They call around 10:30a, tell me that they're not going to be able to make the appt, the guy that was supposed to come will need to be at his other appt the entire day, that we may need to reschedule on a different day, but would call me either way. I said ok, but this isn't great because we reworked our work schedules to accommodate the appt. Fine, it is what it is. At 1p, they have a guy that can come, try to call me and only get voicemail, so they just send him over anyways. Since we hadn't heard anything for a couple hours, we had already jumped into other things, I was on a work call, etc. The service manager (Bob) couldn't understand why it matters - to not just show up at someone's home long after the appt you called to say you couldn't make. He literally tried to keep me on the phone, trying to debate this with me, while his plumber was in my home waiting to explain to me what he thought the issue was, and what needed to be done. I was like "we're on the clock, I've got your guy here now waiting to talk to me about what needs done, and I assume I'm paying for this time, so I'd like to talk to him about the job". Then he tells me that he wants me to commit to having them do the job or he's telling his guy to leave. I'm like, you're going to need to let me talk to him to understand what the scope is so that I know what I'm signing up for. I can't tell you til I have some idea of what the problem is or what needs done to fix it. Bob tells me, fine, he'll get off the phone to let me talk to the guy "for 10 minutes", and then he's calling his guy "in 10 minutes" to see what I have decided to do. The plumber (Ethan) and I have a rational conversation about what he thinks the issue is, options to repair, and the potential issues if it turns out to be other causes. Bottom line, here's the things I wish I knew about these folks: - the only appt they can truly confirm is the 1st one of the day, at 8a - every other apot is subject to being way early, or way late, and all depends on what they find at any other job before you Truly I don't understand why other folks can make appts, or give ranges they can commit to, but whatever...I just wish they told me this up front. Based on Bob, I'd have given 1 star, but moved it to 3 because Ethan was awesome, and really did a great job not on just the plumbing but also dealing with an upset customer. Thank you Ethan!

The guy broke his snake it got stuck in our pipe outside . We went to a hotel for the night. He Came back next day with another man form different company with camera. Found a lot of roots that broke the snake and were not cleaned first time around. Found the broken piece and removed it. Spent over 3 hours at $125 per guy! Bill was over $1200 ! Price Gouging - Poor Communication & Customer Service - Extremely Disappointed With Buckeye…read morePlumbing I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Buckeye Plumbing and will not be using them again or recommending them to others. The biggest issue was pricing and communication. Buckeye Plumbing replaced two outdoor faucets at my mother's home. The work took approximately 45 minutes, they charged $816.18 for the two faucets. I understand that a plumbing company has overhead, travel expenses, equipment, insurance, and other costs, and I am not opposed to paying a fair price for professional work. However, the amount charged seemed extraordinarily high compared with the work performed. What makes the situation worse is that I was never given a price or estimate before the work was performed. In fact, when Buckeye Plumbing performed a project at my own home previously, I was present from beginning to end and was never provided a quote for that work either. So when the technicians went to my mother's home, there was no reason for me to expect that a separate quote would suddenly be provided. Buckeye Plumbing's own response acknowledges this. They stated that their normal procedure is to provide the applicable price before beginning the work, but admitted that this step was not properly completed in this case. They also acknowledged that I did not have the opportunity to review and approve the price beforehand. My mother was home and available during the second visit. If there was a question about the scope of work or price, the technicians could have discussed it with her, or contacted me by phone. Instead, the work was completed and I was presented with the bill afterward. When I asked Buckeye Plumbing to reconsider the invoice, they refused to make any adjustment, despite acknowledging that their normal pricing procedure had not been followed. To me, this is not simply about whether a company uses flat-rate pricing. It is about transparency and giving customers the opportunity to make an informed decision before agreeing to expensive work. Had I been told beforehand that replacing two outdoor faucets would cost $816.18, I would have had the opportunity to decide whether to proceed. Instead, I was given the price after the work was already completed and then told there would be no adjustment. Horrible customer service. I believe customers deserve clear communication, upfront pricing, and the opportunity to approve a charge before work begins. Unfortunately, Buckeye Plumbing did not provide that experience, and their handling of my complaint left me even more disappointed. Do not use Buckeye Plumbing.

Dom also returned to my home to deliver the warranty paperwork, clean up the remaining mess, and review the installation with me. He listened to my concerns, apologized for the issues, and acknowledged that one component of the existing plumbing should have been replaced. No company gets every job perfect. What separates a good company from a great one is how they respond when something doesn't go as planned. Donamarc took ownership where appropriate, communicated professionally, and worked to make things right. Since we are on a well system I contacted this company for a diagnostic examination. The following day Dennis arrived and conducted an extremely thorough review of our well system and determined that the pump needed to be replaced to include a pipe and electrical wiring. Dennis is one of those individuals who is courteous, professional and demonstrates a level of confidence which only comes with decades of experience. Within days the crew showed up (on time) and quickly got to work. These guys were true professionals. The system to include a new pump, electrical wiring and pipe were quickly installed. On top of that after consulting with the crew I had them do a blowout of the well. The amount of sludge and sediment that was expelled from the well was incredible. But more important the debris was completely cleaned up by the crew. This will cut down on changing my water system filter. Many thanks to this wonderful company. We are thrilled with the results and in particular the shower pressure is incredible. WELL DONE.

I encourage you to see my review of them on Yelp and read how terribly I was let down and overcharged by AtoZoff and their low IQ techs. But thankfully a friend recommended CHIPPEWA. Dale, the owner, came out to my home. I was impressed by his intelligence, his knowledge, and his focused determination to solve my problem. His array of diagnostic tools and the way he handled them was far superior to the stupidity and incompetence exhibited by AtoZoff. My furnace had either failed to produce heat or when it did, once it reached the desired setting, it failed to hold the temperature which meant the temperature would plunge. I endured this through September and October. I put off calling because AtoZoff had taken so much money from me, $400 and doing essentially nothing.. But it was a happy day when Dale came. He discovered the cause: the pressure switch had gone bad. Dale is pleasant and his price was fair at $233.00. I say, don't hesitate to call him.
