My experience with Cruise American Riverside was very pleasant. They were friendly and very informative, especially considering it was my first time being at the helm of an RV. There is a little bit of a learning curve, which they understood and sent me on my trip well-equipped for fun and adventure with the family. If you are confident driving large vehicles, I would recommend getting something a little bigger than you might need. I know we could have used the extra space. We cleaned the RV after and were only charged for the generator hours and miles on the RV as agreed. There were a couple of cosmetic things with the RV that I forgot to make sure were documented before I left the lot, but they knew and never tried to hit me with any extra costs. On 10/4/24 to 10/7/24 my complaint about the RV not working on my entire trip as well as my rental experience I endured this past weekend from crest RV & trailer supply ,at 2822 Main Street Riverside Ca 92501 who I rented from, who is contracted as well as advertises your brand treated me as if I was a liar, or if I didn't know how to use a refrigerator or trying to deceive the company for money which was not the case, I was trying to let them know the issue I had during my trip at the drop-off but seemed like Marcia (the person who inspected the return of the rental and who is an employee from Langes), didn't care about my issue or my complaint of losing out $70 worth of food. Her unapologetic response was "There's no way we had that issue because she bought/invested new refrigerators and spent over 2,000 dollars on each one, so I don't think that's right". I explained to her that I ended up calling the Cruise America hotline which was located in the paperwork to let them know the refrigerator was not working and $70 worth of food went bad which in fact the customer service representative on the phone was very concerned, very tentative, very apologetic and was sorry for the inconvenience for this to happen to us, he also mentioned if we would like to go to the nearest store and get food they would compensate us up to a certain amount but unfortunately, we were off the grid, there was no nearest store so we were out of luck so we tried to save what we could and placed it in the freezer but a lot of food was lost. The CSR assisted me and walked me through steps to make sure the settings were on the right temps/functions to confirm it was on the right settings but didn't know why it was not working, so they documented it in the notes and advised me to let the rv rental place aware at drop off which I did advise to them at drop off and advised Marcia(the person who inspected the rental). I also let Marcia know that I overfilled the gas which was ok, and her response was "Oh we don't give gas reimbursement, and I replied which was ok I just wanted to let you know that I overfilled to a full tank, even though that's not what I got at pick which was ok, it was just a courtesy and I was not asking for a reimbursement I was just letting her know, I also let her know and showed her I filled up the propane as well which she looked at it and said "great". I made sure that I based on the paperwork everything was filled up to what was used and had to be filled in on at return. Marcia( the person who inspected the return of the rental) let me know that everything was checked out and the RV rental was cleaned and returned as it was picked up. She walked me back to the front lobby and again I let another technician know my issue as well. She ended up letting me know that she was going to have a technician look at the refrigerator to make sure what I was saying was true as if I was lying, she also let me know that she was unable to close out my rental agreement paperwork because the issue was still pending, she advised me she will give me a call later on that day which I didn't hear from her or the tech that day at all. Day 2 and still have not heard from her or the tech, so I called and asked for her and she said that the tech was not in yet and that she would call me when the issue was inspected. Hours went by and still had not heard from her, it was getting late and the office was going to close so I called again because I needed to close out my paperwork, I felt uncomfortable leaving my major credit card open, but during my call, I got an email from Marcia with the charges, since I had her on the phone I quickly scanned through the invoice and noticed that I was being charged for propane, which I let her know at drop off it was brought back how I picked it up and which was stated on the paperwork, and she even looked at it and said great. Marcia said she would have to charge me for not filling up the propane, I asked her since I mentioned that the refrigerator was not working what was the outcome of that, and she let me know that she had the tech look at it and it was working fine. I let her know how your tech