Dislike Starbucks but stopped here to score major hubby/dad points on the way to Busch Gardens. Apparently, they have new offerings and this was the only location in CoVA that hadn't sold out of Pistachio latte. Ordered and paid easily en route via Starbucks app. (Mine? Gross, no, totally theirs.) Both ladies enjoyed their bevs; wife's new go to is cold brew w white mocha sauce, sweet cream cold foam, and caramel drizzle. Ready on arrival. They do NOT have a drive thru so you'll need to score a parking spot in the shared lot and hoof it inside. I'm all for making my coffee at home or patronizing a local coffee shop, but sometimes I just want Starbucks. This location is the only one consistently making excellent drinks. I honestly don't think there's been a time I've been unhappy - the drinks are always at least good, and more often than not excellent. The only time I've ever not liked a drink was when I ordered something new on the menu that just isn't my type of thing. I had probably my best drink yet over the weekend. I like the nitro cold brew, and occasionally I indulge and get it with the salted honey cold foam. Some locations make it and there's not any foam at all, no flavor, screw up the nitro cold brew. Not this place. In fact, the nitro was perfectly smooth, plenty of the flavored foam on top with so much rich flavor. Almost buttery, and it blended and layered perfectly with the coffee. Here i am...again...reviewing a chain. But this SB is different. Maybe my usual SB just treats me like crap, so I'm not used to "standard" behavior of a "normal" SB, but this one is alright with me. It's pretty big with way more bakery and food options than I'm used to, and NOTHING was out of stock. The baristas were almost a pleasant as CFA employees. The point is, it just threw me for a loop! I usually have no complaints at this location, it's one of my favorite Starbucks!! But the last few times I've mobile ordered from them my drink has been way off. I do order a more complicated drink, however, it didn't seem to be a problem these last 6 months I've been ordering it until these last few weeks. It's just disappointing to be expecting something and it be the complete opposite. The drink wasn't even filled all the way and the cold foam was almost nonexistent as well as there being no ice. I know there has been a lot of stress on the food community since Covid hit so I'm trying to be as understanding as possible, but it's been twice in a row now. Just sad. :( read more

This Starbucks location is conveniently located near Williamsburg, Busch Gardens. It's in the shopping center of the Williamsburg Market place. Directly beside the Shell gas station. It's extremely spacious and they even have two huge wooden tables that sits a party of 6. It's rare to enter into a Starbucks that can accommodate a huge party. Also with Bar side seating and a vast amount of comfy chairs. It makes it a perfect place to hit before heading or leaving the theme park. I'm sure it gets packed here with the many visitors due to its location. But there was no line for me to order. Only problem is that the people behind me didn't know where the line started because they had no line sign. My regular order of green tea latte came quickly along with the new featured latte "Tuxedo Mocha." This is going to my usual stopover before I hit Busch Gardens.. read more

It's one thing to make coffee badly, it's another to be a snob about it. The staff on our 1/4/19 4:00pm visit were aloof and brusque. I asked for a size larger than Grande(the only size and price depicted on their menu board) and the cashier made a comment that it's 'a coffee shop not a 7-11'. Ummmm, okay. Next, the "barista" made me a grande latte instead of a venti, and when I saw her mistake, her resolution was to pour it into a venti cup and just top it off with additional milk. One of my favorite locations in the Williamsburg!!! It always feels warm and inviting. The employees show amazing customer service with a smile. The drinks and food are correct on the first time and always taste great. I witnessed a customer just being rude to them for no reason and the employee was friendly, apologetic, and offered to remake the food since they put the wrong tag on it. That to me shows accountability. However that customer was rude, lied to her kids and husband that there was no apology or offered to fix the situation. And proceeded to start it back up again as she was leaving to the same employee. read more

It is a bit overpriced, but I go for the community of men and our 6:30 am meet up. Since the meet-ups have become political, we no longer go. I stop by for a black coffee every once in a while, but have forgone the weekly meetings. There are better places for coffee in Williamsburg, VA. read more

Probably the largest Starbucks I've visited. Nicely decorated with plenty of seating and tables. We had a little bit of a wait for our order to be taken since I only saw 2 people working behind the counter. I've seen more people in much smaller stores. Waited an even longer time after the order. Good thing the seats were comfy. The barista was apologetic and thanked a couple people for waiting, but I'd probably look for another coffee place when we're back in town...maybe. The coffee was really good. My husband wanted me to mention that the barista dropped a spoon on the floor and didn't wash his hands after picking it up b4 continuing to make his coffee. Overall a pretty solid Starbucks, granted without a drive thru window. This became my "go to" Starbucks in the last year I was in Williamsburg. I found it to be consistent in making drinks. And I love the layout inside. One of the largest I've been to, and tons of cozy lounge chairs, which I love. Given that it is close to Busch Gardens, it gets incredibly busy on weekends when the park is open, particularly in the late morning and late afternoon. On weekday mornings, however, it's generally less busy than the one near New Town. There is always a group of retirees from Kingsmill chatting about the news in the mornings, which I've found to be pretty amusing. For many, the fact that there's no drive thru is a turn off. I rarely use one at Sbux, so that hasn't been an issue for me. Service has been an issue at times, and I've experienced wait times as much as 20 minutes on busy weekends. Overall, however, it served me well while I was in the area. read more

This is very large Starbucks and probably needs to be because it's close to Busch Gardens amusement park. This location also tends to be very busy when Busch Gardens is open. They carry lots of accessories here if you need to take home a travel mug, cup, canister or other coffee related products with the Starbucks logo. I got a very nice stainless mug with a leather type material sleeve for easy holding. It's also dishwasher safe. For some reason all of the Williamsburg S-bucks are off the beaten path and a liitle hard to find if you don't know your way around. This one's not easy to see if you're in heavy traffic and there are lots of trees blocking the view from the street. read more

My mobile order drink came out about 15 minutes late after being pushed to the back of the line a good bit because the barista did not know how to make it. Instead of offering a comped drink like other locations usually offer for minor inconvenience, I got a mumbled apology for the wait. The reason I give three stars is because this does seem to be a bit of an anomaly and usually the drinks are prompt. read more

This is one of the favorite Starbucks I've been to. Although it is clearly a Starbucks, it's not the same cookie-cutter shop you usually find. I'm a student in Williamsburg, so I come here often to study. It is very large, with a variety of seating. There are comfy chairs and couches, a long table for large groups, and lots of smaller tables. It can get crowded during the day and on the weekends, but because it's so large you shouldn't have any trouble finding a seat. read more
