Went in for some late night shopping, a little after 10:15pm and I wanted a simple cake already made and I had asked the Service delivery closer if she could kindly help me, she gave me attitude, didnt look up to acknowledge me and kept repeating they're closed and she couldn't help and went back to her cleaning. I even said she didnt have to write on the cake, even though i wanted her too but i just settled for the simple cake. I've asked her nicely 3 times and in those times she was extremely rude. The closing key carrier had to come and grab the cake i needed after I went through the closing checkers line. The courtesy clerk even was trying to tell me they can't help me because she's cleaning, which is a ridiculous reason not to help me by simply grabbing a cake, printing the label and boxing it up. They kept saying oh she's new, but customer service is taught and stressed mostly first from what i remember. Thank you to Jose the manager that helped but that service deli clerk definitely needs coaching on the service aspect of her job and not just cleaning. ​ read more

I had a last-minute order for the bakery, and I called it in over the phone. Yes, I waited till the last minute and it was my fault. How ever I called in the order and the young lady that took the order I told her exactly what I wanted and she executed it amazingly service was great when I went in the store to then thank her. They didn't have a meat cutter available so he rolled up his sleeves washed his hands and put on his PPE and cut our steaks to the desired thickness for us to enjoy our Valentine's Day steak and meal. The manager Brian Soto hands down is really about going above and beyond! When I say Brian gets a job done! Brian works exceptionally fast with getting responses and getting things accomplished! He walks around the store greeting customers, walks around making sure if you even look like you are trying to find something he makes sure to ask you if he can help you find it! All his staff are a reflection of that as well. When they say that it starts from the top this store is a true meaning of just that. The store has very limited specialty groceries. And the bathroom is filthy and the toilet was clogged. In urban areas the markets are very subpar and neglected. read more

I came in today to get a bouquet of flowers. I was very pleased with the large selection of fresh flowers they had. I appreciated that the flower department was well organized and had a large selection to choose from. I needed a bouquet customized for a special occasion and Adriana helped me and went out of her way to make sure that it was perfect, I was so appreciative of the excellent customer service I received from her , she was so talented and I really felt that after she was done putting her special touches on it I felt like it was comparable to a flower shop hand bouquet for a fraction of the price. I have a closer one to my house but I rather drive a little farther because this store is always clean and the employees are so nice from the meat department to cashier and especially the Manager I think his name is Brian. I am always in one Stater Bros. or another here in the Inland Empire. When I moved closer to this one a little over a week ago the sink in one of the restrooms (women) was not draining or broken so they had hand sanitizer on the sink. I was disturbed by this and tried to find a checker that wouldn't have used that restroom earlier... they were all women. Today, this sink is still not repaired!! Mind you, I've been here about four times since the first time I saw it. I don't care what the cause people are buying cooked/prepared by "hand" foods from this place, employees are handling raw meats, and to have a non-working sink in an open restroom is unacceptable!! Now the other restroom has a sign that says it's out of order. This company has too much money to be going more a couple of days with this issue. If you shop here check to see if the sink in the Women's bathroom is repaired. Think about the women's hands that have to handle all of the stuff you are buying.... I personally don't appreciate germy lol hands on anything lol but that's life right, however I don't have to accept the image these type of germs too. BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD SHOPPING AT THIS STORE. The deli counter employees are disgruntled, rude & don't want to do their job. EVERY SINGLE TIME I come in this store they NEVER have fresh food out. I came 12/4 @ 6pm to order chicken tenders and potatoes wedges. There were no potato wedges so I asked for fresh ones. Along with a fresh order of chicken strips because they had been sitting out all day. JONATHAN M (whose attitude was beyond repulsive) refused. According to him they have to serve what is out and can't make fresh orders. If I'm paying for an order do something as a customer I have the right to have it done FRESH. They pretty much try to BULLY you into buying old hard chicken. I asked for a manager (JOEL) who obviously was inexperienced in running the front and customer service. I waited 30 minutes for him to come to the deli counter before FINALLY going to find him myself and explaining the situation. He goes to the back and comes out. Tells me they'll make the order but I'll have to wait for them to clean the fryers. (I had already been waiting 30 minutes from when I originally stepped in the store and placed the order) he told me it would take 15 minutes. Back to JONATHAN M After speaking with a manager he still proceeds to ARGUE with me over making the order I asked for. It then gets to the point he starts extending the time frame for "cleaning the fryers" from 15 minutes to FORTY MINUTES. And apparently they only have ONE fryer. This was by far the worst experience I've had shopping at staters bros. This lack of work ethic shows they do not value customer's business. I shouldn't have had to go through this many hoops just to order food that I AM PAYING FOR. Definitely following up with corporate. Their needs to be coaching's done on proper customer service and how to treat people who spend their money to shop there. In synopsis I spent 48 MINUTES IN THE STORE. All of which going back and forth with an employee and poor management. And to which NO FRYER had been finished cleaning :) read more

