I review coffee. At places that claim to be coffee experts. Coffee centric. Coffee elite. Bluestone Lane is one such place. It positions itself at the top of the coffee chain hierarchy. So I decided I would give it a try in Armonk, even though a previous visit to a different Bluestone lane was tragically unrewarding. This place is in a strip mall. It's cute inside and act as if it's a restaurant with hostess seating "please wait here to be seated" signage - leading to a confused collision at the entrance between patrons waiting to be seated, people trying to get to the register, people looking to just order a coffee.... I Immediately noted upon entering that there was exactly one staff member behind the counter, handling both the register and the espresso machine. This is usually a bad sign because one person is doing two jobs. I ordered a Cortado to stay, and indicated I would sit at the bar. The overworked gentleman was friendly and amicable and I asked him if he could do latte art on a Cortado. He said he would "to the best of his ability." He proceeded to make me a Cortado, delivered it in a timely manner, and offered me a water if I wanted - though oddly it was in a cup that was already on the counter. I think they set up the counter in advance, which clearly leads to a mix of clean cutlery and cups and dirty that people set on the counter. I have no idea if the water cup that my water was poured into was clean and I didn't touch it.... The Cortado I received as pictured was poured with a reasonable attempt, though it was below what I can do at home and I'm no barista. I attribute this to the guy being rushed and doing two jobs at the same time, and perhaps needing a little bit more training. But the real tragedy - it was cold. The cup was not preheated, and even though I received the drink quickly after it was prepared, it was not much more than lukewarm and unenjoyable. I left 2/3 of it behind and exited. This is not an elite coffee establishment. It's a coffee enterprise, trying to be a growth chain and compete with the likes of Starbucks, pretending to use real barista and real espresso machines, but delivering subpar to the consumer.

Breakfast was delicious here. They have a great coffee menu. We came on a rainy morning. The potatoes were our favorite. The pancakes another table ordered also looked delicious.

If I need to have a coffee break while in Armonk, this is always my first choice. I've been a Bluestone fan for ages, especially when I lived/worked in NYC. They used to be in the Westchester Mall and also have a spot in Larchmont. Regardless, it's nice this one is still pretty close. If you're hungry, the food on their menu is always fresh and delicious. From the breakfast burritos to the healthy bowls, you can't go wrong! Tip: if you're craving something sweet, get their Aussie iced latte. There is never a bad time for ice cream!

I like this place because it's cute and it's good but $10 for an iced latte with almond milk and they can't even fill it to the top. Not impressed today.

    Beautifully done latte.

Pretty much a perfect latte. Very clean with table service. It's a repeat visit when we're in Armonk. Highly recommend.

First time at Bluestone Lane. Bright, warm and welcoming as soon as you enter. The employee behind the bar counter immediately greeted us and told us that someone would seat us shortly. True to his word, we were greeted by another employee who sat us by the window. We were offered tap or bottled water to begin with. My friend and I both ordered iced coffees and milk/cream & sugar were provided upon request. I ordered the blueberry pancakes. They came in this little cast iron pan, with an abundance of blueberry compote. The presentation was a 10/10. I couldn't wait to dive in! These just might be the BEST blueberry pancakes I've ever had in my life!! wow!!! My mouth is still watering thinking about them hours later. No need for syrup as the blueberry compote was plentiful! My friend ordered the avocado toast, which she enjoyed. It was a large portion! Can't wait to go back.

Solid option for reasonable, solid food and drinks. Atmosphere is nice, service was a little slow considering the kind of food it is but everyone was nice and food was delicious!

Really neat Australian inspired cafe! Pricey, but that's expected for the area. Clean and sleek interior. No wait for a table for four on a Saturday late morning. Good coffee and matcha. My husband liked his "Milo" which is a malted chocolate drink. Great presentation of all the meals. We all enjoyed what we had. I did think the food was not very hot by the time it was brought to us. But still good tasting. For sure will return.

Tried this location of the Australian-inspired chain of coffee shops (headquartered in New York City) and liked the menu very much. Each location has a slightly different menu to suit its clientele. Love the transparency or the ingredients and nutritional value of each item as well as the many gluten free options. The berry smoothie was on the small side and served with a biodegradeable straw. The staff are polite and well trained enough to not chase us away after our breakfast ran three hours. Very much appreciated. I had the green baked eggs which is described as chimichurri baked eggs with spinach, sheep's milk feta, field mushrooms & herb tomatoes served with toasted multigrain. The baking melded the flavors of the different ingredients. I would like to try this dish where the flavors are allowed to stand in sharp relief with one another, but that's just my personal preference.

