Great spot to grab a drink and hang with friends and play some pin ball. Their beer is great, lots to choose from!

Was in town for a wedding so decided to check out some spots to kill time. I've recently been into cream ales and saw rave reviews about their cream ales. Service was pretty quick. Friends and I got a flight since there were so many tasty options to select from. Their cream ale did not disappoint and overall they had a wide selection to chose from. Cute spot with plenty of tables and chairs. Location wise could be better since it's kinda hidden away and slightly far from downtown area

This brewery had a nice variety of beers to choose from. I ordered the creamsicle, which wasn't my favorite, but the secret menu has a nice long list of combinations! The bartender was very nice and answered my questions. There are TVs and high top tables to sit at indoors, and don't miss the board games and pinball in the back room!

I stopped in for a pint and luckily for me the night was pretty slow. I was able to order a sampler flight and a few beers to go. I was impressed by the number of beers offered on draft, and liked trying some of the seasonal flavors. Some of the unique flavors included salt and pickle, creamsicle, and pumpkin. I can't say I loved all the beers, but I didn't dislike any of them, and enjoyed trying them all. The building itself has a laidback feeling, and it was awesome to try all the different pinball machines. They are cash only, with no ATM, but it's definitely worth a visit on a tour through the Utah breweries.

Spicy Red Burrito breakfast burrito hit the spot. Excellent pinball selection. Brewski was good!

We went to Kiitos a couple weeks ago during a little weekend trip to SLC and loved it! Every person working there was so incredibly friendly and they seemed really enthusiastic about their beers on tap. I can see why they were enthusiastic as the beers were quite good. My husband and I each had a flight so we could try most of the drafts; we also ordered a couple full pours afterwards. Their Pilsner, Sahti Farmhouse Ale, and Creamsicle beers were among my favorites. As first timers visiting SLC, we also really appreciated the staff informing us of the State Laws and nicely letting us know why bringing in our own water bottle was not allowed. The brewery we had visited before them just took our bottle of water away and never told us why even though we asked, so we were appreciative of Kiitos staff letting us know why this happened. We'll definitely be making this one of our go-to stops whenever we're in SLC next.

Great beer and great atmosphere! I came here for a Pie & Beer event (pies from Flake Pie Co.) This is a cool old building located on the west side of town, parking is easy (there's a parking lot) and plenty of seating. Not too far out of the way of you find yourself downtown. There are cans and cool merch for sale in the front, and there's a bar and vintage arcade games along the back wall with table seating behind the shop area. It's a cool laid back atmosphere with lots of beer artwork around and some plants. Food is available, but not made in house. You've got to order from an app and use a coupon code for free delivery, a delivery person shows up and hands you your order in a bag. We got the Funky chicken sandwich, a chicken breast between buns with VERY spicy Buffalo sauce and pickles, and some chips with guacamole and salsa. The food was good, the chips and guac were a bit salty for me, but they were thick and crispy and seemed handmade. I got the Creamsicle Ale - it was great, I'd have it again. Great place to bring some friends and chat over a beer.

Best craft beer in SLC. Classic brews and a wide variety of experimental flavors that don't suck! Always friendly staff with a tavern vibe. Bonus, they have an awesome lineup of pinball machines that all play well!

I don't want to write this review and i definitely don't want to be honest. Why? Because I may have found one of the last small town bars in the city and don't want it to lose that charm, even if the proprietor may want otherwise. With a recent celiac diagnosis, I thought my evenings of beer and wings were a memory, but a friend mentioned this bar has a gluten free beer on tap that's actually worth drinking. So, the hubs and I drive downtown to give it a try and I wasn't prepared for the time capsule we fell into. Pin ball machines lining one wall, and speedy Ms PAC-man game for a quarter next to the change machine. I can hear a local pin baller telling an onlooker the Jaws machine needs a tightening up like the John Wick has had and he intently starts to go to town on the buttons . I can't help myself when I see the Star Trek Enterprise start to light up like it's been waiting just for me. We keep the tab open because this gluten free beer is worth drinking and the classic rock at just the right volume actually lets me have a real conversation with my husband as the bartender shares he's been here for a long while, he's already 26 and my husband and I both grin at each other, we've been drinking beer since he's had a bottle and yet, we don't feel any distance or agism at play. My faith is restored, if beer is proof that God loves us, and Celiac Disease shows God has a sense of humor, I'm having the last laugh here at Kittos. Will definitely keep coming back for the beer and the whimsy.