looked at it was it by plugging the v into an electrical hookup or by propane she replied propane. I let her know so I am going to be charged for propane that I didn't use but for your tech to use it to figure out if the refrigerator works I shouldn't be charged for that. So she went on to say she was charging me other stuff when I had no idea what she was looking at because I was referencing the invoice she had emailed me, but I asked her I didn't see those charges on the invoice that you sent me she replied: "oh Im sorry I am looking at the wrong paperwork"? Then she started to read off the charges and everything seemed correct, she said it was her fault for looking at the wrong paperwork but her customer service was very disappointing, and very unprofessional as a customer who is paying for a good time with fam read more

We picked up cruise America RV 7/7/23, it broke down Friday 7/8/23 at approximate 455pm. Called 24 hour assistance number and we're told to sleep on side of road until we can get help first thing Monday morning. Monday comes, we are told rv is driveable so there's nothing they can do. We drive through and break down every uphill area we go through and have to park for 30+ minutes to rest the rv. After several calls we get a replacement RV 7/20/23, 12 days after it first broke down. We get told generator hours will be compensated and eventually that the whole trip will be compensated. Once RV is returned, they only gave us $200 refund and said they couldn't compensate more than that. Never using cruise America again. read more

Rented an RV through Crest RV/ Cruise America for a 4 day weekend. Both the owner Larry and the receptionist were so sweet and kind. Their customer service was great, they were knowledgeable and able to assist in every aspect. I notice the review says the place is small but it didn't matter because the size of the building means nothing, the RV was great. We had 1 issue with the battery dying but we jumped it and all was well afterwards. Planning to rent again in a couple months. The RV was clean and definitely well kept. Let me start out by saying that everyone at Crest RV were more than nice and easy to work with. Most of our complaints are with the condition of the Cruise America RV. This 19 foot unit should NOT have been rented to us. We have rented RV's for years from other companies, and have never had any issues as this. Probably because this being an older unit with over 114,000 miles on it. The main issue is there is a large fresh water leak in the bathroom that loses water into the grey tank so you have to turn off the water pump after each use. Due to this leak, with a conservative water usage, we were only able to get 1.5 days out of the fresh water tank until we needed to refill. When using city water the leak is so bad that the grey and black water valves need to be left open or toilet will overflow at night (YUCK!). Safety Issues: The Fire Extinguisher was EMPTY (we didn't find out until we were cleaning it for return). Windshield wipers are useless making driving during a surprise storm difficult. We know that camping is not a germ free experience, but come on; the fresh water hose was stored with black water dump hose which is completely unsanitary. The dump hose didn't fit in its compartment and the plastic lock did not work on that door anyway for proper storage. Black mold present in bathroom. The unit needs some kind alignment (wheel or frame) as is unsteady driving. Steering is difficult to keep going straight with a lot of play in the steering wheel. The smoke alarm had been removed. Bathroom issues: Grey water indicator shows 1/3 full even after dumping, black never shows any level at all. There was a hole in the sunroof allowing rain and bugs to get in. We had to put duct tape over it. Annoying Issues: We were given the unit with the L.P. gas turned 'OFF' and told it would take 6-8hrs to cool down. During the walk through we were told that the reason the refrigerator was blinking 'CHECK' is we were not on level ground. After a day, due to zero cooling in refrigerator and many blocks of ice, we had to call Cruise America: The L.P knob is not labeled for open/close, so it wasn't obvious. The stove starters do not work, so we had to buy a lighter. There was dog hair everywhere, even in cabinets & drawers. Extremely heavy in rollup curtains and the upholstery was dirty w/body or animal fluids & spills, not just dog hair. With a picture of a dog on the window I assumed there would be some mess, but this was really excessive. The right speaker hisses making the sound system unusable. The 2 dump handles were not labeled which one was grey or black. read more

