    Two years ago I moved to Arts District which is right next to Downtown Los Angeles and we were given the option between AT&T, Spectrum, and Starry. I was a bit skeptical at first about Starry as the pricing was very competitive but decided to go with Starry given the transparent pricing (vs. the others that lock you in with an intro rate for the first year), no hidden charges, and included wifi router/modem. Speed/Reliability - I've been using Starry for two years now and I can say I'm very happy with the service, so much so that it's been the best internet experience I've had. The speeds are incredibly fast - I have multiple devices that use wifi like cameras, lights, speakers, and can stream TV, shows, movies on multiple devices while playing games on my PS5 and I've never had any issues with buffering or in-game lag. I've attached a screenshot showing the ~400mb down/~200mb up speeds. Customer Service (in-person and phone) - In the past two years I've only had to call customer service twice - the first was the initial installation and the second was an outage that was resolved in about 15 minutes. The initial installation was a breeze and my technician showed up on time, and came in with a mask on and put covers on his shoes to protect my home from outside germs. He had a great attitude the entire time he was working and gave me a free ethernet cord so I could connect my PS5 directly. I'm also impressed with how they treated me over the phone as every person I've spoken to has been warm, very nice, friendly, and eager to help. tl;dr - Starry has been the fastest, most reliable internet I've had and the customer service is second to none. Highly recommend for anyone if it's available.     After moving near DTLA, I was weary of getting screwed over by ISP oligopolies like Spectrum; I had used them before and developed a grudge over them on how now they prey after me, like the Evil Queen trying to lure me in with 'free x month unnecessary phone-TV-Internet deals' instead of poisoned apples. But, my landlady told me that she and the ex-tenant here used Starry. So, I checked it out, through slight hassle got it set up, and they gave me a free month before charging me $50/month. Throughout my 1.5 years of using Starry, the speed was almost consistent, reliable, and fast - see attached photo for Internet speed test. Now that I am moving out, I was able to cancel my service in 3 minutes? after not reciprocating Cody's very friendly customer service through phone. I was impressed that I'd get a pro-rated refund for the remaining days of the billing cycle and it made me want to leave a good review for Starry. Thank you Cody - hope you do consider moving to Asia one day :)

    Starry technician broke hooks on a base of my Blink door bell that keep cover on a place, when was moving cover to connect bell to Wi-Fi, that is why when he tried to put cover back it was keep falling. I complained to starry support and asking them to replace my bell. The field office manager refused and the technician was blaming me. So let see what happened- technician removed cover from base, connected Wi-Fi then put cover on place but it did not stay on place. He tried several time, then i try, then he said hooks are broken and suggest me keep cover on base with tape. My first email I sent on June 28, today is August 15, that means they ignoring me and they don't care about loosing costumers.

    Internet is fast. I'm super happy with Starry. I also love how they gave customers 2 months of free internet during the lockdown.

    I love Starry. Their internet is fast and affordable. I had an issue once and they resolved it within 30 minutes.

    Nobody picking up phone you cannot reach them. I don't have internet connection, there is no way to reach you out!

Then out of the blue, zero services - no Internet (we have jobs and kids who need access for school) and since TV came over the line, none of that either. Every morning, noon and evening I'd get a text saying restoration of service by X (i.e. 4pm the same day). After a day or two that showed itself to be a straight lie. No human to talk to on the phone, either. This baiting fraud went on for two weeks until we switched back to Spectrum. They owed me $7.01 per their recurring bill and kept it for months and months instead of just sending me a check. Eventually they sent a prepaid MasterCard I never requested containing my $7.01 which, if I activated, screwed me over with annual fees, etc. I finally got in touch with someone in the Philippines who said they'd send me a check; haven't gotten it yet - been about a week. Frontier is about the worst company with which i've had the displeasure of doing business. Shady and unfair business practices at every turn, in my view. Stay always unless you're a masochistic glutton for punishment. Consider yourself warned.
