I enjoyed a lovely brunch at Bluestone Lane on my way to CT. I was familiar with the Newark Airport location, so it was nice to see an actual cafe. I was warmly greeted upon arrival, and my server was very friendly and attentive. He even encouraged me to take a larger table with a booth even though I was solo. The Fitz-roy cold-pressed juice was refreshing, and my breakfast bowl was delicious! They serve "all day" breakfast items as well as salads and sandwiches. The beverage menu includes a variety of coffees, smoothies, and healthy specialties. I am unsure if there are visitor attractions in Armonk, but I would definitely recommend stopping at this cafe! read more

I stop here frequently for a flat white and occasionally, breakfast. Seems to have many regulars and has a lively atmosphere. I have tried the pancakes and breakfast burrito and found them to be consistently excellent and flavorful, with generous portions. Not certain what attracted this Australian cafe to this small Westchester town, but I'm glad to have them nearby as a dependable choice for a lighter meal. I review coffee. At places that claim to be coffee experts. Coffee centric. Coffee elite. Bluestone Lane is one such place. It positions itself at the top of the coffee chain hierarchy. So I decided I would give it a try in Armonk, even though a previous visit to a different Bluestone lane was tragically unrewarding. This place is in a strip mall. It's cute inside and act as if it's a restaurant with hostess seating "please wait here to be seated" signage - leading to a confused collision at the entrance between patrons waiting to be seated, people trying to get to the register, people looking to just order a coffee.... I Immediately noted upon entering that there was exactly one staff member behind the counter, handling both the register and the espresso machine. This is usually a bad sign because one person is doing two jobs. I ordered a Cortado to stay, and indicated I would sit at the bar. The overworked gentleman was friendly and amicable and I asked him if he could do latte art on a Cortado. He said he would "to the best of his ability." He proceeded to make me a Cortado, delivered it in a timely manner, and offered me a water if I wanted - though oddly it was in a cup that was already on the counter. I think they set up the counter in advance, which clearly leads to a mix of clean cutlery and cups and dirty that people set on the counter. I have no idea if the water cup that my water was poured into was clean and I didn't touch it.... The Cortado I received as pictured was poured with a reasonable attempt, though it was below what I can do at home and I'm no barista. I attribute this to the guy being rushed and doing two jobs at the same time, and perhaps needing a little bit more training. But the real tragedy - it was cold. The cup was not preheated, and even though I received the drink quickly after it was prepared, it was not much more than lukewarm and unenjoyable. I left 2/3 of it behind and exited. This is not an elite coffee establishment. It's a coffee enterprise, trying to be a growth chain and compete with the likes of Starbucks, pretending to use real barista and real espresso machines, but delivering subpar to the consumer. read more

If I need to have a coffee break while in Armonk, this is always my first choice. I've been a Bluestone fan for ages, especially when I lived/worked in NYC. They used to be in the Westchester Mall and also have a spot in Larchmont. Regardless, it's nice this one is still pretty close. If you're hungry, the food on their menu is always fresh and delicious. From the breakfast burritos to the healthy bowls, you can't go wrong! First time at Bluestone Lane. Bright, warm and welcoming as soon as you enter. The employee behind the bar counter immediately greeted us and told us that someone would seat us shortly. True to his word, we were greeted by another employee who sat us by the window. We were offered tap or bottled water to begin with. My friend and I both ordered iced coffees and milk/cream & sugar were provided upon request. I ordered the blueberry pancakes. They came in this little cast iron pan, with an abundance of blueberry compote. The presentation was a 10/10. I couldn't wait to dive in! These just might be the BEST blueberry pancakes I've ever had in my life!! wow!!! My mouth is still watering thinking about them hours later. No need for syrup as the blueberry compote was plentiful! Have been here a few times and normally my experience has been good. The other day the service was completely different. I know they were a bit busy since it was the weekend, but while other tables were checked in on around me and served no one checked on me - only when I waived someone over. I didn't even know who my server was because I just had to call whoever I could catch nearby. Was stuck there for an extra 30 minutes because I asked for an item to go and they forgot to put it in their system. I still tipped as normal because I get they're busy ... but when I asked about if there was any way to prioritize the order because it was a small item and I obviously had no insight into the fact it wasn't punched in until 20 minutes later when I was paying the guy raised his voice at me .... not planning to come back after this experience which is unfortunate because the food and drink is good! read more

We were looking for a place to have a brunch on a quiet Sunday afternoon We found this spot, spot drove up, and it was a good find which we will go back to again We had some coffee which was great, strong, well brewed, very tasty. I chose the avocado And poached eggs dish which was great after I added an additional egg - the eggs were cooked firmly on the outside with runny yolks, just like I like it. Tried this location of the Australian-inspired chain of coffee shops (headquartered in New York City) and liked the menu very much. Each location has a slightly different menu to suit its clientele. Love the transparency or the ingredients and nutritional value of each item as well as the many gluten free options. The berry smoothie was on the small side and served with a biodegradeable straw. The staff are polite and well trained enough to not chase us away after our breakfast ran three hours. Very much appreciated. I had the green baked eggs which is described as chimichurri baked eggs with spinach, sheep's milk feta, field mushrooms & herb tomatoes served with toasted multigrain. The baking melded the flavors of the different ingredients. I would like to try this dish where the flavors are allowed to stand in sharp relief with one another, but that's just my personal preference. read more

Went here to try this new breakfast/brunch place in town. We enjoyed our meals. All were delicious and dishes were beautifully plated. I had the baked eggs over veggies and my husband had the avocado toast. Coffee was strong and we liked it. The baked eggs could be perfect for my liking if the eggs were not well done and toast on the side was not toasted so well. I want my toast crunchy but not over toasted that made it hard to bite and not enjoyable to eat. So if you are like me, just let them know ahead of time on how you want it done. My order was quickly taken and the Green Goddess Bowl I ordered described as a "refreshing mix of summer greens with crisp cucumber, fennel edamame, toasted seeds, pickled onion and feta tossed in a tangy vinaigrette and topped with an avocado rose. When you come with a toddler and order pancakes for the toddler and avocado toast for yourself, you would expect the pancakes to arrive at the same time as the other order, not 10 minutes later in a half empty restaurant. Also, kids meals would be appreciated since I had to pay full price to order plain pancakes without the other accoutrements listed.
