This is the best Starbucks around. Whenever I feel like drinking a Starbucks drink this is the location I drive to. I usually do their drive through, which is fast and friendly was most important is that they also get my order right! My drinks are always delicious! Today I walked in and was able to see the inside and it's clean and spacious! It's nice to know I can enjoy my drink inside as well. Most of the time I'm headed somewhere when I stop to get a drink, but I think I'll come in and actually sit down to enjoy my drink next time I'm here!

New Starbucks from drive-thru lane view.

Hey, I'm confused on some of the reviews for this location going back to the summer. As I recall, this was recently constructed, and only opened within the past month or so. Thus, the reviews from June/July seem to be for a different store?? In any event, Dear Hubby and I spent a really delightful afternoon and early evening in Ventura on Saturday. The weather was absolutely perfect - warm, but not hot. No wind, and we were happy to escape the Santa Anas further inland. We started out walking around downtown, checking out various stores and having a fabulous cupcake at Peirano's. Then on to Harbor Village for an early dinner and a stroll around the waterfront. We proceeded to check out the new Starbucks to finish a promotion with a Frappuccino order. We wanted to see what this new location was like. The best way to enter is to come from the northwest, heading toward the 101 on Main Street. Turn right on Mills Road and go past the gas station, then enter to the left. Since traffic can be intense on Main Street, it's easier to enter that way than to try to find the correct driveway directly off Main Street through the gas station. Negotiating the drive-thru lane feels a little bit like the roadways on the Autopia in Disneyland, as they designed a winding track to hold more cars in a tiny overall lot. The landscaping in between the lane and modern-architecture building is interesting to see while you wait for your order to be made. It's newly planted, but should fill in quickly. The gentleman taking the orders and then interacting with us to serve our beverages was very pleasant and professional, with a friendly demeanor. We didn't go inside, but I could see in through the window that they have a throwback exposed ceiling beams design. One day when we have more time, we'll have to actually go inside. The Frappuccino was made exactly as I'd ordered. Thumbs up for that from a newer location that's probably still in a bit of a shakedown cruise mode. Exiting back to Main Street can be tricky, as cars heading to the northbound onramp to the 101 may be streaking by rapidly. You can return to Mills Road and use the light to cross Main Street going north, or turn left to head toward downtown Ventura. If you're going north, it's definitely freeway-adjacent / convenient.

Today, we visited Starbucks. I ordered the black tea with 2 Splendas. It was really light colored. The batista said she would change it up for me. I said, "It's ok." She said, "Next time, say do not add water.." I will do this at this location. I've never had to say that before. Hubby ordered a plain black coffee. He took a sip and he said it burned his lip. His bottom lip is burnt. I'm still giving this place 4 stars. This location has potential.

Worst matcha I have EVER had!! We ordered through the app since we are heading back home from a roadtrip, and to our surprise the drinks were ready super quickly. First off the cold foam was wrong on one of the drinks, but that was something we were willing to overlook. As we started drinking, we were met with bitter clumps of matcha powder. There were very obvious clumps of powder on the outside of the cup, I even tried hand blending it myself with a straw. I don't know if it was their first day, or if they just weren't awake at 7:30 AM, but it was a waste of $15.

Blocked outlet, because Starbucks is to "cheap" to offer this service!

How stupid of a design. Apparently, this brand new, built from the ground up, StarBucks location has refused to offer outlets for patrons to charge their devices whilst they sit and drink their expensive lattes. "Drink your damn coffee and get the hell outta here!!" is the inhospitable message being sent. The only outlet in the customer dining area is blocked, and the table that has a charging symbol on it has never worked. So, if you are looking for better service, and the ability to charge your device whilst enjoying its ambiance, I would recommend Coffee Bean just down the street at the corner of Main and Telegraph. Getting ready to pack up, and never return. Even the birds when they fly over this Starbucks cry, "cheap, cheap, cheap!", and they ain't talkin' about the coffee!!

Super slow and unfriendly service. Your best bet is using the drive thru. Not kid friendly either. Go down the street to the other Starbucks

I would've liked to try one of the yummy looking croissants they had available from Pinyon but the people in front of me got the last one! After a couple of minutes, my order came out. Once I swirled everything together, I thought there was a good balance of everything! The syrup, the coffee, and the milk. It was a nice pick me up for the hot day ahead. Unfortunately I was unable to locate the WiFi password and I didn't want to bother the two employees that appeared to be pouring coffee with love. I had an iced coffee cold brew with almond milk. A cold coffee in a glass cup makes such a difference in how cold the drink gets and the presentation. The latte was amazing! Perfect temperature. I went for the chocolate croissant, it was amazing! Little hint of salt sent it over the top. Just wish there was a warming option

I had an early morning and it was chilly, so I was excited to be able to get a warm caffeinated beverage. I ordered a matcha latte here with oat milk. Overall, I was underwhelmed. The matcha flavor was barely there and it tasted a bit watered down. My drink also tasted a bit grainy, which was unusual. While I finished it, I can't say I enjoyed it. My husband ordered a black coffee and thought it was good though! When I came on a Saturday morning, the line was long but it moved quickly. Service was standard. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way for this spot, however, if you're looking for a quick spot before hopping on the ferry, I'd avoid the matcha and stick to the coffee!