The only downside is that they don't take reservations for brunch, but trust me, the wait is SO worth it. We started with the mimosa flight, which came with a generous pour and several delicious flavors. Two things I look for in a good brunch: variety and a little buzz, this delivered! I ordered the steak Caesar salad, and the steak was juicy, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the delicious potato fries. My best friend enjoyed her steak and eggs as well. We also tried the empanadas, including black bean & cheese, sazón beef, mojo pork, and buffalo chicken with sofrito aioli. Each one had its own unique flavor, and they were all delicious. Great food, fun drinks, and plenty of options. Definitely worth the wait!

They have a program to text when your table was ready, so we went for a walk in the neighborhood while we waited. A surprisingly short time later, we received the text that our table was ready! The menu(s) had a wonderful selection of food and drinks, along with some specials. They do use a QR code for their menus, but noticed they also had paper menus upon request. Our server was friendly and attentive. The other members of staff would also check in as they passed by. My boyfriend enjoyed the PB & J Latte along with the creole shrimp Benedict. He said it was seasoned well, right level of spice, stated the eggs were poached perfectly, and really enjoyed how moist the cornbread was. I indulged with the "Tipsy Palmer" which is an Arnold Palmer with Bourbon in it. To be honest, there wasn't much of a bourbon taste to it, if any at all, but for a summer brunch drink, it was refreshing. For my entree, I chose the chicken Caesar sliders. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed as the brioche buns seemed a little on the stale/stiff side. The homemade caesar dressing was delicious, but they only coated the lettuce in it which resulted in a bit of a dry slider. I believe the sliders would benefit from a bit of the dressing at least on the bottom of the bun. I asked for (and received) a side of the dressing to bring home to dress up my remaining sliders. Lastly, and I know this is extremely minor, but the silverware was placed incorrectly (knife and fork reversed with the knife edge in the wrong direction). Again, I am WELL AWARE this is minor, but for me, sometimes the minor details are the things that stand out. Overall, a wonderful experience and will try them again at a later date.

The waiter said it was the pesto mayo, which according to AI CAN migrate from sweet tasting to licorice flavored (ugh!) based on the basil being exposed to extreme heat causing it to flower. They have free parking in two lots, one adjacent to the restaurant and one across the street. The spots are narrow so they may be a bit tight for super large cars. The restaurant does not allow strollers. They have a prominent sign on the front of the door, which I appreciated, but it did make it harder to manage with a little one. We made a reservation. I arrived late, but they sat my friend right away while she waited and provided us with sturdy wooden high chairs. To drink, I ordered a lemonade. It turned out to be pink lemonade, which I hadn't had in a while. It was tasty, especially with a requested fresh lemon for a little extra tartness. To eat, I had the tree hugger benedict. The eggs were well prepared and the English muffin was nice and buttery. Our waitress and other patrons were friendly.

My partner found this spot while searching nearby, and oh how happy I am that he did! I had been craving blueberry pancakes for days and was so excited to have a rare breakfast-for-dinner treat. From the moment we walked in, the warmth of the place completely melted the cold away. We were greeted by a wonderful, incredibly kind waitress, and the atmosphere inside was just so cozy and comforting. There was a lovely mix of people having their supper, including a sweet family of seven eating dinner together at the table next to us. It just had that perfect, welcoming community feel. The menu was seriously impressive. My other half ordered the southern chicken sausage gravy dinner, and it was phenomenal! I got my blueberry pancakes- my absolute favorite - and they completely exceeded expectations. I also tried the lentil soup, which was packed with flavor. Honestly, I don't think you could have a bad meal here if you tried. Our waitress (the same lovely woman who greeted us) chatted with us for a bit and was just so delightful and attentive. I even spotted a rice pudding with strawberries and whipped cream on the dessert menu that looked right up my alley, but between my pancakes and stealing a few delicious bites of the chicken dinner, I was far too full this time around! As we left, I noticed the pretty flowers and the outdoor picnic tables. I'm sure this place absolutely hops on weekend mornings, but it was the perfect rainy evening escape for us. Thank you so much for your incredible hospitality-we are officially adding this to our regular rotation when we are in the area.
