090/2024 Although I come here sometimes at this Colton location I haven't really wrote a review . Today was an exceptionally exceptional trip to the store. I had a firsthand experience by being welcomed with a free sample of tortilla chips and salsa. Store always clean and merchandise are neatly stocked on shelves. I came at this particular branch for their sale of BARILLA pasta for 4 for $5. On the shelf were only 2 boxes so I was looking for someone to help just when a gentleman in a nice white shirt with necktie came out from one of the check out stand. I think he sensed that I have a question, he was very approachable so I asked him if they had maybe more of the pasta that I needed and he immediately took one of the box and came back with a big box and had 16 in them ! Thanked him so much for his help! I didn't get to see his name tag but saw his poster when I exited, nice job as an outstanding Manager ..thanks again Mr. Garcia! Working in the area, came to pickup lunch/dinner, chicken breast nuggets seems to be consistent now matter what stater bros. I go to as long as they have ready hot food available. Not all starter bros have the hot bar. Employee that served me was helpful. read more

Came for sirloin thin sliced and the dude gave me every piece of gray meat and 2 nice looking ones. I didn't watch him pack it otherwise I would have asked for different pieces. I had to trim most of the meat because it was dry and hard like jerky lil stinky too. A few weeks back the same butcher told me he couldn't ground some meat because he didn't know where the part for the machine was said he would look for it and gave up after like 1 minute and just came back and told me he couldn't keep looking for it and asked me if I wanted anything else. Half ended up in the trash today.. younger tall dude didn't see his name tag. --__________-- 5 stars cause it's always good service here just not those two instances from that butcher. read more

I ordered a cake on 9-17-25 for my Mom's 83rd surprise birthday party I scheduled it to be picked up on 9-27-25 at 10am. Vanessa C. Is the person who took my order. I looked through the cake book I chose one she was already annoyed taking my order. She tells me we can't make the design I picked. I asked her for a different one that says it's available in the book. She proceeded to tell me no she can't do that either. I chose at least 4 different ones and it was a no to all of them. I was trying to get a happy birthday cake with balloons. I saw a cake I liked in the display case I asked her can I order this one she said yes. The day of my party I go to pick up my cake and the worker Gabriela sad we don't have your cake or order form she asked me who took the order. I was panicking my party was at 3pm. I had so much other stuff to do. I was upset I ordered a cake 10 days in advance and it's not there. Gabriela was professional and nice she offered to make me the cake it would be ready by 1pm. I'm grateful for her excellent customer service. It was still an inconvenience to have to go back to pick it up. The cake didn't come out like I expected it to look but I needed a cake. I recently stopped by this location, and was pleasantly surprised to see that it has been remodeled to include a fruit station, and full service deli and bakery. They also have one of the nicest meat counters in the area, including non-Stater Bros markets. Everything was clean, the carts, parking accessible and their location right off the freeway make it convenient. My only issue is the cart wipes were out. read more

On 4-23-24 at approximately 5:30 PM, I had horrible service. The ATM not working, so my wife requested 200.00 cash back from Kristian the cashier. He had to call for a manager because there was no money at the register. My wife and I step aside and waited for the manager. I had asked Kristian if the manager was on her way because we had been waiting for about 10 mins. My wife then asked Kristian is the manger coming. Kristian in a very rude and unprofessional manner stated, " she is right there." We waited for approximately 20 mins. This uncalled for. The manager Stephanie arrived and seemed upset. Stephine (manager) did not even come over and apologize. I thought Stater Bros was held to a higher standard of customer service and community care. "Far from it." Also, in the morning during the day, I have witnessed the store manager Hector Garcia discipline employees at the deli bakery area. This is very unprofessional and unbecoming of a supervisor. He needs training on how to talk with his subordinates, especially in front of customers. He also has full conversation over the intercom which is very annoying. I believe the workers are a direct reflection of the manager Hector Garcia. The manager seems very young and inexperienced to be a store manger. I hope this is rectified soon. read more

I love that this location has changed to full service! It's so convenient to have hot food ready for purchase. The freshly made sushi is always a winner. The store has always been and continues to be neat and organized. More importantly, the sales clerks and service people are so much nicer. They are polite, friendly and respectful. This stater bros market is clean and pretty big. They have friendly employees ready to help. Deli is clean and tidy. I would shop here for everything except 4 meat! The meat area is a Hot Mess and they touch their meat with bare hands!!!! That is a Big No for me!!! I cannot buy meat from somewhere where they don't have the common sense to put gloves on. Like who want somebody's bare hands touching their food. Me as a customer should not have to ask somebody to put on gloves it should already be known! When I asked him to put on the gloves he looked at me like I was batshit crazy. Needless to say I did not buy any meat from there. This is not the only Stater Brothers that does this. There's only one location in Highland California where they properly put gloves on because they know it's gross to touch meat with their bare hands! Stater Brother really needs to go around and make inspections at there locations because someone's going to get sick as f***! read more

I spend a lot of money every week on this store because theres no other option here in colton, ill beed experience the worst customer service and i just been patient... they always break my eggs... once i ask one pf the managers a question and she just answer.. im on my lunch!!! Like really you can just answer i dont know... or somethibg insted beed rude!( the skinny manager with big eyebrows) and they always forgot to put gorseries on the cart.. this is the second time... and i call and they just dont care... they told me come to the store with receipt insted of hold on my grosery bag.. i have to drive home and came back.. plus receive an attitude its just not ok read more

Everytime I shop at this store I feel so welcomed! Every employee is knowledgeable and helpful you could tell they are properly trained by the manager. I shop at many stater bros stores but this one is by far my favorite. I drive past a few markets just to go to this store because it is worth it! I was in this store yesterday, 9/25/20, at 5pm and I counted five employees, including the security guard, who had their masks pulled down below their noses! Get it together, people. Masks are useless if not worn properly. I've noticed this at this location many times, but never at other Stater Bros or other grocery stores. read more

It would be really nice if the Stater Bros in the Colton, Rialto or Bloomington areas get updated. They all seem to be just a bore to shop at. There's really nothing nice about them. Stater Bros in other areas have really nice stores with really nice dell's, bakeries, meat counters, florists and even coffee bars while shopping. read more
