3 days. I basically live here. They saved me during the quarantine year. Some days all we did was throw the dogs in the car just to drive to Bjorns to get coffee and dog treats. Their staff is ALWAYS on point. I don't think I've ever seen a business operate so consistently! ALWAYS friendly, ALWAYS had their masks on, Always offered my dogs treats and most important...always for my drink exactly right! This is truly my favorite place in all of Utah. Quick drive thru, great coffee, and delicious breakfast. Rolling through the area after an early morning meeting and since I've dropped by before the line of cars didn't concern me. I pulled up and in no time was ordering my go-to, an iced americano, and a vanilla latte for my wife. We also tried the croissant breakfast sandwiches (I had the tomato, egg, and cheese) which were fantastic--though be warned...the croissants are super flaky so watch out if you pull into one of the many parking spots to eat in your car! Driving off of Foothill looking for coffee, decided to try Bjorn's. The building looks awesome, the menu isn't too complicated. I also like how quick and efficient they are. The two lane concept makes it very quick and easy. Not sure if it was me or not, but I orrded a 20oz coffee with vanilla + almond milk. The coffee was extremely hot, took about 30 minuets to cool down to even drinking temp. And my coffee tasted very watered down. Not sure if They gave me a light roast. I was definitely not satisfied with my coffee. Bu if I am ever in tge area I would give them another shot..it's only fair!
