If I could give this place stars I would give it 0 stars…read more The gym had no air conditioning, and it was extremely hot inside. It was uncomfortable for both players and spectators, and in those conditions, there is a real concern about heat-related illnesses. What made the experience even worse was the way the owner, Angela (long straight light blonde or white hair), treated us. I've never encountered a business owner who spoke to customers and children so disrespectfully. Our kids and our friends' kids were at the gym. They were being kids, and while I understand that children should follow the rules, I didn't appreciate the way Angela addressed them. She told them, "If you don't stop, you'll be out in the street." Later, when one of the kids accidentally turned off the lights, she yelled that if it happened again, there would never be kids allowed in the gym again. It wasn't the correction that bothered me--it was the tone and the way she spoke to them. Afterward, I went to the front desk to speak with a manager. I asked Angela if she was the manager, and she responded with an attitude, saying, "No, I'm the owner." She then told me I was banned from the gym, that I was never allowed back, and ordered me to leave. I was surprised by how quickly the situation escalated and felt it was handled in a very unprofessional manner. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it, so I had to ask an employee, who confirmed that Angela was the owner. I believe this situation could have been handled much more respectfully. If there were concerns about the children's behavior, she could have calmly spoken with the parents instead of yelling at the kids and immediately banning customers. Professional communication goes a long way. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this gym. The lack of air conditioning was disappointing, but the owner's attitude and customer service were the biggest reasons I won't be returning.

Okay, in this review, I'm going deep. 'So deeeep......put your ass to sleep!'…read more Life revolves around odds and probabilities. I find these things fascinating. Insurance companies use it to calculate your premium and it even applies to simple things in your life, such as getting to work faster because you took another route or the denial of meeting someone new, because your breath was kicking like a kung-fu master eating all those onions for lunch! Anyways, I hope the wiseguys in Vegas don't come after me for revealing a little information on how the world works in the lucrative business of sports wagering. If you all don't hear from me for a long period of time, or see my ass on your milk carton - well, you know what happened. Please send your condolences and throw a UYE party for me. But let's not go off on a tangent here, and let me explain why L.V.S.C (Las Vegas Sports Consultants) is such an awesome company. I studied Criminal Law in college and wrote several papers on gambling with a speciality towards sports wagering. Almost EVERY single odds line that is promulgated on any sports game, at any time, you can pretty much bet that L.V.S.C firm conjured up that number! L.V.S.C is a clandestine firm that actually takes the lead and sets/opens the point spreads in various sports. What is a 'point spread,' you ask? It is the 'great equalizer.' For example, let's just say you're a Lakers fan and want to bet on them every time. Well since they are kicking mad ass this season, it would be too easy to bet on them to win versus a scrub team, such as the Clippers. Well, that is where the point spread comes into play. Now, with the 'great equalizer' it evens out the playing field. So if the Lakers are favored by, say, -14 points, that means they now have to beat the scrub Clippers by 14 points in order for you to win your bet. A big misconception regarding oddsmakers that set the odds is that it is done by a computer. Wrong. It is done with by a staff of real human beings that actually have a keen sense of public perception. Big money casino sportsbooks around the world hire the L.V.S.C. firm services to set the odds for them so they can post it up ASAP. Remember: the casino charges a 10 percent commission on every bet that you wager. So they will ONLY make money if there is an even amount of money in action on betting on both teams or players (boxing, tennis, golf, etc.) ie: 5,000 people bet on Lakers @ $100 each with $10 commission (or in gambling parlance: juice or vig) and 5,000 people bet on Clippers @ $100 each with $10 commission. So it doesn't matter what side wins, the casino will pay the winners and take the money from the losers and make their $5,000 commission. And that's only on one game! There are thousands of bets that the casinos take each day from ALL over the world, from Europe to Asia, to the Caribbeans. Most of time, the casinos get 'even action' on both betting sides and lock in their profit. Sometimes, the oddsmakers may be a little off and the casinos lose. The trick is find that fine line that splits the public perception on the outcome. I can go on and on about how genius L.V.S.C is, but I'll spare you the boredom. True examples of odds that were perceived as incorrect by the public perception. One recent example was the fight that occurred this past December between Oscar De La Hoya vs. Manny 'PacMan' Pacquiao. L.V.S.C. set odds with Oscar De La Hoya being a 2-1 favorite over PacMan. Why? because they believed, that the public would believe that De La Hoya was too strong and too big at that weight class of 147lbs and the fact that Manny has never fought someone that big before in his career. NOT because they actually thought Oscar was better than PacMan. So, De La Hoya had a couple of sparring and training sessions that were viewed by the media and he obviously looked good in them. The betting public perception was now skewed. Hook, line, and sinker! Expert analysis on ESPN and radio predicted that 'oscar will destroy pacman.' So what happens during the night of the fight?? PacMan actually IS the craftier, stronger, and more aggressive fighter and absolutely humiliates De La Hoya! Vegas Wins! One more example: President Obama, after he beat Hillary in the Democratic showoff, was only a 3-1 favorite up against John McCain. Guess what happened?! McCain chooses 'pitbull w/ lipstick' Sarah Palin as his running mate and things go south as she exposes her incompetence. By the time of election day, Barrack Obama shot all the way up to a 10-1 favorite to win the election. There was nothing exciting about it! I posted it up on the Yelp talk the day before that he was going to absolutely win, but most of You were in disbelief. Anyhow, when I become rich someday and open up my own casino and sportsbook, I am most definitely going to be hiring - L.V.S.C. to set the odds!