We're returning Cruise America customers who rented an RV from this place for the 1st time we're shocked at the condition of this rig, and later by the awful customer service. From the outset, - the vehicle was riddled with so many scratches/dents/stains/broken parts that we ran out of room noting it all down on the forms. - Inside, it was dirty and when we pointed out an example of this- crumbs still all over the stove - patty insisted it was clean and there's always going to be crumbs. We then found a crushed roll of toilet paper inside from other customers which clearly the cleaning crew missed and gave it to them to no response. - When we got home we cleaned the inside thoroughly (which we shouldn't have to do) and found food leak stains in the fridge, bugs in the stove, coffee splatters on the dash and the bathroom toilet and shower walls/floor were marked with so much dirt that readily came off when we cleaned it. - when we pointed out twice that the water indicator was not filled to green (it was showing 2/3rd full) they insisted it was full and that the light probably didn't work right. Still nervous about this, we emphasized again the importance of having a full water tank due to our dry camping off the grid with no water access, and they again insisted it was full, patty suggesting we could connect to a hose at our campsite (clearly not understanding what we meant by dry camping with no water access). - Within 36 hours of our arrival at camp we'd only used the water a handful of times (wash hands/toilet flush- no dishes or shower yet) and the water level was already in the red! We spent the rest of our dry camping not showering once, using camp mates toilets and using our faucet and toilet as little as possible. This is inexcusable and dangerous had we not had camp mates who shared their rig water with us. - As we parked at the campsite we noticed break light wires dangling near the ground under the rear axel and 2 strips of black tape that had been used to try to hold the wires up that had come undone. The wires were rubbing against the exhaust pipe and had begun to burn. We also noticed fishing wire tied into the break light wires as if someone had tried to "fix" the issue that way as well as tape. - the RV also leaked oil from the rear in 2 spots Clearly this is not what we expect with Cruise America RVs nor the $2k we paid for it (whatever did happen to the $300 deposit and then the $500 deposit?) the overall run down condition, the uncleanliness especially in a covid environment, not enough water while insisting it's full when it obviously wasn't, and the jerry rigged wiring job burning up. We noted everything with Cruise America, who told us that the dealership will address our concerns when we return the RV. LOL they couldn't be more wrong - evasive, zero client empathy or care, owner suggested if we were so worried about water then we should've checked it anyway and that they really didn't have to give us a full tank of water (what?!) and then patty walked away from the conversation, just up and left instead of taking any responsibility. Owner said all he was allowed to do was credit back $75 and Cruise America should handle our issues; then told patty to not credit us. We were speechless. Cruise America has contacted us, utterly embarrassed. read more

Rented a cruise America motorhome And it was the worse experience of my Life. When we got it it smelled horrible like death come to find out it was the grey water tank was full. We were headed to AZ where the temp was 115 and the AC DIDNT WORK We called the hotline but they were not willing to send a tech to out to our camp site to trouble shoot it.... If I could I'd give 0 stars Picking up my RV at the location in riverside was smooth, ( not thorough on the explaining of the rv but we had the app and figured we could figure it out later) patty was quick ( not very informative) but sweet. Drop off on the other was a complete 360, which I didn't appreciate considering I was paying good money , We were at the dumping station the night prior for 1 hour, we took the rv to a car was to wash the outside for about 45 minutes. I mopped and swept the rv LEAVING IT BETTER THEN I HAD RECEIVED IT. At return patty said there was still things in the septic so we would be charged , that being said she still made my brother in law empty it out in to a bucket. WHY MAKE HIM EMPTY IT IF I WAS already your GOING TO HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT? She said the floors were not swept. When receiving the rv the floors already had a sandy texture which I said nothing about because it is a RECREATIONAL VEHICLE, and is used as such. There was hair in the tub when picking up. Which again I said nothing about. That being said at drop off I got charged 200$ from my deposit for everything "wrong" with the rv. $25 for the propane which I didn't mind because we didn't fill it. Had I known I would be charged all this I wouldn't of taken time out of my trip to clean the rv. Patty was unprofessional, belittling, and rude. Not appreciated. As far as Miguel the gentleman that helped me book the rv he was very