Looking for some paintball fun? Give MN Pro Paintball a try. I went here with a small group for a few hours of paintball. Previously before here the only other place I have played at was Combat Zone in Hinckley which is super fun but very run down so that is what I had to compare this to. This is much more kept up with plenty of picnic tables setup to accommodate our group size which was around a dozen or so. I am just a recreational player so I am basing my review from as such. Things I liked You can do all your waiver stuff online before you even get here, making checking in much faster and easier so you can get to playing. Getting a gross, sweaty rental mask just doesn't sound that great so it's nice it's worth the extra price to have your own mask. You also refill your own air tanks whenever you need it so you don't have to stand in line to get a tank swapped or filled. Lots of tables for you to spread your stuff out on and everyone in your group. Your group is assigned your own referee for the day. Course selection, having multiple courses to play keep it exciting. They have plenty of bottled water for sale which it's important to stay hydrated. Overall it was a good time, the courses are fun & staff was friendly. Paintballs are sold by the bag of 500 so if you go nuts shooting you can run up a decent size tab quickly. The time went pretty quick when I was there, I wish we would have been able to get a few more rounds in but the ref for very insistent pretty much down to the minute about being done once our time expired with no options for continuing play. I also wish they had some food, so plan on bringing all your own stuff to eat as they don't even have snacks in between matches. Overall a good time playing paintball & I would return. read more

I freaking love this place! I have come here probably 8-10 times over the last couple years and they just keep getting better. I have brought probably 5-6 people here for their first experience and it has ALWAYS resulted in them coming back for a second time. The refs are a bunch of high school kids who love the sport and are learning how their first work experience goes. They do a great job and are learning so feel free to give them feedback. They have ALWAYS been open to banter and feedback to make the experience better. I will absolutely be coming back again and will continue bringing new people with me because you will go once and DEFINITELY be hooked to come a 2nd or 3rd time for sure. With regards to the guy who left the 1-Star review, take note, GroupOn Crybaby AND that guy got on Yelp to leave 1 review in his/her entire career... Whatever happened, it was years ago. Mn Pro willfully mislead the 2014 season pass holders that they had an operational indoor facility that was included with the purchase of a 2014 season pass. This was untrue. There was never a indoor facility. The only indoor facility was by another local field operator that has no affiliation with MN Pro. There was no concessions by MN Pro to make any attempts to correct their mistake. They doped and cheated all 2014 season pass holds and need to be held accountable for their actions. *update. The season pass was good till December 31 2014. MN Pro has closed the only field they have for the season on November 1, 2014. Again, they failed to inform all the season pass holders about the change as well as made no concessions. If you are a 2014 season pass holder you need to keep your park pass and find your purchase receipt. It will be the only way you will be identified by the MN Attorney General because I know MN Pro will somehow "loose" your records when asked to produce the customer list for 2014 season pass holders Shame on you MN Pro you stoled from children. You give paintball and other paintball fields a bad name with your deceptions. Paintball manufactures, venders and MN Pro Sponsored teams. You are as guilty if you support MN Pros devious ways. Remove and distance yourself from them Anyone considering Mn Pro think again and spend your money at a more qualified and reparable field. Update: After providing the MN Attorney General with documentation that proved MN Pro negligences, the office forward our complaint to the business and in turn we were refunded our purchase membership. Group of about 16 and we had Reed as our ref/commander. Super cool dude who was very helpful and no question was a dumb question even when we asked his horoscope. They have plenty of game ideas if you get bored of Elimination. Played 6 games and 2 rounds of Gauntlet at the end. Prices are pretty reasonable considering how little ammo we used and had plenty for the shooting range at the end. They will fill your tank every so often and carry replacement guns to the course so it can be swapped out if needed. Was informed that free play is typically on Saturdays and the weekdays are used for reserved parties like ourselves. They hold a card and ID for every player and give it back to you at the end (you can choose to pay with the card you gave them or not). Would not hesitate to go back and getting hit by a paintball isn't as bad as it seems. ALSO BRING BUG SPRAY! The mosquitos are crazy there and that's the worst thing so overall a pretty solid place for beginners and experienced players. read more

Most guys at their bachelor party get drunk and go to strip clubs. We decided to shoot paintballs the groom to be. I had never played paintball prior, but I decided to join the bachelor party anyways. They had different rates from open play to group events. We chose, oddly enough, the bachelor party package. The package included gun and equipment rental, 500 paintballs, a paintball grenade, a ref, and 3 hours of field time. We chose to go on a 90 degree day with a dew point nearing 70. Considering you have to wear long pants and they recommend long sleeve shirts, it was a little brutal. Not smart planning on our part. They have 10 different fields, although we only played on three different ones. Each field has a different set up, size, etc and allows for a greater variety of play. We could've done more than the 3 fields we did, but rather than meander through we played multiple games at each field. Our ref was a kid who couldn't have been older than 16 or 17, but he was very friendly, informative, and helpful. The Rental Gear was so-so. The guns were rather inaccurate, even by PB standards (I'm told by the ones who played more often), probably due to high use and not enough maintance. But for amateurs it was ok. My gun had a nasty right hook..you had to take few shots to see what adjustments you needed to make. Some of the masks really fogged up. At first I didn't know why everyone complained, but halfway through I got a new mask for color purposes (to easily indenity teams) and my second mask was really hard to see out of at times. But, I consider this common when renting anything. They sell masks for 10 bucks, and I'd recommend that, as when they're new and not scuffed up, many of the problems we had are avoided. All and all a good time. I would definitley go again, although I wouldn't be a weekend warrior or anything. They also offer lasertag, but really, PB is the way to go. I only ended up with one welt, so I can't complain. We made the groom to be run the gauntlet....we all lined up about 15 feet away and shot at him as he ran from one end of the speedball course to the other and back, he had several large welts after that. read more