I don't know who to blame, management or inconsiderate customers. I've tired of the number of times people are in the Express line with a cart full of groceries, and then at then end decide to buy a lottery. Mention it to the clerk and you get a blank stare. And as others have noted, the deli counter people are generally never to be found. read more

I really love this store. Although I do wish they had the sushi guys there,the fact that every employee that works there is absolutely amazing, helpful,and personable makes up for it. The bakery has a lady that is so amazing she should own her own shop!I highly recommend getting your cakes here! The employees here don't know what customer service should look like. Most employees I've encountered here are not friendly or kind. I can't ask for help to find stuff around the store because the employees here can't be bothered and when I pay the cashiers are not too friendly. The only thing that's keeping me from rating this store a 1 star is that they're always good about keeping the store clean. Save yourself some aggravation and order your birthday cake from somewhere else. The cake is delicious, but if you care about how it looks, go elsewhere. I've ordered two birthday cakes from them this year. Both were a mess. The first one I ordered last month, I wrote off as a one off. Assuming they had more than one decorator, I ordered another one this month. If I wanted cakes that look like they were decorated by me, I would have done it myself. Very disappointed. read more

The store overall is clean. However the customer service is horrible. There are only a handful of cashiers who have been here a number of years that for the most part know what customer service entails. However all the new employees have NO CLUE. It is 1 out of 5 times that I check out that a cashier even acknowledges me. They are usually talking to their co workers about their personal business, some of which isn't exactly work appropriate conversation. I typically have to say "how are you?" to managers as well which is probably why their employees don't know what exemplary customer service is. Very disappointing every time I have to shop. read more

Well, this is the closest grocery store I live near that is like Safeway. I'm from up north so I'm used to going to Safeway. You don't need a membership like at Safeway to get discounted items. This is a straight up grocery store and my experience with the employees has only been pleasant thus far. I live close by so naturally I go shopping here. The employees are very rude. I hear them using curse words while working. But Gissell one of the checkers is the worst. She was rude to my disabled father and when I spoke up she gave me an attitude. Then the box boy started laughing. I called a manager and the main office about this. I have gone in a few times since and she is still rude. I have gone through her line since and she looks pissed off and just has an ugly attitude. This is the closest Stater's to my home so it's convenient. However, I prefer to drive out to the Stater's in Loma Linda for seafood & meat because they seem to be of better quality. Their Deli counter is better stocked as well. I buy the general stuff (canned goods, Redbox rentals, produce, cereal, etc) at this Stater's. God, I should move to Redlands or Loma Linda. read more

My local stater bros was closed for money orders, so I drove to this location. I'm never one to leave reviews, but the guy who helped me out named Alejandro was extremely rude. I've never done a money order before, and he was not helpful or nice. Just because someone doesn't know how it works, doesn't mean you can give attitude and be rude. If you have a disability you better come looking the part or else you will not be provided with accommodation or assistance if you ask a store associate. At least that was my experience when I visited this particular stater bros market. News flash, disability doesn't always have an apparent image or stereotypical appearance. I wish I would have not been refused assistance when I asked the young store associate for a basket, they literally told me to retrieve it myself and chuckled to one another at my request. As a customer who has visited staters other places before, this was the most embarrassing experiences and I am sure if I would have obviously looked to be suffering from a disability I would have been helped. But it is sad that that must be the case. I hope management will stress quality customer service and the fulfillment of simple customer requests to their future hires. read more

Love this Stater Bros. This is the closest grocery store to my place and my son and I love goin there. The cashiers, baggers and other staff have always been nice to us and helpful too. My son loves one of the cashier ladies so much that he's been calling her his wife for the last couple yrs lol. It's adorable. Love this Stater Bros! This one is the closest to our house and is always well stocked. The meat guys are super helpful. I get some great meat on sale. We often buy veggies at the farmers market but most everything else from here. We appreciate the friendly staff and the lack of strikes. I appreciate the good selection. read more
