Summary: 3.0 Service; 3.0 Ambiance; 3.5 Beverages; 2.5 Navigating the shopping plaza area around the shop I've enjoyed drinks here from the standard beverage menu a few times, but it's not in my list of favorites (of the Starbucks brand). The primary challenge? Location. It's hindered by being the first shop when turning into the shopping plaza from Tuskawilla and also being a signpost for the chicken place next door ("take a left at the Starbucks"). Unfortunately the store's wrap-around drive-thru only adds to the driving challenge. The indoor seating is okay and outdoor seating is fair (if you're okay with watching the plaza traffic). If you're not in a hurry, have the patience to find a parking spot or navigate the busy plaza AND are in need of a Starbucks drink, you'll be okay at this store. read more

This location was super busy on a Friday morning! There wasn't a line to order, but the pick up line was out the door! I got a matcha latte and the spicy Falafel pocket. There was a bit of a wait for everything, but it came out right! The falafel pocket was tasty and the matcha was refreshing! There is limited seating, but I got extremely lucky to grab a bench seat to enjoy my breakfast. read more

Coming from northwest and heading south, this Starbooks at the intersection of Tuskawilla and Red Bug has a great location. I don't go to any of these locations except to get a "caramel frap", which is a sweet coffee flavored sweet drink topped with sweet caramel and whipped cream. If the coffee doesn't get you a bit wired, the sugar will, this thing is super sweet sweet. Now, no other place makes a frappe drink like this place. I have been to multiple coffee houses and other coffee franchises, and nope, nothing like this one. So, they are frap king. Since this is the only thing I ever get, and I actually know what they taste like (or supposes to taste like), this place made it perfect, hence the 4 stars. Also, the drive thru was pretty cool and did not take long. I was there in the afternoon though, few coffee drinkers at that time. read more

Not my usual Starbucks, but it was convenient to my appointment this morning and OMG! Literally greeted as soon as I walk in to pick up my mobile order and ended up seeing some sale stickers on their summer merchandise and of course had to pickup a gorgeous vacuum sealed coffee thermos that I'd been eyeballing all season anyway. Checking out gave me an opportunity to chat with the person working the counter who was so super friendly. I have gotten used to being greeted at my home Starbucks where they see me almost daily, but found that sometimes walking into a different store you don't get the same level of friendly welcome, but this store just proved that you don't have to be a regular to get five-star service! I continue to ask myself if there is any Starbucks in the Orlando Area that I have not been to. Seems to me that most of my review reminders are for Starbucks establishments. Needless to say that I enjoy Starbucks. I love their mobile app and their rewards system. So this is one of the Starbucks I have visited when craving coffee, a birthday cake-pop, an iced tea or a sandwich. I remember going here with Britta B. for the first time. We met here and completed some work-related reports while enjoying our drinks. Service was great, even though the place was packed. My drink was perfectly prepared and it was easy for me to work with their free wifi and plenty of seating areas. Three stars... Why? Well, first Starbucks I've got to say it's fairly subpar. The services OK, the drive-through's fairly slow and more often than not my drink isn't prepared the way I ordered it. I'm not a Starbucks hater by any means however when things are not up to snuff, they just bark. The only thing that's particularly consistent at this location is the food which of course comes in frozen and they merely put it out on the plate to sell. Is far as the service, the inconsistency comes in the fact that one particular shift can be better than the other. It's not so much a overall miss management. 2019 Review 34/100 Let's be honest. A Starbucks is a Starbucks. There is one on every corner and they're all pretty much the same. Not amazing coffee like you would find at a smaller local coffee shop, but decent. A good selection of bites. There isn't much variation. I do like this Starbucks more than a lot of others in the Central Florida area, though. For a few reasons. 1) I used to live over in the Winter Springs area and, at the time, this was really the only local coffee shop. This area of town doesn't have the good local shops like some other areas of town. At least, it didn't at the time. That could have changed by the time I'm writing this. So, this is the place to get a decent cup of coffee for surrounding locals. 2) I like the layout of the lounge area more than other Starbucks locations I've been to. It has a better layout feel to me and I feel more comfortable spending a lot of time here with a cup of coffee catching up with a friend than some other locations where seating is on top of the line area, etc. 3) There is a Panera right next door. One of my favorite things when I lived in the area was to grab a bagel at Panera and then pop over to Starbucks for coffee. The two businesses being so close to each other just works. As I said, nothing groundbreaking. At the end of the day, it's a Starbucks. But I do think this one is a little better than some of the others. read more

Nice employees, but wow. Nickel and dime the customers. First, one of the coffee machines is either broken, or doesn't retain heat. Many times the coffee is like warm. I have written the management via email and once a response, but no more. I work in the restaurant industry and have a food thermometer. Last check on lukewarm coffee showed 120 degrees. Then, with this cold snap, another oddity. The employees can not control the temperature of th restaurant itself, so everyone, employees and customers, is sitting in the cold. Or in my case, leaving day after day. Who provides a store with revenue anyway? Today I walked in and at 8:20M on a Sunday, one woman (bundled up in a jacket) was sitting its her breakfast. I enjoy traveling for my job, because then I can go to Starbucks in other locations and enjoy myself. read more

