I was staying nearby in the town of Williston. I came here a couple of times to get coffee and food. It was easy to find at the corner of Connor Way and St George Rd at Maple Tree Place. While the parking lot was pretty packed both times that I was there, I was still able to find a vacant spot. My first visit was on a late afternoon on a Saturday. I ordered a tall flat white and a ham & Swiss on baguette. My other visit was on a Sunday morning after I had checked out of my hotel. I got my usual tall flat white and did some work before heading to the airport. The coffee both times were on par with Starbucks quality. Same with the food. I was trying to order a HOT pumpkin cream chai latte because it's 40 degrees outside. The barista that was helping me was nice, but he said he didn't know how to ring that up. So he asked CORY... Cory flippantly says add it like a chai and then add everything else separately and walks away. He adds pumpkin sauce, something else, cold foam, oat milk, etc and it comes up to more than I paid a couple days ago. I inquired if others are ringing it up wrong or is it just more because it's hot? A SIMPLE QUESTION. Cory comes back over interrupts and says very rudely "WE DONT DO THAT HERE" -- "Do what" -- "We're not going to change the price because you want us to!" "What! I'm genuinely confused as to what he's talking about and why he's talking to me so nasty!! He says "if you want to make all these changes, you're going to get charged for it!" I stop talking to ignorant Cory at that point bcuz wtf are you even talking about? You didn't come over and ASK a question, you came over to berate and be rude and treat me disgustingly when you didn't even understand the issue. Typical white man shxt when it comes to Black women. So then I just tell the nice barista that I'll get it iced because that seems easier! I should have walked tf out after being treated like garbage smh ...Cory then makes me drink AND ITS WRONG. He sits it on the counter and obnoxiously YELLS "ICED PUMPKIN CHAI" when on my cup it says "Protect Black Women" -- I asked him to remake my drink and call my name when it's ready. Judging by the sizable crowd waiting for their drinks, I should have known better and walked right out. Priorities are wonky. Mobile app customers streamed in and out while baristas worked on their orders while walk-in customers waited, and waited. I waited for nearly 40 minutes, approached the counter three times, was told depending on what I ordered, it may or may not be attended to before "easier" orders. I ordered one grande hot caramel latte. I was given a $4 gift card with my drink to compensate for my wait. A nice gesture but my drink was over $7.00 and my time is worth a lot more. This Starbucks is so great! Everyone is friendly, it's kept super clean, and the vibe here is very community oriented. I love whoever does the elaborate chalkboard art! It's always super fun and super cute- I'm always looking forward to what they are going to come up with next! *note to parents* there is a little children's desk with a chair and some books. This store is one of the slowest I have ever been to. I do not preorder my coffee, I will wait in line; what is annoying is the priority for the app orders. I am a regular on business in Burlington and stop here almost every day of my stays in the area, there has never been a time here where service was fast. My last visit the order taker did not even come close to my name, after he questioned it, and then spelled my 4 letter name. He put Chris down, not it. However, I don't like the way they rearranged the store. The tables have been pushed up against the wall and it is not as cozy as it used to be. As far as Starbucks goes, this one is pretty decent and super clean. There isn't really another specialized coffee shop in Williston that I know of, so a lot people depend on it. The reason I chose to write a review is because of the staff. They're always unusually nice and cheerful, even when they're busy. Last time I went I asked for only half a shot of the vanilla syrup because I didn't want too much sugar and the nice younger girl told me she wouldn't charge me the extra 60 cents they normally charge for a full shot of it. She was really sweet about it and I appreciated her telling me because she totally didn't have to do that. As far as meeting up with people goes, it's pretty small and probably not the best for business gatherings. But it's a good ol' Starbucks in a good location. read more

I used to prefer the Starbucks on 7, but this one is better if for nothing else, they have Starbucks reserve. This is the Starbucks for people who don't like Starbucks...Or for Hipsters. I don't not like Starbucks but given the choice between these exotic coffees such as Yirgacheff and Peaberry, I'll choose one of them, if for nothing else, the experience. Some of these coffees have more floral or citrusy notes than the arabica coffee that is what most of us think of. The Sbux Reserve coffees are also brewed in a Clover brewer, which has been programmed for optimal brewing of the type you order, and they will be brewed fresh. No sitting in a carafe... I don't know if I've been lucky, or it's policy, but they haven't yet asked me if I want room for milk or sugar when ordering from the reserve. These coffees should be had without doctoring with milk and sugar. Some of them, especially the Eithopian Yirgacheff are not going to be bitter at all, so please, before you dump a bit out to add milk, take a little sip and see if it even needs it. The service has been pretty good. The only reason I am not willing to give this one 5 stars is the layout is really bizarre and I feel as if they could make much better use of the space inside. read more

Typical Starbuck's but on my visit this location seemed badly managed from customer experience perspective. I arrived to find three customers sitting with laptops and four SBUX staff behind counter. Two of the employees were engaged in a very loud discussion about bathrooms, water damage to the ceiling, etc. - actually just the guy was very loud - this discussion went on for at least ten minutes. This Starbucks took around 20 minutes to even get to the cashier to order and the cashier was doing too many things at once and not focusing on taking orders. The line is pretty long and they're not going any quicker, there aren't that many employees here but they should be more efficient with this amount of people. This location is great. I have been here a handful of times and never really had an issue. The staff here is pretty good. They make it simple for you to order drinks/food. They are even a little personal with you. In a good way! I haven't even ever felt rushed. So that's a thumbs up for me! I like to order a few select drinks from Starbucks. One is the double chocolatey chip drink, Chocolate banana smoothie or a peppermint mocha! I have had all 3 from this location. They are always well made, very consistent with their work. The prices here are to be as expected! A little more pricey than your local DD or gas station coffee! I stick with the medium sizes normally and they will run you about $3.79 on avg. Give or take on the type of drink. $4.59 for the double chocolatey chip if I remember correctly. So it is fair. You go in knowing you will pay a small premium for their name and blends! So while I don't stick to just any one Starbucks I just find my self here a lot due to its location. I visit Williston every other day it seems! So while I am in my travels and I want a quick sweet fix from a drink...I find my self here time and time again! Great 4/5! The staff here is fun and the drinks/food is great! What was supposed to be an in-and-out visit to get my morning dark roast took 20 minutes waiting for the one cashier to service 15+ people. While in line, we asked an employee if one of the other staff who were stocking pastries could maybe open the other register. He mumbled incoherently then went over to an employee in pigtails, who appeared to be a manager, and whisper and point at me and my son and give us a nasty look. Poor service and this kind of disdain towards polite customers is a disgrace. read more

The customer service here was pretty lacking. I asked for sugar free caramel syrup, and was told they no longer carried that. I was surprised to hear that, and asked when they stopped carrying it. Like any Starbucks they seem to do well with product quality and consistency. This one nails it every time and I'm pleased with that. Unfortunately, they seem to be cursed with the success of most Starbucks: too many sit down customers, not enough seats. When you've got a packed cafe of seated patrons along with a line of waiting customers, it can feel a bit claustrophobic when trying to relax with a hot brew. I also wonder how much of it is impacted by the typical throng of clients who sit with laptops open using the free wifi for who knows how long while new customers are stuck either standing at the tall table to sip or forced to take the coffee to go with them. I'm finding, more and more, that Starbucks, like this one, are becoming less of a come in and enjoy the cafe type of environment and more of an order and go on your way sort of experience.