Tons of fun at a bachelor party. We had 8 or 9 guys and got to move from field to field shooting each other up. There is quite a bit of wasted time (though it is pretty phsyically taxing and I'm sure lots of people appreciated some longer breaks between games). I will say, for the money, it was only an OK value. The only package that seemed to make sense ended up being over $90/person, not including the (expected) tip. Our host was awesome (forgot his name, sorry!), but at roughly $1000 for the group, I feel we could have had a greater value elsewhere. Worth it for the occasional event outing though. read more

If you are looking for a place to have fun with the guys over the weekend, this is the place to go. We had 6 guys come (including myself) and I had gotten a pretty good deal by getting a Groupon for $25 each. That includes everything you need to play. Be aware that if you don't want to spend more than a couple hundred bucks for a group of more than 4, it's probably not going to happen. Unless, of course, you're only going to play a couple rounds. And especially if you don't have coupons. Be prepared to wait a while between games (as well as long running time during games) -- we only got to about 4 or 5 fields out of 10 throughout the 5 houses we were there. Also, try to go on a day that is not humid and hot, since it gets hard to breathe through the mask. There are lots of packages you can purchase -- depending on what you prefer. I got the Scout package, which includes 250 paintballs, unlimited CO2, a rental gun and helmet, and all day admission. You can also grab a couple paintball storage canisters and belt for no extra charge. The more expensive packages come with a better gun, more paintballs, better helmet, grenades, etc. Rental helmet was pretty crappy, which fogged up and was blue, which if you're picky about staying hidden would be annoying. It'll cost you another $15 if you want a nice one (which is what I did). Guns are okay -- accurate at about 25-30 yards. After that you have to compensate for where the bullet is curving. And if you are like me and use up your bullets right away in 2 or 3 games, you'll have to pull out some extra cash. I got the 2000 paintball package since we had 6 guys. It was about $80. As for refreshments and snacks, they have things like Arizona beverages, water, Gatorade, Cheetos, Salsitas, and Doritos. These can be found in the main building to the left when you walk into the place. One thing that really got to me about this place is the fact that you have to buy paintballs that are only from their field. I had about 2000 unused paintballs from this other paintball field, and thought that it would be nice to use them up on this trip. To my surprise, I was told I would be kicked out for using them. I understand that's their way of making profit, but come on guys. All in all this place was very nice, especially for the casual paintball player. It hurts to get hit with a paintball straight on, but lots of times they will bounce off. Be ready to have welts! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and it seemed like they cared. I will for sure be coming back with the guys for another day here. read more

Went there this weekend. Was pretty dissappointed. Attended a pro clinic and that part went well. Said clinic was starting at 9 so I showed up at 830 but they didnt open up til 930 and even then it was one window taking at least 5 minutes per person. Once I got to the window they said I needed to do the waiver at another spot so I waited in another line, came back to the first line and then got to play. Their Air stations all leaked except for one that only filled to 3000 psi which any airball player knows is pretty bad. Bathroom is a hike up to the parking lot rather then by the staging areas. Staging area was one of the few nice things there. Airball field is outdated and deflates constantly. Was told 1 case of paint was included in the clinic price of 100 dollars via the internet and I called to confirm but my bank statement says otherwise. This might be cleared up but not as of now. Paint was so so. Pretty bouncy. but hey at least it says the field name on it :/ NOT COMING BACK! Oh and food truck guy was cool but I had to wait for him to come to his truck first. They promised us discounts which we did not receive, in fact they charged us a higher rate than the walk on rate. They promised us we could give them an estimate of player attending, not an exact number but of the day of play they aggressively enforced an exact count, something they said they would not hold us too, they charge $266 to my personal credit card with out my authorization for no shows. They said we could play as long as we wanted but told us to turn in out guns when they knew many of us had half our paint left. Our group didn't even have a picnic table in which to set our things or rest on, it was more less a field of weeds to sit on. Ayo yelp users if your really using yelp to find a paintball place your doing something wrong.. but review time, referees did a great job very helpful and knowledgeable, courses could use some trimming of shrubbery but well laid out, overall pretty nice the reason for 3 stars was team layout they don't give any signal to who is on whose team also just the occasional jam of the gun. But still it's paint ball as long as your doing it it's fun! read more
