When it comes to music, Atlanta and Chicago are easy trips to make for me. I've been to State Farm for a few concerts now. -- Blackpink (2022) - 2nd and 3rd time seeing them. -- Bring me the Horizon (2025) -- Twice (2026) All of my seats have been in the lower 100 sections. I've never had a bad time here. During the Blackpink concerts, I even met some people that traveled up from Brazil! I love other venues around the city(The Eastern, Masquerade, Roxy, A few others), but when groups grow, State Farm seems to be the place they play... until they're large enough to sell out the football stadium. State Farm Arena is good enough. There are things to do pre-show around the stadium (Coca-Cola Museum, Civil Rights Museum, Aquarium, Olympic Park). There are a few places to eat around but I'd suggest finding a place to eat before you head down to the arena. Out of all the NBA arenas I've been in, you can definitely see and feel the age of this arena. It gets the job done but it needs some upgrades. The staff is always nice and helpful here. I've started to see the setup in other places now but I seem to remember this arena being one of the first with one of those walk-in, it monitors what you take, and leave without any cashiers or employees being around. (Note: To get into the mini-market, you have to swipe card(puts a hold on your card for 25 dollars). If you spend under that, it'll adjust within days. If you spend over that, it'll also adjust upward. I was skeptical at first but it works flawlessly. Bmth sounded great. Twice sounded great. Blackpink sounded okay-ish... the sound was definitely off, muffled, and trying to be LOUD for part of their show. If one of your acts roll through, definitely check them out here. SPECIAL NOTE: Plenty of parking around but if you can, try buying parking in advance at the CNN lot. It usually sells out but if you park on that deck, it's much easier to get away from the traffic post-show. read more

We had a great time!! The seats were comfortable, the staff were really nice, the areas were well lit, the bathrooms smelled decent and they were clean. The food is a different story (3/10)! It wasn't up to my standards but I didn't starve. My burger wasn't throughly cooked and my cheesesteak looked like someone just stood there, watched the meat brown and slapped it on a roll. I didn't bother eating it because the presentation was trash. My rating is for the atmosphere alone. read more

Got to see my first K-pop concert here and had a blast! The lines to get in looked intimidating (stretching all the way to the garage), but they moved surprisingly fast thanks to all the different entrances. ​The stadium itself is huge with plenty of snacks and drinks for purchase. I was impressed by how clean the bathrooms were, and the cup holders at every seat are such a nice touch! If you're picking seats, the 200s side view was great. The big center screen is awesome, though it might be a little "in your face" if you're up in the 100s. Just a heads up, the outside merch booths are a bit hard to find, so keep an eye out. Also if your driving definitely recommend getting there a bit early and purchasing a parking ticket early so you don't get a higher price day of. read more

It was one of the best times I have ever had with my daughter. She bought the tickets and set us up for a magnificent time. I thought this arena was pretty nice! My friends and I went to the R&B Live tour and sat on the floor. We had no issues navigating our way down to our seats. Security people were nice and helpful showing us the way. Our seats were fine, nothing overly niced than usual floor seats, but not worse either. We had a great time!! We attended a concert here. The boy is mind tour. Our seats were great. The stadium was clean. However getting inside took a while because it appeared to stall during the security checks. They don't enforce clear bags for ladies and their bags needed to be checked before entering. After the show it was like herding cows to exit the building. read more

Overall a good experience. Entry was easy. Signage laid out well and staff helpful. Was here for the M5 concert and the artist was very good. Sound system a tad over on bass and drowned out the singer. Had nice seats and view for some of the performance. People standing is fine but they shouldn't be out in the stairways dancing and such. Fire hazard issues as well as blocking everyone else. No staff cared, and they just watched and turn around and left. Food prices here are very high. We go to concerts a lot but $5.25 for a box of candy and $15 for popcorn (only size available) is a bit much. Overall good read more