We signed up a full team for the league and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience…read more Our first game started about 20 minutes late. The second game also started roughly 10 minutes late. We had the minimum number of players required to start (5 players), and at no point did any referee or staff member tell us we were going to forfeit due to being late. Near the end of the second half, a staff member came over smiling and sarcastically said, "You guys know you already lost the game, right?" This was the first time anyone had mentioned a forfeit. Naturally, we stopped the game to ask what was going on. The response was simply that we had already lost by walkover (WO). After that, our team decided to leave. What happened afterward was even more frustrating. A few days later, while I was working with a client and waiting for an important call from a bank, I received a call. I answered and only heard "Indoor 5," so I ended the call because I was in the middle of business. I never spoke with anyone about leaving the league. Later, when I asked why we had not received the schedule for the next games, I was told the manager assumed we did not want to continue because they had called me and I supposedly said no. That never happened. We never had that conversation. They removed our entire team from the league based on an assumption without ever confirming anything with me. When I explained to the manager Alfredo that I was working and never actually spoke with anyone, his response was rude and unprofessional. He compared the situation to losing a client because I didn't return a call. He said "if a client calls you and you don't answer or call back do you think they're doing business with you?" The difference is that before removing a paying team from a league, you should actually speak with them and confirm their intentions rather than making assumptions. Mistakes happen, but the lack of communication, the sarcastic treatment from staff, and the decision to remove our team without ever having a real conversation is absurd. Several players adjusted their work schedules and personal commitments to participate in this league, so being removed without any direct conversation or confirmation was extremely frustrating Everything happened this past week 5/25/26-Today 5/31/26

The class for flying trapeze is 90 minutes, and there were 5 people in it when I went. There are 3 folks on staff, and they are all highly experienced, helpful, friendly and focused. You won't have any concerns about safety. They will walk you through all the things you need to know. I've done quite a bit of flying trapeze, but I'm not super amazing by any measure. This place made me feel better than I thought I was. They literally helped me work on problems I didn't know how to resolve. In addition, in one class, they helped me work on a trick that I had briefly tried. By the end of class, it was pretty darn good and was caught twice. To me, that's talent from the professionals working here, all working hard to cater to each individual student to yield them the best experience possible. It was a surprisingly productive and helpful experience, and I would go back here in a heartbeat for the helpfulness and talent that the staff have. The one sort of bad thing I can say is that Vegas is hot, but flying here at night isn't so bad. It's still toasty, but, it's worth it! I cannot wait to go back to Vegas in order to drop in here AGAIN. If I can help it, I would go multiple times! So much kudos and appreciation for the folks who run this place and work so hard for the students. Thank you!
