I'd like to give an example of Dr. Chughtai's outstanding behavior of not only being a wonderful doctor but and outstanding human being. I had a triple bypass surgery that I thought went successfully but I felt chest pain a few months after the surgery. I went to my regular cardiologist who did a stress test that came out abnormal so I had a nuclear scan done that came out clear. My doctor told me I was fine but I still had reservations so I went looking for another doctor. I had heard great things about Dr. Chughtai from a friend. He's very thorough, extremely friendly and down to earth. Dr. Chughtai also agreed these tests were inconsistent and decided to do an angiogram. He found out all 3 of my bypass grafts were clogged (almost 90%) which was upsetting since I had just had surgery. Dr. Chughtai calmed me through such an emotional time and scheduled me for an angioplasty. The procedure was a success, I got a second chance on life and couldn't have done it without this guy. I do go in for follow-up visits and he always greets me with a smile on his face. I love this guy, he's in his late 60s but he still has great instincts and knows how to properly treat and care for a patient.

I called Monday around 9 am and left a message asking for someone to return the call. By 3 pm, no one had called me back. I did the waiting game on hold as 'all representatives are helping other patients ' for 12 plus minutes. I finally had a live person answer and was able to cancel the appointment. I was told someone would call me back to reschedule. That hasn't happened. Second, my 3 month check up on an intervention done by one of their doctors in November still has not happened. I've had another procedure since and no one even asked about the previous procedure. I was referred to Iowa Heart for a procedure to help with the circulation in my legs. That hasn't even been addressed!!! I'm checking with my insurance to find a more communicative and caring surgeon.

They check it again about half way thru my workout. And they check it again after my cool down period. They document my workout and check in on me several times during my workout. I highly recommend this place
