Smart N Final has gotten way better! Inside is a lot more organized and well maintained. Employees are welcoming and super helpful. Isle are nice and tidy. Love their meats selection and the prices are usually pretty decent. The produce here is hit or miss. Sometimes they have a lot of rotten and wilted stuff. Which makes it a big inconvenience to have to shop for produce elsewhere. Other than that this Smart N Final is a great place to shop. Especially for big families that don't want to go to Costco. read more

I love how smart final so close my resident but had bad experience after spending over $300 grocery ! well my experience was I had deaf guy ask me help him find item ! however I couldn't help ! so I seen one employee i asked employee he needs help but seem like that employee was hesitant to help him . and grabbing some fruit Vegis I wanted some avocado but they were all mushy and so many small bugs flying around a lot of vegetables! I purchased strawberry a lot them were soft on bottom had thrown them away . I will not buy fruit or veg no more . Come on smart final pls do better in quality ! read more

This is my local grocery store. I will say I love the people that have been there from the start...BUT. WHY ARE THEY BUSTING BUTT to take care of people when they have workers pushing a broom while on the phone, or restocking on their headphones?! I can't walk down most the aisles because they're blocked being stocked. Those employees as well will ignore you and wait for you to leave. Nobody even says EXCUSE ME. I left early today because I couldn't deal with all the blocked aisles and crappy employees. I guess this is a sign of the times, but step it up guys. read more

Don't recommend this place!!! It's so bad. Managers Miriam and Angel are truly so rude and unprofessional. The way Angel treats his employees is also so disgusting to watch. and that was just while I was shopping there. Can't imagine when customers aren't around. It's so dirty here I seen roaches. and the meat room just by walking by you can tell it's not sanitary. Rags all over the floor. The Rotisserie chicken doesn't look too good either. lots of flys around it and Some containers even open! SOO DISGUSTING zero stars if I could management and everyone who works here is TRASH. Three generic words, an ampersand and an exclamation point... somehow it all adds up to decent discount food store! At home, we have places like Aldi, PriceRite, and Save-a-Lot, which are ultra cheap grocery markets... you sacrifice selection and service for a great price. Here, you definitely get some good deals, but it's not quite as aggressively austere as the aforementioned brands. Even the guy stocking shelves was nice. He was always yielding to us as we shopped, working around us. Again, this isn't a full-fledged supermarket, but they provided adequately for the basic foods we needed. Only slight disappointment was the meat department - I kinda expected better prices. Still, it's worth your time, and this is a clean example of the chain. read more

Just a quick recognition to the manager Sarah and sales associate Ignacio on staff tonight. Went in looking to purchase some chopped bagged onions and was told they should be in the freezer and sales person just pointed towards freezer direction. After no luck locating the onions I found another sales person who actually walked over to freezer to check then proceeded to ask the manager if they had any. She then went out of her way to go check the back. I can't express how much their great customer service means. I've been in retail for 30+ years and the importance of great customer service is impacting not only to the customer but to the business as well. I haven't been to this store in a year. I am shopping just for little snack and a few packages of meat. I begin to cook the chicken wings I bought on Thursday and the chicken wings are rotten. Third person in line, first one goes through, not asked if they wanted bags, stuff just packed in bags not charged, Cart not scanned, second person in line huge food order split up in three for food stamps. All bagged and given away for free, not asked, even double bagged the milk. Cart not scanned. Third person in line me!!!! Do you have bags or do you want to buy some. Had to bag my own stuff, then wouldn't let me leave without scanning the darn cart. Here is the big difference!! Customer 1 Latino, customer 2 Latino, customer 3 native Indian but looks Caucasian!!!!!!! Cashier Latino. Had stopped shopping here a year ago because of this exact issue. I purchased Hoffy bratwurst at S&F Colton. When I opened package they were SLIMY. I was not about to eat them. Took back to S&F they gave money back, but I was surprised nobody was interested in checking remaining stock to see if it was as that way. First time visiting this location and the cashier provided the worst customer service. She was rude.

Excellent shopping experience because everything on sale was in stock, aisles were clear and the people were polite and courteous.

I frequent this smart and final because it's close to home, so it's convenient. I usually visit in the morning, and sometimes it's busy, and I have to wait in line for a bit, that I don't mind. However, when there's no one in line and the customer isn't being helped after their presence is acknowledged, it is a whole different story, which was the case tonight. The associate saw me waiting in line as she was cleaning the belt on the next lane. I get cleanliness and all that good stuff, but a paying customer wants to get in and out, and the belts can be cleaned after the customer has been helped out. There needs to be a sense of urgency around helping out customers. I was waiting for over a minute while she was cleaning. A simple "Hello, I'll be right with you" would have made me stick around, but I left. I shop here out of convenience, so it's a little pricier than some of the competitors, and I'm okay with that. But if the customer service is substandard and prices high, I'd rather take the 7 min drive to Walmart. read more
