The World of Coca-Cola 121 Baker St. NW Atlanta, GA 30313 While Coca-Cola is well known for its popular soft drinks, they also have their own museum showing the history of Coca-Cola products. The two-story museum has 8 exhibitions, over 1200 artifacts, and a gift shop. It is not a very large building; for this reason, the staff will intermittently admit groups of visitors into the museum. While you are waiting to enter, everybody will be escorted into a lobby. An ambassador will give an introductory lecture about the museum. Upon his or her conclusion, everybody will be escorted into a movie theater to watch a brief 6-minute documentary. At the conclusion of the short film, all visitors will officially enter the museum for a self-guided tour. The average visitor typically spends 2 hours exploring the galleries. (If you thoroughly observe all photos and written passages, it will take longer.) This location houses the actual vault where the official Coca-Cola recipe is securely stored. Unfortunately, the vault is locked and nobody can see the ingredients or preparation instructions. But, all visitors are welcome to post for a photo-op in front of the vault. One exhibit has a life size artificial town that is modeled after prime locations in the brand's history. Many detailed features include a Chevrolet delivery truck, grocery store, movie theater, and a cafe. There are many interactive exhibits which encourages active participation. You are able to create your own Coca-Cola bottle, clean and refill recycled factory bottles. I enjoyed these electronic games, but the real fun lies with the exhibits that involve taste. The beverage lab kind of reminds me of the experimental candy lab from major motion picture, Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. Visitors can taste unreleased recipes or even create their own. Feel free to have a sample discontinued soft drinks, such as Coke II and TAB. If you really want to get the ultimate soft drink experience, there is an exhibition where you may explore over 100 Coca-Cola beverages from all over the world. Walk around with a disposable cup and try every Coca-Cola product from every continent. This is undoubtedly the most popular exhibit and it is the most crowded. While some drinks may impress your taste buds, others will make you want to vomit. Before leaving the museum, you will pass through the gift shop where you can purchase souvenirs bearing the popular logo. There are a variety of merchandise to choose ranging from ranging from apparel, kitchenware, lip balm, toy cars, and wall art. Once you enter the gift shop, you cannot be admitted back into the museum. If you get hungry and desire a solid meal in place of soda, there is a cafe outside the museum. Again, if you leave to get something to eat, you will be denied re-admission. This museum is a must-see for all ages. Went with the family to visit Georgia and it's top attractions. World of Coca Cola was top on our list. We went with a 15 year old, hoping to get some learning experience. Mission accomplished. I had visited many years ago and always wanted to bring him here. It's a nice museum, and of course, the tasting room is a big hit. It's fun to taste all the flavors from around the world. It was nice to learn the history of Coca Cola, however , the reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because they removed my favorite part of the museum - the bottling area. It's been remodeled into something else. I asked why they did this, and was told because it was too expensive to maintain. This made me sad. This is not a must do thing by any means but I've been a few times over the years and for some reason I really enjoy it. The Coke history is neat but there isn't really a ton to the experience, I still feel like they could add a bit more. The tasting room is probably the best part - trying drinks from all over the world. I still wish they had the actual Coke formulations from different countries but I think they don't want to acknowledge that they have different recipes because they make such a big deal of "the recipe" everywhere. I have visited the World of Coca-Cola a few times. The most recent visit was my least favorite. I'm guessing because of the spring break crowds, some of the exhibits weren't interactive. Guests were being herded from one area to another. The staff wasn't very helpful. The World of Coca-Cola takes visitors through the history of the beverage, allows them to create their own beverage, has exhibits of nostalgic Coca-Cola products and invites guests to taste beverages from around the world. Unfortunately, because of the chaotic crowds and limited assistance or guidance from staff, our party was unable to participate in a few of the exhibits. The tasting room was so insane that we visited one side of one station and left. People were literally elbowing and pushing people to get to the machines. Not worth it! I will say, the Pineapple Fanta from Greece that I was able to tast was delicious! Had a great time at world of Coca-Cola. It was a guided tour and we were able to watch a short film .try different cokes from around the world which were really really good and we were able to do a lot of fun interactive games. If there is only one tourist attraction you go to in Atlanta, THIS IS THE ONE!! I don't normally drink soda, but I was impressed with all that my ticket offered. My husband who had never had coke in his life tried drinking some samples and love it too. You can mix flavors around (there's a station for making your own recipe) and it's basically all you can drink once you get inside. I like looking through the history of coke and how it went international. Love all the partnerships too like with Labubu and Barbie. There are plenty of photo opportunities including one with the iconic polar bear if you go midday. It's self guided so you can go to all the different exhibits as many times as you want and we went multiple times to drink the 100+ drinks haha. They have tea, juices, and new, foreign drinks I've never had before! There's a gift shop and we got a cute plush for my sister in law who loves coke! First things first is I definitely recommend getting the City Pass if you are planning on visiting this exhibit and the aquarium. The Tasting Room was definitely the highlight of the experience, with so many flavors to choose from. While there were some cool artifacts around the other exhibits, it was so crowded that it was hard to fully engage with all of them. They do a nice introduction before you go into the museum and play a movie to warm you up wich I found touching and a great way to welcome you into the Coca Cola world! I haven't been to the World of Coca-Cola in probably 25 years, and at that time they were in their previous location. I had a blast, a lot of the things about the way they have the exhibits displayed now really work, but there were a couple places where I thought there was too much stuff all jumbled together. Highlights for me were creating my own soda recipe and getting to taste it, seeing the original carafes that soda used to be poured from in the Atlanta Pharmacy where it was created, getting to see an Atlanta Braves World Series ring (Coca-Cola is a Braves sponsor) and of course, the final tasting room where you get to taste sodas from all over the world made by Coke. When you do get to the end and go to the tasting room, make sure to pay attention to some of the Fanta flavors from around the world. My favorites were the watermelon from the Philippines, the pineapple from Greece and the frosty melon from Thailand! Of course, after that, you are spit out into the world's biggest gift shop. So many fun things I was tempted to buy, but I stuck with just getting some of the flavored Chapsticks for stocking stuffers! read more

