Car got towed after an accident, driver was very nice and helped me calm down after my accident

The whole experience with Statewide Road Solutions felt rushed and stressful while I was stuck on the freeway trying to figure everything out. The dispatcher, Cassandra, was rude and dismissive when I was asking basic questions about the process and pricing. I didn't feel like I was being treated professionally or given clear answers. I was told the tow would be billed around an hour since it was a very short distance, but then it was changed to 1.5 hours, bringing the total to $591. I also felt pressured to accept it in the moment. I was asked to send a photo of my debit card to the driver for payment, which made me uncomfortable, and no itemized invoice or breakdown was provided at the scene. read more

Cassandra was so polite and extremely helpful I usually do not have good experience with tow yards but I will definitely use this company in the future due to the customer service I received not only did she give a updated timeline on my car she was so patient with my whole situation getting your car towed is a nightmare but not when Cassandra answers the phone ! Tow companies are like vultures but our experience with Statewide was absolutely fantastic. 40ft RV broke down - the company Geico recommended refused to tow the RV bc they are a very technical tow. Our buddy recommended Statewide - dispatcher Brent was awsm - got the wrecker out within 2hrs as promised. Just to be sure it was hooked up right (radiator is at the back of the coach so one wrong bump & radiator is toast), our awsm driver Ryan called out his Supervisor Matt. Matt showed up within an hour and supervised the entire tow to the diesel shop. The guys were extremely experienced and professional. Matt is a very valuable asset to have at any tow company and we are grateful for his expertise. read more

Will tell you to be there at 8am, but it's almost noon and I'm STILL waiting for the driver to show up. Keep in mind, I scheduled this in advance, it's not a roadside emergency call. I even paid for a hotel room in the area to make sure that I was here on time. If you value professionalism, use another company. I couldn't believe when I went to get my car from the lot here they parked my car so recklessly right next to a big rig! Literally inches away from touching. I wish I could give this "business" 0 stars, they charged my 90 year old grandpa over $400 to tow his car 2 streets over, which is a minute away. Keep in mind he didn't get to choose the tow company, the officer did. They are a scam. When we called them about it, they were very rude and hung up. Zero stars would be more appropriate. I was given an ETA of 1:30; excessive but it was thru my work. After an hour I called to confirm that they would meet the ETA given that I was told they were only an hour away; "Luke or Lou's" confirmed that they would meet eta. Waited 30 minutes and nothing. I ended up calling 5 times and they showed up after 3 hours of waiting; twice as long as they had initially told me. Some Brent guy said 15more minutes on the second hour of waiting. DONT TRUST THE DISPATCH clowns. The guys finally arrived, he was actually only coming from a city only 30 min away and not an hour and thirty min away how they initially said. NOT ONLY THAT, he received my request over an hour of me making the initial call! WAIT THERES MORE, he tried calling me and when on to show me the two different telephone numbers I provided during my initial call... BOTH TELEPHONE numbers were taken down incorrectly! BOTH! Not to mention everytime I called, including the first time, I felt rushed and unable to share more information that could help the tow truck locate me. If you can choose another tow company DONT HESITATE. This one is a joke, unreliable, and liars. No one took any accountability and all I kept hearing was lies and excuses for their poor service. My 90 year old grandfather was in a car accident, his car needed to be towed 2 streets over. They charged him over $400 and when we called to ask about the charges they were very rude and hung up on us in the middle of us asking another question. They are horrible for taking advantage of an elderly man like this. Don't do business with these rude people, they'll just take your money and hang up on you. Big Time scammers! Not truthful and will charge you as much as they can! If they think that your rig is under warranty that's all the better for them! I wouldn't trust him with my pets s***! But they try it really nice expensive rigs I learned that their friends with their Peterbilt in Fontana California. I called the Peterbilt dealership to ask which tow truck company they use. I thought this would be a good way to go about finding 80. But I think they're all in cahoots together. Be warned everybody. They pulled my tractor and trailer 55 miles and charge me $1,750 I'm not sure what the association is but the sign outside the establishment where they claim to be their yard says Tipsy Towing. Super expesive for very little work...when I went to pick up my car the next day...not even on a weekend...they only had 6 cars in their yard...nobody is refering them except police rotation...this company has priced themselves out of the market. $330 for a 3 mile tow working car with keys...no damage...12 hrs on their lot...I hope they go out of business...PIMPS! read more

Consistently tell me the driver is 1 and a half hours away from me throughout the night for a tow and 6 hours later the actual driver calls me and tells me he just clocked in like an hour ago and that he is now actually an hour and 45 away. At least be honest instead of making us stay up waiting for your driver who's never going to come all night. read more