helpful, quick, and honest. First went to Crest RV in 2020 when our travel trailer was stolen, damaged, and presumed infected during the pandemic. Larry was highly recommended by a friend. He worked directly with my insurance claim agent (the insurance representative refused to enter the trailer to assess the damage and filth), and everything was fixed or replaced with top quality materials. Absolutely no signs of the damage. Only complaint was that I specifically requested the interior be sanitized, which wasn't done. We returned to Crest RV to have the bunk bed area remodeled to a walk-in wardrobe closet. We sketched our thoughts and Larry and his team did a terrific job, matching the existing cabinetry perfectly. Again, my only concern is that the shelves were not cleaned when finished. They also stored our trailer at no cost while we had some upholstery work done. Although it's a 2 hour drive for us, we will gladly make the trip if future repairs are needed! read more

Vacationing in the time of Covid-19: I do not recommend Crest RV or CruiseAmerica to anyone. We thought renting a RV would be a safe way to vacation and travel during a pandemic, especially as we have a severely disabled child that is considered high risk. Instead, we got screwed over big time by Crest RV and CruiseAmerica. We rented the RV from CruiseAmerica for a week in July, right after the holiday. Crest RV is their representative in Riverside. Patty at Crest RV went over the contract and rules with us. We did a walk through and found some damaged items. She acknowledged them and then refused to show us how things worked in the RV, saying that we would figure them out. Okay..... Second day into our trip, the main water seal busted while we were in Mt. Shasta. Water was pouring into the back bedroom anytime we attempted to flush the toilet or use the water from the sinks and shower. We immediately called CruiseAmerica's travel hotline to report it. They advised us not to use the water at all, and someone would contact us for repair and/or a replacement RV. No one ever called us. We called them back twice a day, every day for the remainder of our trip. Do you know how hard it is to not use water in an RV for 5 days with children, one of them disabled? It was a nightmare of trying to find campgrounds that would let us use their shower, and gas stations that would let us use their toilets, all during a freaking pandemic where everything was shut down. On the last day of our trip as we were about 2 hours from getting home, CruiseAmerica finally called us to schedule a repair of the busted water seal. We let them have it over the phone because we were beyond pissed off at their horrendous service. They apologized profusely, we took down the name of who we were speaking with, and they offered to compensate us for the days we were without water. They also offered to reimburse us for our campground usage where we had to use a campground shower, as long as we had receipts. (We did). CruiseAmerica told us that Crest RV could look up our rental and the screens of conversations on their end and that they would compensate us when we returned the RV in the morning. When we returned the RV in the morning to Crest RV (thoroughly sanitized because we aren't scumbags), Patty at Crest RV refused to compensate us as agreed to by CruiseAmerica. I told her we wanted to call CruiseAmerica to clarify because they told us something different. She was irate, and told us that if we didn't sign the return contract immediately, she would charge our credit card for another day's rental. I told her we couldn't do that until we spoke with CruiseAmerica and settled the business of our compensation and refund. She threatened to "call the law" and said "you people are always looking for a handout". We wanted to bust her racist jaw, but signed the return contract with a note saying that we were coerced and waiting for our agreed upon compensation and refund. We left the building and immediately called CruiseAmerica. They stated that Crest RV was supposed to compensate and refund. I told them what happened and they advised me to put it in an email and send it to Customer Relations at CruiseAmerica. It has been almost 60 days since we sent that email, and we have never received a response. We've called numerous times and they keep saying that someone will call back with a resolution. We've heard nothing back. I would not recommend Crest RV or CruiseAmerica to anyone, especially People of Color. read more

