We have a very adventurous 4 year old and hired Stas and Laura to put up some slats to block him from trying to climb an open are at the top of the stairs. Everyone else we requested a quote from said that all we needed was to put up a baby gate - but we knew that wasn't enough. Stas' first suggestion was to install vertical slats all the way to the ceiling - which was exactly what we were looking for. My mom contacted Stas and Laura for repairing three interior doors. Whoever lived here before installed them very weirdly so they patiently took the time to investigate and repair all three doors. For one of our upstairs doors they even offered to go to the nearest hardware store to pick up two new hinges for the door. They worked quickly quietly and cleaned up like no one was even here. I hired Stas to install a doggy door in an outer wall onto our balcony. He and his wife arrived on time fully prepared and even wore booties to keep our flooring clean. He was knowledgeable, efficient and professional. Due to the depth of our house wall he had to create a wider tunnel with wood/glue. He also cared what was best for the dog, making sure it was all safe and easy for her to use. They bring their own vacuum and are clean and conscientious. The quality of work was outstanding. Stas and wife did an amazing job fixing a sagging front door that was making this awful scraping noise, making a custom table from some butcher block I bought, and hanging a 75 inch TV. I've had such bad luck with handymen not thinking about baseboards, plugs or aesthetics but these guys were on it! Super high tech equipment for both cutting delicate wood and hanging a TV (seriously, they used a laser leveler). I did not need to double check their work and I would 100% use them again, especially since I think they got everything done in such a timely fashion. So reasonably priced too if you're doing 2 or more projects! read more
