One of the worst Starbucks on planet earth. Employees are loud, obnoxious, and endlessly discussing their personal lives and gossiping about others at a volume of 11. It's embarrassing and shameful to the Starbucks brand. Also makes it utterly impossible to get any work done inside or be productive in any way with so much unnecessary yelling and yapping. It seems like the more people working behind the counter in pretty much any Starbucks, the slower the service. This place is no exception. It's small and always crowded. Outside seating is obviously only good for warm weather. And even though seating is LIMITED almost every time I have been there the manager (who has been there for years) is almost always seated at one of the tables with another person doing some kind of "manager thing" with someone. Do that to in the back and leave the seating for CUSTOMERS. read more

I am a confessed Starbucks fan, from years on the road travelling with softball teams. The "anti-dunkin" for me. The dark roasts are terrific and we use them at home. The turkey bacon egg white muffin also makes for a solid breakfast sandwich! read more

Hands down my favorite Starbucks in Westchester! This is my Starbucks when I'm at work and when I have to go to the one near my house on weekends I actually get disappointed. They are always consistent and their employees are so friendly. The manager is always there, behind the counter, working, making sure everything is to satisfaction and it shows! Outside is nice but obviously is only useful in the warmer months. Parking can be a doozy on certain peak hours and days, along with some snooty people that can ocassion in as patrons. Not only is this Starbucks one of the few in Northern Westchester, but it has a beautiful outdoor patio! There isn't a whole lot in the way of seating inside though. The parking situation can be a mess sometimes and there are certain points during the day (especially during the summer) that lots of townies are loitering and hanging out. I don't usually write reviews because they always seem oddly self serving but after reading some of the rude and unfounded complaints I feel I must stand up for all the Laura's, Lauren's, Kaela's, Kira's, Maria's, Sita's, Tiffany's, Joni's, Nicole's, Meghan's, Kayleigh's, Melissa's, Zoe's and Julie's of the barista world. I've been coming to this Starbucks since 2007 and have always felt welcomed, befriended and assisted at the apex of possible service standards at a location which is constantly dealing in an immense amount of foot traffic, online orders and a community full of over privileged children AND adults; and yet still mange to smile after every order. In fact, I'm still friends with current AND former employees and my life richer for it! Their job is In the service industry and by far NOT easy. They deal with rude individuals, low wages and ever-shifting schedules. I commend these amazingly capable and hardworking human beings and hope that I have the pleasure of being a customer and friend of theirs for a long time to come! read more

Hope this review finds you well! i had a very kind worker. Even though I wasn't able to catch the name of the employee I still thought she should be recognized. As i walked in to grab my sandwhich and coffee as I was in a rush I grabbed it without looking because I was grabbing a napkin. As I was picking up the napkin the coffee spilled and the sandwich stuck to me!! The nice lady ran out from the counter to come and help and she was telling her coworkers to start making a new coffee and sandwhich she was giving me napkins to clean myself and she was cleaning the floors and tables the got effected in this accident to make sure there is still a clean environment for all of the other customers to sit without out having to feel that they aren't in a clean atmosphere. As far as ice coffee and hot coffee no brainers. Also find cheaper then dunkin. Lines can be insane long even but mobile helps a little. Nice store seating outdoors. I'd give a 5 but there parking lot looks like a bomb hit it and been that way to long, pot holes etc. read more

The Yorktown Starbucks is actually the best Starbucks I think I've ever been to, and I've been a devotee ever since the mid-'00s when Starbucks was THE epitome of cool. Not only is it located inside of a neat building from 1932, but it also has the friendliest and most attentive people staffing it. Seriously. I had Lala as my barista a few days ago, and she was cheerful, warm, and actually got my order right. I mean, what more can one ask? The cafe itself also has a ton of natural light and ample seating, perfect for getting down to business on your blog or social media ventures. They also have a cute little patio outside to indulge in your tea on a warm spring afternoon. Granted, your view is a highway, but we can't have EVERYTHING, can we? Give 'em a visit! read more