The World of Coca Cola is a cool attraction if you've never been to it. We were super interested in the tasting experience and that's what made us buy our ticket. When you walk in you get your picture taken with your group and get a postcard with a barcode to the picture. You then walking into a waiting room where a staff member gives you cool facts about the Coca Cola artifacts from room you're in. You're then released into an auditorium to watch a 6 minute heartfelt Coca Cola ad before being released into the actual museum. There's limited areas but you get to see Coca Cola in fashion, over the years, and even taste new flavors to give your feedback. We zoomed through that and went to what we came for, tasting their products from around the world. The floor is mad sticky so just be aware. You get the choice of a plastic cup to taste or you can buy a souvenir cup. There's so many stations. I haven't had soda in over a year so I was super excited to try them all! My favorite has to be the sprite from Romania as it has a nice lemony after taste. I was sad to see they did not have Mexican Coke. read more

There are games, interactive stations, and even AI photo style moments that make it feel modern. Flavor lab and tastings The standout for me was the tasting and flavor lab experience. Being able to explore different flavor profiles, mix, and experiment was ridiculously fun. It feels like a choose your own adventure, but for drinks. We tried a bunch and it was a highlight. Family friendly factor The polar bear area is a huge win, especially if you have a baby or kids. It's cute, memorable, and just wholesome in the best way. Vibe High energy, lots to do, and it never felt like we were just walking through static displays. Great pacing, lots of interactive moments, and plenty of photo ops. Would I recommend it? Yes, 100%. Safe to say that this place has changed for the better over the years. We had tickets in advance and arrived shortly after opening to beat the rush. The overall experience was much better than we expected & what I remembered. I'm a history buff of things, so it was interesting to see how things for Coca-Cola impacted the world. Coca-Cola's reach is incredible, and you get an inside look at how they have transformed, grown, and expanded. Normally, I don't do the formal photos, but it was cool for me and my daughter, and we had some ad hoc pictures taken alongside the formal ones to capture the moment. We enjoyed the interactive games, visual history, the AI captures throughout, and yes, the test tasting in the final area was hilarious. Staff were friendly. Surprisingly, the museum was open about 2 hrs later than the time posted on Google. The museum is also smaller than I expected it to be. I enjoyed learning the history behind Coca-Cola and its secret formula. I learned that the beverage was created my a pharmacist from ATL. I also enjoyed sampling different Coca-Cola flavored drinks. I did not know that the only handwritten copy of the Coca-Cola formula is locked in a vault at the museum. There were a few interactive exhibits. I was excited to learn the difference between traditional Santa and Coca-Cola Santa. The museum is filled with rich history, bright lights, and fun photo op backgrounds. A must-visit if you're a Coke fan, soda drinker, or American pop-culture history in general. Came on our last day in ATL, visit started with a short presentation from a lively tour guide before we were led into the museum. The highlight, without a doubt, is the tasting room... Probably the stickiest floor I've ever walked on lol.. really fun to try so many Coca-Cola products from around the world and see how flavors vary by regions.. (some were great, some were pretty questionable!) If you want to avoid lines maybe as you're being led in you can see how the tasting room queue is and some have even gone in reverse order by going with the tasting room first. There are many interactive games, murals, and all the pop culture references. I also snapped a picture with the Coca-Cola polar bear.. Lots of history throughout. Advertising, art media, even Olympic torches and memorabilia. There's a large vault with the supposed "secret formula" which triggers an alarm (so I hear) if you cross the line. I would suggest coming here right when they open or before they close. We arrived around 1:30 pm and was crazy busy. The parking deck mentioned on their website was full due to other events happening around. Before we could even get in the building itself, there was a line to enter the security portion. We purchased tickets ahead of time and there were supposedly two lines - one for already prepaid tickets and one for purchase needed. There was just no organization at all. Once you make it through security, then your ticket will be scanned and you enter a room which then takes you to another room for a quick overview and short video. I haven't been back here for a minute and they've added some fun stuff that I think is worth seeing. My favorite was the Stories section and we were able to snag a photo with the infamous polar bear. It was crowded in every exhibit and of course where you taste test all the different sodas. I thought the gift shop was reasonably priced as well. All the employees we dealt with were all friendly and nice but wish there were more signs especially outside. read more