I've been here a few times for concerts, and while the artists are great, the venue choice deters me from going sometimes... I'm not a fan of the parking situation here (seems to share parking with Mercedes-Benz Stadium, so we're paying stadium parking prices even when the stadium isn't in use), and the food choices are more limited compared to the neighboring venue's. Prices for food and drink aren't good either, esp in comparison to other venues (like the stadium nearby). My most recent visit here getting only the sandwich at CFA was ~$11. I highly recommend eating before or after the concert. This venue is not as reasonable as other venues to me. They have areas set up for merch, and while the lines are annoying, the staff does try their best to make it so that the merch lines aren't in the way of those walking. Sadly, it's busy everywhere, so people will be in the way regardless. They try to let you wait in line with your group, if you're going with one, because they ask how many and let people go into another merch line together (some lines are split in the middle, so people can pass by). The only good thing about this venue is that no matter where you sit, you will be able to hear the artist very well. The stage itself really depends on the artist, but the sound is truly this venue's saving grace. It's the only reason I'm willing to put up with coming here. Went to see Brandy & Monica. Great show, many surprise artist. I'm from outta town & the Lyft driver had a hard time finding the venue. The gps kept brining him to the parking lot. Once we saw the traffic we were able to navigate to the drop off area. There were two or three entrances. Line still moved slow to get in thru security & it was a chilly evening. Seats were ok, too high up but that was the price I paid. The monitors were clear & big but no mention of the obstructed view. Sound system was good for some of the show. Mics went out during some of the performance/ artist. We couldn't hear Tank. Venue seemed clean. Bathroom & snack stands in different locations. State Farm Arena is a good venue, I've been here for basketball games but also for a couple of concerts. Last night I came to see Dua Lipa and I got a very nice view of the scenario (even when I was right at the top seats), the sound and lights were also great. Because there was a lot going on in Downtown, I took Marta and it was super convenient, it is steps away from the entrance and is easy to navigate. Inside State Farm you'll find food and beverages options and tables to grab a snack before a show. There's also plenty of bathrooms located all over the building. Purchased a pack of six games to take my boys to the games, and overall, have been having a great time. If you go to any games, you definitely want to sit within the 100's or Terrace. The views from the 200 are only good if you sit in A or B; anything above that, you are basically watching from the large television screen. Seats are highly dependent on what game you are watching. Teams that are not as popular, you can get better seats, and usually they go for under $100. For the most popular games, expect spend at least $200 for a decent seat. Secret tip: If you are feeling spontaneous and open to a challenge, I have noticed that during a lot of games, they have a lot of unsold reseller seats available on TicketMaster, about 5-8 minutes after a game starts, those sellers drop the prices of their tickets really low in hope to sell them, or lose out, or be forced to go to the game. This is an excellent time to buy. Just remember, this depends on who is playing. For concerns, etc I have no idea. This is just for basketball, from what I have noticed. For those who can afford it. They have Sharecare Social Club Seats, Harrah's Cherokee Casino Club Seats, Players Club, and Delta SKY360 Club Seats. These are all VIP experiences, including All-Inclusive Food and a Full Bar. These seats seem to range from $500 to $1,000, depending on who is playing. If you are a big baller, then, of course, there are courtside seats, which include all that as well. Expect at least $1,500 or more for those seats. My biggest issue, of course, is that all non-VIP seats have to pay outrageous prices for food concessions. Personally, I think CFA should be ashamed of itself for charging double for its menu, considering it is a sponsor there. $10 for a regular CFA sandwich? Come on... $7 for fries? As for the other things. Expect to pay around $16 for a beer, $20-30 for chicken strips, and $8 for a soda. Another option for food: Walk across the street through Centennial Olympic Park and eat at Waffle House. We do this often, it is much, much less... If you want to save on food concessions, use a Chase debit or credit card, as they do offer 20% off because Chase is a sponsor of State Farm Arena. Too bad they don't charge the same prices for food and drinks as the Mercedes-Benz Stadium here. As for coming here, your best bet is to take the MARTA train and get off at the GWCC/CNN Center stop (now called SEC District Station). My opinion of this place changed a lot when I went to my latest show here. When I arrived I was absolutely shocked at how long the security line was. I had never seen anything like it. It went down the street the length of the arena and then even went around the corner while moving so slowly. The problem is that their security is what security would've been 20 years ago. They make you empty your pockets and even take off your watch before you go through a metal detector. For one person that's not a big deal but compound that over and over again and it causes a huge back up. At a modern facility people can just walk through without having to do that nonsense and a sophisticated system will spot threats. There's absolutely no motivation for the arena to do that though because of their partnership with Clear, which lets you have a separate, shorter line like they do at the airport. And of course they also have Clear sales people wandering around trying to push memberships on you. It felt very slimy and gross. The reason I didn't hit this before is I like to show up in the middle of opening acts. Get here on time and you are in big trouble. I also thought it was incredibly bizarre how one of the ushers tried to stop me from exiting when I wanted to take a restroom break between songs during a concert. She said "I can't have you leave right now". At this point I have been holding it for over two hours and I was leaving no matter what. Just ridiculous. I've come twice once for the gunna concert and even more recently the hawks game. I always have an amazing time here because I visit usually of course for events. The place is MASSIVE. Loaded with places to eat, shop for merch and my favorite, drinks. The staff is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about where sections and seats are. Both events were rainy and cold but walk g inside was warm and well kept. Very very clean and I usually hate public restrooms but I can't say anything bad about them here. Clean and not packed with a line. I love Atlanta and also enjoying activities here at home and the arena is one of my FAV places. read more

