It was a great system and one reason I trusted them. I no longer live in Arizona, but I recently had a wedding in the area and needed a suit and shirt cleaned. I decided to return to Express Cleaners because of my past experience. I dropped off my clothes Monday afternoon and requested Thursday pickup. I also asked for heavy starch on the shirt. I had a few other items cleaned with the same request. When I returned Thursday afternoon, my order was incomplete and one item was missing. The employee told me to come back the next day. I returned Friday and picked everything up. I trusted the order was correct and did not inspect the items before leaving. When I got back to my hotel, I noticed the shirts were not heavy starch at all. They were very lightly pressed. One red dress shirt also had a stain near the bottom that was not removed. That part is on me for not checking the clothes before leaving the store. I did pay extra for the heavy starch and expected the work to be done correctly. I tried calling the store so they could address the issue, but no one answered the phone. I now live in another state so there is little I can do about it. I am sharing this so others pay close attention when picking up their clothes. Check every item before you leave the counter. The quality and attention to detail were not what I expected based on my previous experience.

On Monday afternoon (today) I showed up, handed him my return ticket, he gave me my 8 polo shirts and it was awesome. The shirts look amazing and the collars look great! They're shaped like a brand new shirt right off the shelf at Macy's! In fact, I dropped off a new pair of khakis to them today, as well. They did such an amazing job and their prices are comparable and competitive with other cleaners in the area. I paid $35 for my 8 polo shirts including tax and since I've single handedly ruined so many polos by attempting to wash and press them myself - this was a bargain. lololololol. They said that they cannot do a refund, which is ridiculous. There's nothing in the business or in their policy that states they don't do refunds. I received contradicting information that they can try and get it out tomorrow morning, but if they can't get it out by tomorrow morning, then it'll have to wait till Monday. Which I need these items prior to Monday for work. How can you fix something on the weekend if the cleaners are off on the weekend? Do yourself a favor and to avoid your closing being damaged, go elsewhere.

After 7 days of waiting I called to check status and they had different reasons why had no answer yet. I get it stuff happens but it would have been nice to let me know. Calling back again today because was promised a call back yesterday their computer was down but no one called back. Found out today that yes can do but this point I just want to pick up and take elsewhere. Said would have to get it back from plant. She said will get at 6pm today. Will wait for call hopefully will hear back today. If short handed or new staff then they could let me know. Otherwise I think it's run poorly.