Overall, a very fun experience and a pretty cool representation of the history of Coca Cola. I am not a soda drinker but Coke is a classic part of Americana so when we were in ATL we didn't pass up the opportunity to check out the World of Coca-Cola. Tickets were available by walking up or going online. The tickets are a little pricey but you can make up for it by drinking extra soda's (more on that later). When you enter you are herded into a introductory room that is covered with classic Coca-Cola memorabilia. A brief introduction is announced by an amazing staff member (I really wish I knew her name) who was the best Coca-Cola Ambassador possible, which lasted about five minutes. We were then released into a seating area where we watched a 10 minute "feel good" film. Next, we were released into the museum and sampling areas. I love the way the museum and content was laid out. It wasn't the typical museum experience of reading plaques but more of a continuous mural of facts and the Coca-Cola story. After the museum you venture into the sampling areas (there are two) where you can make your own soda and a second where you taste different Coke products from around the world. With all the cool things there is to do in Atlanta, the visit to the World of Coca Cola is a bit of a letdown. I am a huge fan of Coke, Diet Coke especially, and if it's not available, I will usually switch my order to ice tea or just water. So my favorite thing at this place ended up being collecting a few ornaments for my Christmas tree, which I could have done without visiting the museum. There are some interactive exhibits, but they really could have done a lot more with regard to the history and the evolution of the product. We were in Atlanta for a concert and staying right down the street from the world of Coca-Cola, so we decided we had to pop in and check it out. We decided to do the self-guided tour, which was great because we got to see everything at our own pace. It wasn't very Crowded when we were there at all. There's a lot of nostalgic Coca-Cola stuff to see and lots of stuff to learn. A lot of the exhibits are interactive, which was pretty cool. The Coca-Cola around the world room was probably my favorite. It's worth it to buy the plastic cup. That's a keeper so that you can take something with you when you go. We tried pretty much everything. So many neat things in the gift shop. I did a lot of Christmas shopping there. And they have a lot of gifts from other countries with the Coca-Cola brand as well. The highlight of my visit there was seeing the polar bear. He makes an appearance at specific times, so make sure you check out his schedule and pay him a visit! They let you take a couple of pics with your phone but they also have ones they will sell you with cool backgrounds. I guess they do. read more

Not a big soda drinker, and don't really care about their products, but find this recent notion of huge brands creating a visitor experience interesting. Having been to BMW and Volvo centers, they at least let you spend money in their shops rather than paying just to enter. But not these greedy corporate gangsters. More than $50 for 2 to enter their marketing extravaganza. First, you wait to go into a pre-chamber of a variety of marketing/ branded items before going into a movie theatre that shows a 6 minute video of touching vignettes, that miraculously include Coke products. Yes, it evokes emotion, but I was also aware I was being manipulated with their propaganda type film. They had some interactive experiences beyond that/inside, which were fine I guess- maybe better for kids? The big finale finish was the sampling room where you could try the tons of global drink brands they have (but no Coke branded products). Fave part were that those sodas also had country names on them. Big waste of money IMO. read more

When you get in the 1st room, they tell you about the history of Coca Cola before moving onto the vault room with more history and a video. There are a lot of interactive activities to participate in. The history, myths and facts about cola. They have coca cola stations with different types of coke from around the world. They have a scent room when you have to figure out what the smell is and there's a little game you get to play. Giftshop wasn't as pricey as I expected. The world of Coca-Cola wasn't quite the experience I was expecting. I've heard a lot about this tour from friends and family who have experienced it, but I wanted to try it out for myself. It was fun and very interactive. I enjoyed learning about the company's history and growth, and the best part was the taste-testing room. However, if you're older and don't have children, this experience might not resonate with you as much. I felt like I had seen many of these items at Disney Springs in Orlando. The highlight of the visit was the tasting room, where you can sample various Coca-Cola products worldwide. My favorite international soda is Melon Frost. The room features over 50 different sodas to try, but it is always busy, and your fingers will likely get sticky. I brought hand sanitizer, but I wish I had packed wet wipes since the bathrooms were crowded on both sides. Overall, I found the experience to be just okay. It's a nice activity to do once, but I believe the aquarium next door offers better value for your money. read more

Loved this experience! This was one of my favs whole visiting ATL. We spent a good few hours here. There's so much to see and the nostalgia of all the old Coke stuff through the years definitely brought back memories from childhood. The tasting room was quite the experience also! Cool to try the various products from all over the world. There were definitely some really bad ones. Like Peru. That coke product was just purely disgusting and made me gag. The coke from China also -- tasted like drinking bbq sauce from the jar. The gift shop area was large and cool to walk around. I did find a few goodies to bring back home. I'd definitely do this again!! If doing anything around the area it's also best to park in the Coke garage since $20 gets you a full day of parking. read more