This review is my take on State Farm Arena of course. We came tonight to see Katt Williams show. Which was a DISASTER, UTTERLY DISSAPPOINTING he should give everybody they're money back. But anywho getting back to main subject we drove around for an hour trying to get to the sapphire deck. Their was not only Katt Williams sorry show tonight, but their was the National cheerleaders competition as well. The APD had it so jacked up diverting traffic all over the place. Whomever is in charge at the arena that handles speaking with APD about traffic control needs to do better. I mean if such position exist. Ultimately, the arenas food areas is just ok, and spirits stands are ok. Overall, I would say eat before coming here and plan your arrival time at least an hour or so ahead of the event. read more

This was a night to remember. My first time attending an event here and I already look forward to coming again. One thing to note: I Will NOT buy tickets that high up ever again! Nonetheless, the sound and visibility (with help) from the large screens was good , it was just really steep to walk. Of course all the legends were great including Gladys knight in her apparent condition. The only one I'd never seen before was Chaka. She along with the others sounded like a record as I was educated on the top notch superstar lineup of musicians with hers and the other bands. This the level of excellence you expected for Queens of this status. Now arena, fix the escalator and bring down the concession prices and it will make for a perfect event venue. read more

State Farm Arena is a pretty nice venue! It's nicely located in downtown Atlanta within walking distance to a lot of other cool activities, like the Olympic park & College FB Hall of Fame and more. It's pretty easy to navigate the arena. What I really enjoyed is how much art and other things there are to look at while you walk around. They have art hung on the walls from local artists, as well as trophy cases for famous Atlanta entertainment figures and history. I came here for a Hawks game and even though there was a million people it was really low stress getting through security and finding our seats. If you've been to any kind of professional sports event you know how quickly entering and exiting can turn into a nightmare. This was not that way. You can also take the Marta subway train directly to and from the arena. I thought this was a super neat option and could be so nice to not have to worry about parking and navigating driving in the city. I did think that this arena was super loud compared to other venues I've been to- I understand in the main atrium it's going to be loud, but even in the hallways and where the concessions were was just as loud. There was no escape from the noise and that's not the case in other arenas I've been to. But overall, definitely would come here again (though I will never ever cheer for the Hawks, sorry)- I also really like the setup they have for the big screens in the main area, it's easier to see and read then some places. read more

I attended the Florence + the Machine show 5/1/26, and I had to come here to race about the staff. Throughout the night, from getting in line, going through security, getting water, asking directions, and seeing the show, I encountered super friendly people doing their jobs. Without exception, they contributed to a welcoming environment and a fun night. They enforced rules when they needed to, but did so with kindness. Recently attended a Zac Brown Band concert at this venue. Conveniently located in downtown Atlanta. Easy entry to the venue. Surprisingly (for the most part) reasonable food/snacks and beverages. Easy access to my seat and great site lines. Several "big" screens to supplement direct viewing of the performers. Very good sound quality for a large (arena) venue. Really enjoyed this venue and found it superior in regard to sound quality to many, if not most, larger venues. read more

So I have never had seats like these for a concert. When I bought these tickets there was a deal for the three seats. It said they included free food and drink. I didn't really pay attention but when we got inside we went to a special section where we had to scan our tickets again and then we were let into a huge eating area with a full bar, several food stations, a desert section, and lots of seating. It was amazing! Then we got through to our seats, they were the most comfortable seats for a concert, I have ever had! Lots of room side to side and for my legs! There were conpleteky cushioned and had spots for setting your drink as well as power ports to charge your phone! We were in the front row so the view was outstanding but any seat in this section would have been just about as good. The arena was outstanding! A perfect concert venu and the show was one of the better concerts I have seen in a while. If you like AJR make sure you go see them live! Outstanding visually and audio wise. I just might have spoiled my kids and I from seeing a concert any other way. It was really a great experience! One I know none of us will forget! I went to see Missy Elliot's Out of This world tour. I sat on the floor about 12 rows from the stage. I love this area as it was close to the bathroom, bar and eatery. It was a liitle difficult to get to that area. You're boxed in!!! I woukd come back again to see another concert. read more

I came here to see usher! What a great show and getting there was easy. Concessions were quick but of course expensive. I spent about 45 dollars on 1 drink and a plate of tenders with fries. The floor seats had an amazing view and I loved the private concessions area and the look. I wish the floor seats weren't placed so close together. We were sitting shoulder to shoulder. After the show we were directed to the "ride-share lot". After walking through the entire stadium to reach the opposite side. We went outside and realized the cars weren't going to be allowed in. In order to meet our Uber we had to double back and meet them at the end of the block. It took forever in the cold. Leave early and leave out of the nearest door. read more

I came here with my husband on New Year's Eve for a Zac Brown concert, as well as for Holiday Hoopsgiving event on Dec 15 to watch Auburn vs Ohio State men's basketball with the family. Seats are comfortable and good views in the 100 level seats. Food is a little pricey, but I typically eat nearby before a show and walk here from the restaurant. I actually prefer this venue for concerts than Mercedes Benz as it has a more intimate feel. I will definitely be back for more fun! read more
