Made an appointment ahead of time with a well known nearby tire place (I won't mention the name but it's on 25A in Mount Sinai) and once I was there, I was told I'd have to wait to have the tire inspected. I left since I didn't have the time to wait. I pulled into T&S Auto hoping they could help me on the spot. The guy checked it out immediately and was able resolve the cause of the flat tire. I gave the green light for that and then get a call that they need to replace the battery when that's why I brought it there in the first place?? not only that but whoever is answering the phones here thinks it's appropriate to hang up on customers when they ask for an explanation. Well, none of the 620 clips in the box will work. Pfffft. He said that the clips have to go in a certain way, and they slide on. He said that I will have to go to Land Rover for the clips, and he would install them. He very kindly put some more tape on the trim, and didn't charge me for it. I will get the clips, and return. I also need his help with another issue, and I feel very confident that he'll do a great job at a fair price. I am delighted to have found a good mechanic!!
