We always hit Buc-ee's but on this rainy day we chose the Starbucks across the street. A bit tricky to park with the drive through lane wrapping around the enclosed parking lot (only one exit/entrance) but scored the last spot and it was right by the door. Mobile ordered from parking spot and I will say, they were quick in making our drinks. Sadly, paid $7 for flat hot milk with a token bit of foam on top (definitely it was not a cappuccino) but, well, I can't blame the barista who probably wasn't properly trained in the art of steaming milk and of course I know better than to expect that anymore. Sigh. Unisex bathrooms fine (paper towels no hand dryer) except my husband's didn't lock and a guy walked in on him and then practically tried to break in to my bathroom (did apologize when I walked out.) Would love to see every Starbucks change out all of their locks with the ones that show "occupied/unoccupied" and I'm sure the employees would love it too! We were greeted with a hello and the same barista bid us farewell too which was nice. Really no problems here, but nothing spectacular either. My hot espresso milk did end up tasting quite good. read more

I have stopped here a few times and today was not their best day. I was fifth car inline at 3:10. It took forever to get to speaker and then to the window. I ordered a Medicine Ball tea and was told they didn't make so I asked for the honey citrus tea--same thing. On a positive note: tea is not as expensive as coffee and despite wait the product was good. read more

I've stopped at this location multiple times. They've gotten my drink wrong on several occasions to the point where it was undrinkable & I had to buy another from the Starbucks by the outlets. I always repeat my order to them & somehow it still ends up incorrect. Also, the cashier does not know how to do simple math. I gave her the bill then a few seconds later went to hand her the exact change, but she said "oh I already put it in the computer". All she had to do was give me $9 back & her drawer would not have been short. I guess she can't do simple math without the computer telling her the total. I asked for ground Java chips in my drink one time & was told " I don't have a way to grind them without it being in a frappe so they have to be whole". But I went to the Starbucks down the street & they were able to grind them?? I never leave bad reviews for any business but this is my first. read more

I can understand why this Starbucks has only 3 stars. I walked in to make a purchase. Initially I walked in and the barista is facing away from the door because having conversations with co-workers is more important than greeting customers. When I asked if there were any other bistro boxes in the back, he stumbled over his words and said they were for tomorrow. I don't know if he was just being lazy but that had been the first time being told that. They only had 2 cheese and fruit and I was looking for the ones with eggs. Finally, a Starbucks in close proximity to Buc-cees! This is a big deal, considering that the SBUX brand is few and far between when traveling into East Texas. Brand new, spacious, and around other traveler faves such as WhatABurger and Chick-A-Fila. What's not to love about this arrangement? Minus one star for not being ready to rumble at 5:30 AM. Usually, Starbucks opens at 5 AM. The very fine brunette barista even admitted to me that she wasn't a morning person when it comes to working this shift. Gotta get used to hit, baby! After waiting in line, 5 cars immediately pulled up behind me.... at 5:33 AM. Its Starbucks, and a good one. We spoiled SBUX afficianados don't expect anything less in quality. And certainly not Buc-cee's coffee (holding my nose). My must-stop when traveling on I-20 East! read more

Sammie and haylee said that I could only use my points for one drink with a crappy attitude after some younger guy with blonde hair came to the window. And didn't even say anything. He just walked away after we waited like 20 minutes in line to even get this order. It was like they were totally more interested in chit chatting with each other than to serve the people. When my husband said he wanted to use his points he was like oh you have like 150 stars? My husband said no. He had 473... the guy looked like some how he held up the Starbucks bank for stars! Like WTF??? Omg. This is one place that will absolutely never get my business again. I should have totally looked at the reviews before I came here or just got some coffee from buc-ee's. This place is trash. And I am going to cancel my chase starbucks visa because I no longer want to deal with the stupidity of this specific location!!! This guy didn't even want to give me a receipt. Great service and my drink was perfect. I drink a chai latte with a shot of espresso, trust me people can make this really bad! But, they made it great and were super nice. I have been in this store before on a promotion day where the thin plastic cups were $1. They were extremely busy and dealing with a customer being irrational and just mean. They were all professional and worked as fast as they could. The cafe is always clean. The food is fresh and good. I ordered my first pumpkin item of the season(yes, I'm one of those) and it was a scone. It was not dried out as some scones can be. It was perfect with my chai. I like this store, as it is bright, lots of natural light and places to sit - inside and out. While not their largest store, it is a clean and brand new , has ample parking, free WIFI, a drive thru and good service. Interestingly enough, they took down their ENTIRE COFFEE MENU inside - and replaced it with an advertisement for Blonde Espresso - which I found to be an interesting choice. read more

I work at a Starbucks so I understand that things can get stressful but considering their drive thru is closed and I was the only person in the store I'm pretty disappointed it took so long for anyone to acknowledge me. I watched someone stand at the oven for a minute (typically at my store we would help the customer while something is heating up) and two partners just having a conversation at the end of the bar. Finally after 3 minutes I just had to walk up and interrupt them to ask for my mobile order that was right behind them. Just not a good look for starbucks. read more

The Starbucks where we used to live did free birthday drinks if you show ID. We recently moved so I drove 20 minutes to treat myself to a bday drink. Told the guy in the drive thru. He seemed to be in a rush and said I'd have to download the app and theres not exactly a way for me to do that in the drive thru so that'll be $5.57... I think I can do without. Went up there tonight and they say they don't allow people who don't work there in there but they had some of their friends in the lobby I know they're friends because one of the boys with black and bold hair was playing with the girls and she actually end up throwing an ice cube and since the drive through window it actually hit our truck. I get y'all may be young but damaging peoples properties is not ok grow up. Just to add it wasn't any of the other workers playing around it was just the one boy with the bold and hair. read more

The great resignation has legs!!! The family is on the way to Fort Worth, I wanted my regular, Americano w/ some extra items, indoor service was not available, call ahead was not available, only drive-thru. I went into drive-thru read out what I wanted. Sticker on drink was correct, I was charged the correct amount, but I only had an Americano, not what I ordered. Person taking orders, did not sound like she wanted to be there. I get it, super busy its a HWY stop, you are short staffed, I had stopped at another SBUX, in Alabama, short staff too, but I asked for things the least you expect is to complete what was requested, that is part of your job in food service. After my failed experience, a reminder from Lethal Weapon 3, Leo Getz, tells Rigs and Roger, never use the drive thru, you will get * * * I get it now.