The staff here are so patient and welcoming even when they are swamped with a line. I saw such a nice woman ask for an unsweetened green tea and by mistake it said sweetened on the ticket. The barista who typed the ticket wrong kindly apologized, quickly made the woman an unsweetened green tea and offered her to take the sweetened one anyways, this way she didn't throw it out. It is civilians' like these nice people who make you realize to have patience because everyone makes mistakes and how being nice and doing the right thing goes a lot further. This Starbucks is always packed. The employees in the back are always working their ass off to provide drinks quickly. I'm giving five stars because I made a mobile order and when arriving to pick up I didn't see my drink, when asked, I was told they were out of the soy milk I requested and if there was a substitute milk I'd like to use. I said yes. Two min later (in the middle of a crazy rush of people) an employee hands me a giftcard for $5.00 and apologies for the inconvenience of being out of soy milk. I was shocked. Shocked because that was certainly not needed or expected when there was an alternative I choose. So thank you to these employees who value their customer. I'll be back! read more

It's a Starbucks, nothing else needs to be said. But I love to Yelp so here's my review. It's a tiny one with little seating inside. By the way the inside is done with lots of old wood around the doors and windows. Outside, this Starbucks has a really cool courtyard complete with stone wall, iron fencing and old fashioned gas light fixtures at the entrance. I picture this as how a Starbucks would have looked in the late 1700s had there been these little meccas back then. The courtyard really sets this coffee house apart from others that I've been too. read more

the machines are always broken or perhaps the excuse they give for not properly maintaining them . They sit there and gossip while I was waiting about 3 minutes alone on line . The Maria that works there charges people twice , gives attitudes and always talking . The place is dirty and run poorly . 1 week straight with missing items ... no blonde still , no soap in bathrooms and just a whole lot of attitude . GREAT PATIO AT THIS LOCATION!! this starbucks has the FRIENDLIEST and most helpful staff I have ever experienced! They always go above and beyond even with recent power outages and the yearly potholes that the landlord next door refuses to fix. They go out of their way to get the potholes fixed and repair the broken espresso bars which the maintenance people are constantly breaking! read more

Oh my, how do I even start. I was going for a socially distanced brunch with my friend, I ordered my usual chai latte and she ordered a kiwi drink, not specifically what its named, but i can't recall it at this very moment. They told her that they were out in a very rude way, she ended up going with a 'Pink Drink" there was a line which didn't bother me, but the thing was there was so many people working, so many baristas that I wasn't sure what was going on. It was finally time for me and Denise to pick up our beverages when the young lady putting the caps on our drinks accidently spilled her drink and said 'oops!' And cracked a smile. It seemed so unreal, as we were waiting For half an hour. We finally were able to sit outside, which the only thing that was enjoyable was the sunny seating, perfect for COVID conditions. As much as I am a fan of Starbucks and this store in particular, this review is solely directed towards the store manager, Laura, who has been at this location for several years now. Set aside the usual getting to know the customers and town on a personal, relatable level which she excels at, I've rarely come across a more professional "leader" than her. The most recent example of this came just recently when staff arrived one morning to find a broken water pipe in the store, so no heat, no brewed coffee, and oh- mobile wasn't up. Laura arrived and immediately went into problem solving mode. Calls made to get the pipe fixed, extra staff to come in, and being able to at least make craft drinks were done in such a calm, professional manner. The easy way would have been to close the store until all repairs were completed, but she was able to see a plan and to make it work. Laura is a great example for the entire business community. read more

Just plain terrible service. The kids behind the counter are too busy chatting to get drinks out, and the lines build up. I don't think they have ever gotten my order correct, and if I order from their app drinks are never ready when I get there - even if I pad the estimate considerably. This place is usually well run. But there's an older woman who works the register who is AWFUL. You can ask her for something but if it isn't up front it's automatically sold out. I've been here numerous times where I've asked for certain things that weren't present in the front but they'd check the back and almost always have it. If you don't like your job, then quit. I don't know how many times I've repeated to this woman that I want decaf for her to only make my drinks caffeinated anyway. Yikes. read more

By far the worst starbucks I've been to. I go in once a week (for 2 yrs now!) and see the same people and they make no attempt to actually be nice. Even the starbucks i go to in the center of the world at Times Square talks to me like they recognize me and I'm only in there 1x a month! Plus they have on occasion been downright rude. They are EXTREMELY slow. Almost always in need of a refill on the creamer and a wipedown of the milk station. And today at 12:30 was already out if most of their "lunch items." This Starbucks is by the worst! Bad service, rude staff and no product. Was going to order sandwhich from the Starbucks app but doesn't let u advise no cheese so I went there to order. After waiting they didn't have the sandwhich and the guy brought out a tray of breakfast sandwiches when I asked for lunch. Now the line behind me is very long and I left without getting what I came for.