First Time RV Drivers\ Rental - We rented an RV fro Cruise America and was told to go to Crest RV to pick it up. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile by Pati. She welcomed us and explained the RV rental process to us in detail. The check in process did not take too long, about 45min, as she had all the paperwork ready and waiting for our arrival. We did the RV inspection and off we went. While on our way home we noticed the RV was making a loud noise and we just thought thats how RV's are. We drove CA to NM and the noise on the RV was very loud driver and passenger could not even speak without YELLING!. The RV consumed so much gas, we had to stop 4 times to fill up. We were not sure we would make it. That was a horrible 16 hour drive. While in NM we contacted the nearest Cruise America location, and they swapped the RV for us with no questions asked. Well our drive back from NM to CA took 13 hours and we only pumped gas two times. When we arrived back to Crest RV we gave Pati a run down on ur trip and how it went. We asked her if there is anything she can do to help compensate for our troubles. She immediately reached out to her District manager and were able to negotiate a discount. She went above and beyond. Like we told her maybe the RV already had issues but this being our first time driving an RV we kind of thought the noise was normal, but in reality didn't think it should be this loud. Well Pati made sure we left happy and willing to come back. Will we rent an RV again from Crest RV (Cruise America)? YES. The employees there are all friendly and treat you as family. read more

If I could give 10 stars i would. Our tow hitch broke just as we were starting a road trip. They did that in a couple of hours. Then it turned out the alternator quit. One of the employees volunteered to stay after hours to replace it because it's not s big deal on a 2005 Silverado. And he wanted to help us get back on the road. read more

Pop trailer electrical pulley bracket broke while I was at the camp site. I was actually able to get it to Larry at Crest Rv Repair with little issues. I knew it was a broken weld and bracket. The crew at Crest RV shot me straight and told me they could fix it with a new fabricated bracket. These guys did it in 3 hours and we were back at our rv site at 5:30. They did a fantastic job. The guy that actually did the fabricating and welding I didn't get his name. Great job to these guys. I would absolutely recommend Crest RV for your needs. read more

We bought a 1975 retro motorhome on Ebay, it is being stored in Riverside so my husband phoned Crest RV to see if they would pick it up and do any repairs as we needed to drive it for 3 days to get it home. Dylan from Crest RV said he would pick it up on Monday, June 17. The next update was he would grab it Tuesday, that didn't happen. Wednesday they told us that they can't do it, which really puts us in a bind seeing as we fly there Thursday/tomorrow. We could have had another company look at the motorhome instead of empty promises from Crest RV. If you say you're going to do something, then do it. Very frustrated and disappointed. I went in today to get something from their small parts department. I found what I needed and stood there for 20 minutes and nobody would ring me up. Several employees pretended like they didn't see me. I left the items there and walked out with no response. Could of taken the items cause nobody moved. A big zero stars on my book. I had the worst ever experience here! This is a Cruise America RV rental facility and they are a sad business to even look at. The place is a dump which was weird considering that they rent out supposed new motorhomes. The lot they have looks like a repo or tow yard and there are piles of junk and garbage everywhere. Their location on Main St looks just like the nice part of Tijuana. They changed my rental of a 30ft class C RV to a 25ft class C and told me I had no other choice. Okay so I accepted it; big mistake. You get to do a standard "walk around" of the vehicle to inspect and mark on a form where existing damage is. This thing was worked and had heavy damage from bumper to bumper. I expressed my concerns about the condition of the RV and was told that it was new to them and was assured that it had been properly inspected and was road worthy. I was shown inside and other than heavy wear on the interior it seemed to be in acceptable condition. I was given the keys and told to have a good time. I drove off and immediately noticed that it had only about 1/4 tank of fuel which I thought was odd but also noticed when I got on the freeway that this thing was so out of alignment that the steering wheel was crooked at about 30 degrees. The steering was so bad that I could only drive about 50mph the whole trip. It rattled and the steering wheel was clunky and erratic and totally ridiculous to drive. I have owned and driven so many of these; I know what is to be expected when driving one. BTW this thing had 97,000 miles on it! It was a rough short trip. I was never given the "walk around" copy of the form they had me sign when leaving so I just dealt with this thing for what it was. When I got to my destination the coach part of the RV worked fine EXCEPT for the bathroom sink; it didn't work at all. That sucked!! I