Cannot give this fraudulent company a zero stars but wanted to share my experience. I had my vehicle stolen in December and this company was supposed to pick up the vehicle and come to find out five days later it was NOT. Had to file another police report and per the tow truck company the vehicle was no longer where it was found (how stupid for them to think it would be). Now 5 months later I am being sent to collections because apparently the vehicle was recovered three months later and I am now responsible for the storing charges when I had no idea the vehicle even existed. looking at all the bad reviews I can see now what type of company this is "Shady"! Very rude people, except the guy at the check in office, you can tell he's just doing his job. Anyway, they tried pulling this little gimmick like at every other tow yard on the face of this earth, where the registration isn't in the vehicle. We insisted and persisted to say that it was. They wouldn't budge and told us they didn't want to touch anything because there was blood everywhere (the vehicle was in a severe car crash and he was injured and covered in bandages). Funny thing is, the bandages are cold packs and wraps from having blood drawn. There was NO blood in the vehicle. So we proceed to tell them, "Blood? Nah you got the wrong car." Even then they still tried to persist and say it wasn't there and we need to go to the dmv. Eventually they let one of us sign a waiver and go to the back to check it out. We literally only wanted to collect the belongings that were left in the car (tools, medicine, PERSONAL INFORMATION.) They come back and low and behold the registration WAS in the car!!! You just gotta stand your ground and get shit done. read more

These crooks picked up my semi after a brake down and wouldn't except payment until next day in order to collect storage fees. I have sent them multiple credit authorization forms and offered to pay cash in order to get my truck fixed and on the road and they wont accept it because they are mad that they hooked the truck an hour ago (the time it took my employees to contact me and me to get to an office to fill out the form). They provide no excuse to not accept payment, because they have non. They should be reported to the state for stealing, because they are using state issued licenses to do so. Statewide dispatched Craig and a beautiful wrecker to our house to transport our 37 foot RV to a service center as part of an insurance claim. I am a very picky customer and am not about to let someone damage our property. Craig treated our humble RV like it was his. He was careful in hooking it up and did a great job of route planning to avoid dips as the rear sits quite low. I drove behind him on the way to the repair shop and simply could not believe the care with which he operated. He was just as considerate when he arrived at the facility and left our rig exactly as he found it, except for not rehooking the driveline. He remained professional, approachable and was clearly very knowledgeable. People in the towing industry only get to meet customers when they are having a tough day. My big truck, tractor trailer broke down under Dancan Conyon Road on the I-15North for extreme exhaust gas temp. The dispatcher said it would be about 30-45 minutes, the driver just got back from a run and is on his way. After, 1 hour 15 minutes, I called again, dispatch said another 15 minutes, after another 45 minutes, called again, dispatch said he is on his way, almost there. After another, 30 minutes, called again. After 3 hours and 45 minutes, the driver showed up and at that time, the exhaust gas temp had gone done to operationg temp. I drove to the service center, telling driver to shove it, you lost this tow. read more

I've never written a review before, but for this occasion, I personally took my time off to write about how terrible I was serviced. This is probably the most unamerican place with the workers who have the worst attitude and care for your satisfaction ever. I got my car towed here, and it was totaled. I tried to take a picture of the car to have visual proof of the car condition and the old white guy who took me to see the car wouldnt let me, saying that "it is by law that you cannot take any picture of your, there are other cars around you that we are liable for and we dont want you take picture that have other cars in it." Im not sure if the law he referred to was even a thing, but I was asking if i could specifically take pictures of my car only, still, he wouldnt let me. Then, when I was attempting to make a payment, but my card was declined because there is a certain limit on my account that I reached, and the bank said it was for security reason that they established the swiping or withdrawing limits. So, I was planning to have my dad pay for me via phone (my dad is not on state), but the old guy wouldnt let me, as he insisted that I must personally pay for it. That was what confused me, i have been on so many services and there were literally no places that wouldnt accept payment from a third party, but these guys dont accept it. To be honest, I dont understand, if you want the money, then i'll pay for the money, does it even matter who pay for it. I thought he might be afraid of some transaction fraud over the phone, so I have my friend come to pay for me with his credit, surprisingly still, he wouldnt accept the payment. When I told him if he could make an exception for me to make a partial payment today, and then come back for the remaining payment on the next day. Another white guy appears to be his son i suppose yelled at me "either you pay the entire balance or no, dont waste our time." The towing service was like 200$ per hour (cant believe how expensive the rate is, that is even more expensive than the rate for a 10-year experienced lawyer at prestigious firms). So it turns out that the towing service was 400$. But the storage fee was crazily expensive, and it seems that they would try to make the procedure harder for you so they can retain the car at their place for longer. Overall, this has to be the worst experience i ever had for visiting a service company. I wouldnt recommend anyone to come here, I have to come bcz they towed my car away. The thing is that they dont even call or text to inform you about the towing and service rate. They just let it there and earn the daily storage fee off of your car. If there is a zero star rate, I would have not hesitated to do so this company. I wonder how are they still around after all that terrible services. This is the WORST PLACE EVER. There is a really RUDE guy who answers the phone and gives horrible attitude. (Call yourself if you don't believe me! ) The prices to have your car in there is RIDICULOUS. Of course, me and my family are arguing the amount we had to pay (between us) & this old guy comes out of no where yelling at us and kicking us out. So, I'm confused toward who this old ass guy is screaming at and it turns out that it was the owner.... First of all, idc how big and bad he thought he was but YOU DONT talk to anyone like that. He wanted to kick us out, leave the car and make us pay MORE. So we ignored his annoying ass and paid the bill and little did I notice that there was a huge 'Trump' sticker at the cashier window.
