The wings were our starter and they were fantastic black and wings are great highly recommend. My wife and I split the fried chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and the cornbread it was absolutely fantastic cannot speak highly enough. My mom and dad split the shrimp and grits which they also said was great I did try the grits they were lovely, gooey, cheesy awesomeness. My sister had the kale salad as she needs gluten-free options it was easily the largest most fantastic looking kale salad I've ever seen, and she said it was great. The last thing I would probably comment on is the sauces with a name like sauce boss it better have good sauce and it did. Each and every sauce was unique from others I've had but didn't disappoint all where extremely tasty I especially like the spicy one that came with the fried chicken. At this restaurant they don't have salt and pepper on the table and for good reason everything was spiced and seasoned very well. As for service, our server was very attentive, very kind, made great suggestions and all that being that we came in within a half an hour, 45 minutes of closing, you can't beat that!!! If you want boring food don't eat here. If you want the same plain Jane thing you find at every other chain, don't eat here! On the other hand, if you want amazingly tasty food, service and sauces and a good story to tell eat here!!!

The parking lot is always totally full any day of the week. The wife had a brownie hot fudge sundae. I had the pralines and caramel sundae in a waffle bowl. Really delicious home made hot fudge and caramel toppings. Especially the hot fudge. And I make a killer hot fudge. This hot fudge had a fantastic flavor. We really enjoyed both of our sundaes, which are typical Leatherby's over the top, spilled over, can't finish it all sundaes. Our waitress was very smiley. All employees seemed happy to be there. Employees at an ice cream shop better be happy, they are dealing with some of the happiest substance on earth! Nice restaurant (they also have meal items). Plenty of families and kids here. Came on a Friday afternoon…read more This is only walk up and drive thru. Friendly service. Got iced brown sugar latte, almond croissant and cheese danish. I did ask if they make the pastries and she said everything is made in house. They tasted pretty good. The latte had a lot of ice for a 16 oz. I felt like I took 4 sips and it was done. Normally I get a 12oz and am fine. This felt like more of a 12oz than 16. Would come back to try other things