put $70 in the tank to get to and from my destination. I stopped and put $16 in it right before returning it to get it back over 1/4 tank of fuel again. They told me that I had signed for it having a full tank of gas and told me I had to pay for a full tank. I protested and they told me that they don't make mistakes and that their computers are always right. No joke, just like that. They charged me something like an additional $350 to my card and told me they had no interest in talking to me and that I could call Cruise America. So other than this place being a total dump, they rip you off and treat you like crap. Beware of this place, I only take the time to write out reviews like this when the establishment is malicious in their intentions and their presence is parasitic to consumers. Beware! read more

My wife and I bought a used trailer, our first. We are new to RVing. The new trailer lacked an awning (the material), although the skeleton for the awning was there. I took my trailer in for a new awning. Being new to RVing, I am not familiar with the inter-workings of RVs, nor am I familiar with all of the terminology. When I dropped the trailer off, I met with the owner, Larry Lange. I explained my inexperience to him. I told him that I needed at least the material for the awning, possibly more. Since I knew nothing about opening/closing the awning, I wasn't sure what exactly was involved in getting the thing to work properly. Since the trailer was going to be in the shop anyway, I decided to have some other minor things repaired at the same time. While at the shop dropping the trailer off, I asked Larry if he wanted to look at the trailer, the awning, and the laundry list of items that were in need of repair. Larry told me that he didn't need to look at the trailer, commenting that he has been repairing RVs for years. I emphasized to him that I may not be using the correct terms and verbiage, and I told him that I would feel more comfortable if I could show him what needed to be repaired. Again, he told me that there was no need to look at my trailer. He instructed me to pull it into his yard and drop it off "somewhere in the upper lot." I have been towing boats for years, so I am actually very good at backing trailers. But, this place is a junk yard...just Google Earth the place and you'll see what I'm talking about. So, with no help from Larry, or any of the four or five employees that were around, I struggled for 30 minutes or so to get the trailer positioned in between the graveyard of broken-down vehicles. From there Larry told me that he would call me within a few days when the repairs were complete. The original estimate, just over $800. A few days later, on a Friday at 4:30 he called me to let me know that the trailer was repaired. There was no way that I could make it from my home to his shop in a 1/2 hour (before closing), so I arranged to pick it up the next morning. When I arrived at opening, Larry had no idea who I was. It took him 20 minutes to locate my paperwork. When he finally did so, the charge was $940. I wasn't happy with the extra money, but as long as everything worked correctly I was willing to suck-it-up. Prior to leaving I asked him if he wouldn't mind showing me how to open and close the awning. He agreed. When he tried to open it, it wouldn't open. As it turns out, several of the hardware pieces were broken. How he replaced the material without opening/closing and testing it out, I have no idea. He seemed embarrassed and disappeared. His technician then appeared and replaced the two of the six broken hardware pieces; the other four they didn't have in stock. So, the awning still doesn't work. Other things that they were supposed to fix: Two electrical outlets didn't work. Larry told me that I wasn't plugging the appliances in correctly. Now, I'm in my 50's so I have a certain amount of experience at plugging in appliances. In fact, I think I'm pretty good at it. I pulled the technician aside and had him take a second look. Turns out one of the outlets was bad and it killed the entire circuit. Had I not checked that before I left his lot, I would have paid to have them fixed, without any repair actually being done. The stove fan wasn't working. His technician fixed that...or did he? The fan blade is installed upside down so that it blow the exhaust in the trailer not out. This still hasn't been repaired. The tank sensors that let you know when the gray, black, and fresh water tanks are empty or full wasn't working. I told Larry that part of the problem, or perhaps all of it, was that the ground wires weren't connected. The technician connected the ground wires, but the sensor still doesn't work. In short, I paid for this repair too, and it wasn't actually fixed. The one thing that the technician actually repaired correctly was the heater. I will give him credit for that, the heater works great. After leaving the