The entire team here is a little family and as I went thru my few months of therapy, I felt like a became a part of it. Today as I "graduated," I felt extremely sad and like a part of my life was changing. 2 times a week, I would look forward to going and seeing everyone. I worked mostly with Brendan, Daniel, Emma, and Brian. They are all extremely intelligent, caring, supportive, energetic, and patient with me, as I was late for numerous sessions, embarrassingly. Don't let me forget the WONDERFUL gals at the front, Jacky and Karen, who shared the same traits as the rest of the team. The facility itself is kept spotless, sanitized, and well-kept. They have lots of great equipment and something I really liked was that they don't "overbook." There were never more than about 4-5 patients in there at once, so it was never noisy, crowded, etc., which allows you to focus on your therapist and training. All in all, Maxum Therapy deserves outstanding citizen awards and is a shining GEM in the OC community. I cannot wait until I need PT again so I can return to my Maxum family. :)

I have chronic pain, fatigue, and autoimmune diseases, and I started going to Maxum for TMJ. I no longer have issues with my jaw, and I've been treated for several other issues since (tendonitis, scoliosis, arthritis, pulled muscles, surgery recovery, chondromalacia). I was able to return to sports I thought I could never do again. Bryan is a compassionate and knowledgeable practitioner. He's an expert in his field and meets you where you're at. Modifications for your specific case will be offered, and you'll constantly have small wins that make you better. So, the doctors advised me to seek assistance from the fantastic team at Fullerton Physical Therapy & Sports Care, Inc (FPT&SCI) to aid in my recovery and help me get back on my feet. I really don't want to be stumbling around town like a zombie from The Walking Dead! You know, I'm usually a skeptic, so I didn't have high expectations when I went in. I thought they would simply give me a standard sheet of paper with some stretches to do at home and send me on my way. But boy, was I wrong! They actually took a genuine interest in my injury and, believe it or not, in me as a person! It's rare to find that level of care these days, don't you think? I guess I shouldn't have judged my past medical visits so quickly. To cut a long story short, I'm currently receiving top-notch treatment from the fantastic staff at FPT&SCI, particularly Ron, Weasley, Ryan, and most importantly, the lovely Lorraine who always knows how to brighten your day and help you feel more comfortable. I had some real problems with being able to turn my head in either direction because of all the stiffness. They laid out a plan of exercises that concentrated on getting my neck more limber and able to turn without the pain I had had. He was…read moreextremely thorough during every session and always explained the "why" behind each exercise and approach, which helped build her confidence throughout recovery. Every movement and exercise was treated with great care and precision, and his knowledge really shows -- he was excellent at tailoring home exercises for my mom and her exact needs. He also played a huge role in helping my mom believe that recovery was possible with consistency and training. She was initially doubtful she'd ever return to her normal activities, but within just a couple of months she was moving comfortably again and even traveling with no issues. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!…read more As a personal trainer I know the importance of recovery and for a long time I've been using the sauna regularly to help with that recovery. However, the place I went to before only had saunas and nothing else really. so, not too long ago my good friend Emily started working here and she recommended I should come check the place out! This place 100000x better than the last place and pretty much any other place I've tried. Sauna, cold plunge, and compression boots for recovery! They have it all! Saunas are super clean, personal use/private, and they give you plenty of towels just in case you sweat like crazy like me. Cold plunge is also super clean, it was pretty scary at first if I'm being honest but AFTER you do it you feel AMAZING, it's like having that first cup of coffee, nothing better! And finally today I tried the compression boots for the first time and it was super cool, on top of that I got a nice quiet room to my self where I could get some work done will helping my recovery! (They also have a TV in the room if you prefer to watch something while you have the boots on) Highly recommend checking this place out and giving all of these things a try! Lastly, Emily is a super sweet and helpful person if you've never used a cold plunge or have questions about anything she will definitely take care of you! I think I've seen all the therapists there at least once but most of my work is with Dave and Lauren. Both are amazing, knowledgeable and really listen to you as a patient to address your concerns and work towards your progress. I love that they incorporate some eastern medicine to their routine. First PT that I've been to that does cupping and scraping, I LOVE IT! Facility is clean and they make efforts to keep it that way. You constantly see the staff wiping things down and disinfecting once a patient is done with their room/table/station. It is clear that patient wellbeing is their priority!

I soon found out that he was 100% right! Since I started seeing Jason several months ago I've noticed a HUGE improvement. I've seen MANY chiropractors over the years and had grown accustomed to 90 second visits where the doctor doesn't seem to invest much time or effort. However, Jason is the complete opposite! He takes time to analyze your movement patterns, identify the true root cause of your issue, ART, massage gun therapy, and multiple adjustments. The office is so sleek and modern--I couldn't stop gazing at the beautiful interior. Whoever designed it deserves multiple gold stars! (lol) Although the initial price for the intake appointment is a little higher than at other offices, Dr. Gan was very thorough in explaining the type of care I could expect. Despite also working in the medical field, I still get a case of white-coat nerves around new doctors. Dr. Gan--and most importantly, Ruby (the office mascot )--were great at easing and calming those nerves. My body has been through a lot over the years, and I have to say that the few appointments I've had have done wonders for my daily aches and pains. Here, you can tell they don't provide subpar treatment just to ensure repeat visits; they genuinely want their patients to get better and return to full capacity. Dr. Gan even provided me with exercises to help address potential problem areas in the future.