Super busy location but we walked over from Panera after a quick weeknight dinner so it was a breeze! With no other patrons in line waiting to order we were able to get in and out within a handful of minutes. The cashier was very friendly and accommodating when I was trying to explain that my daughter wanted a peppermint mocha WITHOUT ANY COFFEE...whhhaaa? But he got it figured out (just order a peppermint hot chocolate, lady). Oh, now she doesn't want it hot? Super! Really though, he was very nice and didn't give us hard time at all. Had there been other patrons waiting behind us she would have gotten that hot drink. Trust me. One thing that just irked me was that the customer before us had just received her beverage and she asked the barista something about her drink. The cashier had obviously forgotten something particular about her order so he apologized and admitted his fault. Too bad she was too busy rolling her eyes to accept or appreciate it. Listen, I know it's Starbucks and you can get just about anything and everything but people are human. Your lack of splenda doesn't equate to his "poor job." Oh! We also tried the peppermint brownie cake pop. I wasn't really overwhelmed by peppermint or brownie flavor. It was rather odd. This place is my dealer and they supply me with my D.O.C. (drink of choice) Addiction runs deep and I'm sure everyone has their favorite Starbucks for their favorite thing to do. There's the reading Starbucks, the sketching 'bux, the hipster 'bux, the hookup 'bux (you know the one you never go to unless you take a date but it's not your usual Starbucks for fear of contamination). This is my drive-thru go to. They're accurate, friendly and consistent. Also I don't know if they're a training location because I do tend to see a lot of new faces but my orders are always made to company standards. The parking logistics here is odd. There's only about 4 direct "store front" and the rest are always occupied seeing as this location seems to be in a constant parking tug of war with the Panera. read more

They're usually pretty busy but they sure do know how to make the coffee quick and good so that way the customer has their coffee ASAP and made correctly. The renovations at this location are finished. The look has changed quite a bit! There is a new "communal" table that has about ten low stools around it. There are some new comfy chairs with wooden arms and wood block "tables" to set your drink or laptop on. They have added an additional condiment bar by the rear door. I used to come here all the time - used to log in here for hours to complete my Bachelor's Degree. On a recent visit, however, I was sorely disappointed by how lackluster the service has become. I ordered a Smoked Butterscotch latte and after a considerable wait got a White Chocolate Mocha. Okay, obviously the girl who rang me up either can't hear very well or she put the wrong label on my drink. Fine. Then, when they gave me the correct order it was obviously a) rushed and b) of poor quality. I actually went "blech" after my first sip. The girls at this location also appear to be less than happy employees. I had to explain to 3 of them the drink they gave me was wrong (I want the one on the large photo BEHIND you) and not one apologized. The girl making the drinks is not very friendly or, considering the taste of the beverage, skilled. This location is insanely busy, I'm sure. But customer service should never suffer because of steady patronage. NOTE: Hand to God, I just overheard they got ANOTHER order wrong and offered the incorrect drink anyway as otherwise they would throw it out. How much is wasted here due to ineptitude? read more

I'm not a coffee drinker, but I still enjoy going to Starbucks from time to time. During my most recent visit, Jamie the barista greeted me with a smile and light humor as I asked for a list of their non-caffeinated beverages. I opted to try one of their handcrafted sodas or "fizzios" and got the golden ginger ale flavor. I wasn't sure if I liked it at first as I'm used to canned ginger ale, but the flavor grew on me and I've decided that I must get it again! Besides friendly baristas, this Starbucks is full of large windows and it makes it seem as though you are sitting outside (but with the comfort of air conditioning) no matter where you are in the coffee shop. read more

This is one of the few Starbucks I've found that makes my go-to drink (venti passion iced tea with two pumps of classic) well. Most of the time it comes out being sour or really watery, no bueno. Here, somehow, they've figured it out. Either that or they're a) putting in too much sugar and I don't see it, or b) I'm biased because it's close to my current residence. This Starbucks is one of the busiest I visit. There is always at least a couple people waiting to place their order, and the store's drive-thru appears even busier. Today there are five servers behind the counter and two more servers floating, and they are all rocking it. The servers are friendly, and most will smile when dealing with customers. The coffee is good and consistent, and I always receive what I order. I knocked off a star from the review because the wi-fi cuts out sometimes, and if you're using internet for work, that can be annoying. I'm not sure if it is a Starbucks issue (I have no idea how that wi-fi thing works), however I don't have this issue at other Starbucks. read more

Large crowd often using the internet from their computers at this Starbucks--it has lots of comfy seating and tables on which to work. There's also a small area outside where one can sit and work. There's often a short line because its so busy but the very experienced staff keeps the line moving. The pastries are often quite good--I like the lemon cake, the cookies, the brownies, the scones. They also have sandwiches and salads, etc. I usually have to check that my ice tea comes unsweetened; they've mad the mistake once or twice of putting in sweetener. The staff always grinds my husbands coffee beans for him--they are quick about doing so. The corner location makes close parking a bit difficult--two rows over towards the bank is usually the best place to go. read more

My biggest issue for the past few years with this location has been the inconsistency. Between the drinks, the turning door or employees, and my biggest issue.... the hours. Currently 3/15/2021 this location closes at 7pm... 7pm? I don't get out of work until 7:15. It's such an inconvenient time to close. And they continue to change their hours every month or so.