yard, paying $144 more than the estimate with only one repair actually done correctly, Larry had the nerve to call me and ask for more money for the two parts for the awning. He tried to convince me that he had actually saved me money by not billing me for all of the technicians time. In short, I paid $944, I have an awning that still doesn't work. I have tank indicators that don't work, I have an exhaust fan that actually blows the exhaust back into the trailer. I spent two hours of my own time at his yard while the technician was trying to repair the items that he had bungled the first time. DONT TAKE ANYTHING YOU CARE ABOUT TO THIS PLACE. I agree with the above poster - this place deserves 0 stars. We rented a Cruise America RV from this location. The rental was in mediocre condition, upon initial delivery. We got to our first stop and found out that we had no interior power. All of the breakers had been flipped and we had blown fuses. Shouldn't this stuff be checked before it's handed off to the customer? While my wife was preparing the bedding before our departure, she severely cut her finger on an exposed screw on the end of the bed. We examined the area and noted a panel was broken in several areas and not properly repaired. She also noticed a window wouldn't completely shut due to a broken handle with a missing screw. This was NOT noted during the initial inspection because we didn't examine the interior. I also inquired about the insurance. The Cruise America rep, Ray, explained that the insurance only covers the vehicle, not the occupants, property, or any outside events. I contacted Cruise America customer service with a question later that day and found that Ray's info was erroneous. I was told that coverage exists for the vehicle, the occupants, the property, AND outside events for 1 million dollars. I returned the RV on Tuesday, October 11th. Ray greeted me and said that he didn't have time to check in the vehicle, so he'll just mail me a receipt. I said that wouldn't work because I had some issues that I needed to discuss. He was visually upset and treated me like I was a bother and in his way. He did a quick run through of the vehicle while I explained the issues I had. I showed him the screw protruding from the wood in the bed. I showed him the broken handle. He argued with me and told me that the mechanic does a 180-point inspection. He then explained that he ensures that the customer gets to their destination safely. He makes sure the seat belts work, that the oil has been changed, etc. He said that they cannot be responsible for cosmetic effects (A SCREW AND BROKEN HANDLE.) I told him that I beg to differ. That it IS his responsibility to ensure that any vehicles that are rented to customers are 100% ready. He told me that he needed more staff. I explained that it wasn't my issue, but his. He disagreed, printed out a receipt and ushered me out very quickly. Fortunately, I was only charged for mileage and a little bit of propane. I will have to really consider renting from Cruise America again. There are many other companies out there (Camping World, El Monte RV, etc) that are equally as convenient. I can guarantee though, without a shadow of a doubt, that I will absolutely NEVER do any sort of business with the Cruise America location (Crest RV) in Riverside, CA. read more

The minor issues we noted on the spot during our walk-through were attended to immediately and met our absolute satisfaction 3. As a courtesy for making us wait while these minor issues were resolved, Ray generously extended a flexible drop-off time for us for the inconvenience. 4. Upon return of the vehicle, Ray asked for our thorough report on the vehicle's condition. We shared some additional issues without fear of being charged. He truly wanted to ensure the next customer renting the vehicle would have as flawless experience as he could provide. 5. Ray went into the system to adjust our drop-off time so we weren't charged an additional hour rental for going over just a few minutes. Thank you!! 6. Perhaps the greatest feature about Crest RV is the guy you'll deal with: Ray. He was professional and courteous. Everything you'd expect of a responsible business person. But his personality made our dealings with Crest RV an absolute delight. His laughter, humor, story-telling and smile made it feel like we were borrowing an RV from a friend. Hands-down, I would recommend renting an RV from this facility. There are a handful of rules to follow and Ray will walk you through all of them before you sign the contract. All I can say about the other 1 star review you see for Crest RV...is that the customer probably didn't listen or read her contract. read more

The rental was in great condition and enhanced the enjoyment of my family's vacation. We have rented Rv's in the past and our experience has never been so easy and smooth as when renting from Crest RV.