An absolute gem in the area! Warm, welcoming brewery that has a lot of drink options though I only enjoyed some of the canned specialty sodas. What got me in the door was the pinball! Lots of great pins in good quality and clearly cared for. All the top games you want to play: Stranger Things, Guardians, Godzilla, and now JAWS. So much fun. As an out-of-towner, I admit I'd be here weekly if I lived here.

Only draft beer so no high points, no food except a hot dog but the beers on tap were all really good

Best dang brews around! I had been here a few times pre-Covid so it was nice to come back and see the place still thriving and serving the delicious flavors I remembered. The coffee creme ale is my favorite.

Thankfully, no reservation was needed but it was still really busy. We were able to get seating next to the window; however I do wish the spacing between tables were a little bit bigger, as it feels like everyone's in each other's conversations and forces you to be friends with your neighbors. Not ideal when you're on a date night or trying to be intimate with someone. For drinks, we were interested in trying something before ordering a bottle or a glass. I didn't realize that for a wine sampling like that, it was $3 bucks... We got just a glass, and I went for a custom cocktail. ON the bill, they call it a "bar roulette," and that ran me $20 bucks... yesh, but ok!!! Dinner choices for us were the Clam Chowder & Wagyu Steak. The claim chowder presentation was definitely unexpected as it didn't resemble a Soup as expected. The changing of menus so I was good and I was good to see a couple things still there, but also familiar with some of the new stuff that I saw being delivered did leave me scratching my head.

"Don't worry honey, it's okay to look, and also throw money at the half-naked women! I promise you won't get in trouble!" Uh-huh. ;) Alright, I digress. Awkwardness aside, Prohibition is a really great place to enjoy a classy dinner, where the meat is served on a place AND on stage, and the cheesecake comes with the price of admission! Speaking of admission, as my wife and I were guests, being shepherded along by our friend, I cannot recall exactly what the "cover charge" was (not much, if I remember correctly...less than $20 for two?), and if reservations are *required*, I cannot say for certain, but I would say they are *recommended* at the very least, because our showtime was packed. Anyway, once paid, you are escorted through a secret bookcase door (SLC residents sure do love their speakeasies, don't they?), and into the dining hall and saloon, where you're soon to have your socks knocked off...well, someone's clothes are coming off, anyway! We were given a table that I dismissively thought was tucked away pretty far in the back and out of the way, but it ended up being one of the best seats in the house, as the table where the performers gathered, prepped, and returned to was just adjacent to us, so we were about as up close and personal as you can get, without getting yourselves arrested. Each of the dancers brought their own style, flair, and wardrobe to their performances, which were spirited and energetic, and a touch racy, without devolving into outright debauchery. It may be an (18+? 21+?) venue, but alcohol restrictions aside, I wouldn't hesitate to take older, more mature teens to a show with similar content. We ordered a smattering of smaller dishes, as we weren't particularly hungry, but the Mishima Wagyu tacos were fantastic (as you would expect), as was the Fedora Fin (Za'atar-crusted ahi tuna), and all of our cocktails. As the show is timed event with multiple performances per night, both food and bev are fired out of the kitchen/bar faster than the bullets from a Tommy Gun, but with far better accuracy. The whole operation here was honestly very impressive, from start to finish. Coming from a progressive city like Portland, it's always struck me a little odd that places that, by reputation, strike you as more conservative end up having some of the best, most wild entertainment venues, that you only wish you had back home. Prohibition is one of these places that I would rather see in my downtown, instead of the litany of seedy strip joints pushing for maximum titilation, but with only a fraction of the class and sophistication. Prohibition is good, clean fun, masquerading as something illicit, which is the heart of what makes it work so well.

We visited at least two, during our four days in SLC. This one was the first: a cathedral-style brewpub with a sports bar aesthetic, with decent food, decent drinks, decent service, and decent prices. Everything was decent. You're not likely to be disappointed by anything you order, but you're not likely to be blown away by anything, either (another thing Squatters has in common with McMenamins, I'd say). During our second visit (to another location, but I'm sure the same rule applies), our party was only interested in ordering drinks (one per person, mind you), but we were informed that we *had* to order some sort of food to accompany them (I'm sure this is more of a Utah thing, rather than a Squatter's thing, but still annoying), so bear that in mind if you're looking for a place to just chill with a beverage and watch a game. Still, the vibe here is lively and friendly; assuming your server is as well, which was a coin flip, in our experience. For a fast, casual chain of brewpubs, Squatters has a lot going for it, and I can see why they are popular, as clearly as I can see ways in which they can improve. A little more focus, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, and Squatters could absolutely dominate in SLC, and beyond.
