Staff is always friendly and helpful. Parents night out haas been awesome. Our kids love the pool and rock climbing walls, as well as the basketball court and turf. The gym is always clean and there is plenty of equipment. This place is a life saver in the winter when it's too cold to get out but our boys need to burn energy. The cafe is on the spendy side, so we don't eat there very often, but we all like the smoothies. The classes I've taken have been excellent. Child care is very good. It's nice that when I travel, I can use other lifetime facilities. For our family, lifetime has been a great investment! I love this LifeTime location! Plenty of parking available in it's dedicated lot. The club itself…read moreis smaller than most, which I enjoy! Everything you want is fairly close by and it's intentionally laid out: strength on the main floor, cardio on the second floor wing, and studios around the perimeter! The space is always clean and I haven't gone at a time that's been very busy, so I always get my machines! The locker rooms are small, to pair with the smaller location, but they have larger shower stalls than other locations, which is nice! I'll definitely continue to utilize this location often!

Dear LifeTime Member Services,…read more I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding an incident that occurred today at the LifeTime Savage location. The experience left me feeling disrespected, unwelcome, and deeply concerned about the professionalism and fairness of the service I received. I visited the club to purchase a day pass for the pool. When I approached the front desk, I was assisted by an employee named Amy. She informed me that my ID was not valid for purchasing an entry. However, I want to make it clear that a valid ID is not required to purchase a day pass--I was fully prepared to pay the full rate. The issue was not the policy, but the way the situation was handled. Amy's tone and demeanor were unnecessarily harsh and dismissive. Instead of offering clarification or assistance, she spoke to me rudely and ultimately instructed me to leave the building. The interaction was abrupt, humiliating, and far from the level of respect I expect from a LifeTime representative. What troubles me most is that the treatment I received made me question whether bias or discrimination may have influenced the way I was spoken to and handled. No guest or potential guest should ever be made to feel singled out or judged. I am requesting a thorough review of this incident, including: Clarification of the ID policy and how it should be communicated to guests. An evaluation of the employee's conduct. Assurance that LifeTime upholds a standard of respect, fairness, and inclusivity for all individuals. This experience was upsetting, and I hope LifeTime will take this matter seriously. I look forward to a prompt response and to understanding what steps will be taken to address this situation. Sincerely, Ben N.

But I did use the locker room for the women as well as the pool/sauna area and cycle studio. Arriving the staff were friendly, not pushy to join or commit (I was a guest to a friend). One of them literally walked us down the hall and pointed us in the right direction. We felt so comfortable, welcome and had a great workout! Looking forward to returning for another cycle/HIIT class! The class was one that novices and experts could thrive in! The instructor was inclusive and also pushed us in the best way! There were options to modify, make things easier/harder, etc. Great instructor! The locker rooms were clean, although the key system, my friend is used to the code so didn't have a card to use to get the lock to work. The desk outside the locker room has spares and helped right away. The showers were clean, locker area clean, overall great! Parking was....a pain. But I can imagine on a Monday at 5ish, that's the case. Found a spot within 5 minutes and had to walk a few minutes but whatever. If you're looking for a gym with freedoms to use equipment, shoot some hoops, or take a class - check out lifetime!

Lifetime Fitness in Edina is a state of the art gym and lifestyle establishment…read more It truly has everything you need: hundreds of cardio machines, weight machines, free weights, stretching areas, recovery area, fitness studios, group classes, kids academy (daycare while you workout), indoor pools, indoor hot tubs, steam room, saunas, showers, sushi restaurant, grab and go cafe, salon, and lounges with couches and tables to get some work done. Most impressive of all: the rooftop pools, bar and restaurant. It's truly one of the highlights of the city in my mind. Relax in one of the hundreds of lawn chairs, or grab lunch with a friend in the table area. Enjoy poolside service right at your lawn chair or even directly from the pool. Everything at the whole gym is kept impeccably clean and up to date. I recommend Lifetime Edina wholeheartedly.

Lifetime Fitness (Southdale) Review I like the bar at…read moreLifetime Fitness Southdale--interesting people come here. Since many people who focus on their bodies don't drink, I was curious about their "one drink at a time" rule. Turns out, there's an exception--if you order a chaser, you can have 8 oz of beer instead of a full 16 oz pint... for the same price. When I arrived, I ordered: * A glass of tepid water * A Jameson whiskey * A Guinness The bartender, who I know was hired with no prior experience and little training, served me a full pint of Guinness and then left for several minutes to handle something at the register. Meanwhile, I was getting thirsty. Beer doesn't quench thirst, so with a dry mouth, barely able to form words, I asked again for my water. She kindly brought it over. After I finally wetted my whistle, I asked about my Jameson. She told me I couldn't have it because I already had one drink. I asked if they served boilermakers. She said no. I asked if I could get a chaser with my shot. She said sure. Then she took my full Guinness, poured 8 oz into a glass, and dumped the rest down the drain. I tried to stop her, saying she should drink it herself or that I'd buy another chaser since my friend was joining me. But nope--she dumped it anyway. Now, onto my actual reason for coming to Lifetime in the first place--I was meeting a friend. When I checked in, I informed the man at the front desk that my friend would be coming to meet me and that she is autistic, so they should watch out for her when she arrived. He agreed. Yet when she showed up, she was told she couldn't come in because it was members only. Fair enough. But the real issue? She felt scared and uncomfortable because of their loud, stern voices. If I let them know in advance that she was coming and even gave them a heads-up about her needs, you'd think they'd handle the situation a little more professionally instead of making her feel unwelcome and anxious. So, here's my verdict: * If you're picky about service or don't like paying extra for chasers, you might want to avoid the bar. * If you're looking for good sushi, the salmon sashimi is well-priced and hits the spot. * If you're expecting considerate customer service, don't count on it. For a high-end gym that prides itself on service, this visit was disappointing.
