It seems that the only time I visit Station Park is in the dead of winter when the last thing I want to do is walk around outside where the air hurts my face. But I have yet to find myself here when it's nice outside, so I have a slightly biased perspective. That's on me though. Anyway, I love the variety of shops here and the layout is interesting-not like a boring linear mall where everything is one long, dreadful row of stores that goes on and on like a dull high school science teacher. No, this place has twists and turns, shops are broken up by beautiful water features or seating areas-things that encourage people to linger. Aside from the terrible weather-which admittedly, Station Park cannot control, the parking is tricky. There's something innate in the minds of Utahns that we have to be able to park directly in front of the store we are visiting. We don't prefer adjacent parking lots, and get grumpy if we have to walk anywhere more than a few feet. So if you're one of those people, you'll be disappointed to find that the parking areas are further out and the few spots that are near the stores are highly sought after. So, I'll wait for the weather to turn nice, park in the nearby lot and happily meander through the shopping area with coffee in hand, humming along to whatever cheerful music is playing on the speakers overhead. read more

I really like this mall. There are plenty of different shops and places to eat. We love to hang out by the fountain and watch the water show. Some of our favorite shops we stop at are It's Sugar and Rooster's Gourmet Popcorn (looks like Rooster's is gone now). We stopped at Twig's for martinis and they were delicious! We come here every year and see Santa. They have the absolute best Santa by far! He and Mrs. Claus are so sweet! You've got to follow them on Instagram (myfavoritesanta). The line to see them is crazy long though...and it's sooo cold. Be prepared to wait about 7 minutes per group. I wish they'd put some heaters next to the line. We love Santa, but I don't think we can wait in that line again next year without some kind of heat. As soon as we were done seeing Santa, we ran over to one of those standing heaters to warm up. One of my biggest complaints is that my phone doesn't work very well there. I was trying to see if Rooster's moved to another area at the mall, but I wasn't able to look up anything. For a while there, I couldn't text anyone either. It's a bit frustrating. All in all, we love this mall and visit a few times a year. read more

I love outdoor malls, and Station Park is one of my favorites! There's a ton of places to shop, eat, or just hang out! There's even a movie theater. The fountains with music in the main area are fun to watch, and during the cooler months they have fires going. It's kept pretty clean and is overall an enjoyable place to walk around. My only complaint here is that it can get crowded sometimes and parking can be a bit rough...but it doesn't stop me from coming! read more

Let's make one thing clear: Station Park is not a mall. As well, it's not like outdoor mall-like entities like Gateway or City Creek where you can park your car and amble from store to store. Farmington's Station Park is a TOD (transit-oriented development) ... I suppose that gives it an official excuse for a pain-in-the-you-know-what to get around. I still mark 'em down for the layout. I gave it a shot as a "store-walker" ... I was killing time between my wife's extremely long visits to different Station Park women's clothing establishments. To be fair, I didn't pick the best time: About 3 in the afternoon on a day that changed from your normal quiet, chilly winter afternoon to a gusty, snow-in-your-face mini-blizzard. The main area isn't too much of a walk distance-wise, maybe .2 to .4 of a mile from one side of the main area to the other. "Outskirt" shops on the outer tier of the mall (Cabela's, Vista Outdoor, U of U Health Center, Chick-fil-A, etc.) are a few tenths of a mile longer. Distance isn't really the issue for walkers: It's accessibility. I found myself crossing parking lots as well as pretty busy and relatively dangerous intersections. It's a park-and-drive-and-park-and-drive sort of mall. It's a really beautiful development, with Fountain Square being the epicenter of its beauty. Even on this cold, blustery day, the light show and shooting water was still going strong. The curvy roads of Promontory Drive are a visually stunning, urban planner's masterwork. The most pleasant of surprises was Eats & Treats, the food "pavilion" between West Promontory and Fountain Square. While it houses four fast food restaurants (Barbacoa, Madbrook Donuts, Smart Cookie, and the newly opened Farmington Franks), it's real gem is in the middle: couches, leather chairs, a fireplace, and other coziness that wouldn't be out of place as a fancy hotel's lobby. When it comes to businesses, its real selling point are its semi-casual, sit-down restaurants. Twigs, Santorini's Greek Grill, ParkStone Wood Kitchen, and the brand new Sicilia Mia are the gems of Station Park. With all the other restaurants around Station Park, I wouldn't be surprised if many people come just to eat at their favorite spot. There's also some high-quality "anchor" businesses like Cabela's, Harmon's Grocery, Chase Bank, World Market, Vista Outdoor, and a state-of-the-art Cinemark Theatre. There's a University of Utah Health Center and a Hyatt Place hotel, two things you don't often see at a shopping development. And, of course, it's STATION Park, meaning there's a FrontRunner train station right there ... making for quick transport up and down the Salt Lake Valley. As for the rest of Station Park is, IMHO, ho-hum. Station Park has a lot of the usual mall fare: Countless women's clothing stores and boutiques, junk-food snack shops, shoe stores, millennial and Gen Y casual fashion stores, as well as discount clothes, accessories, beauty, and health shops. In the end, though, I'd say everybody will find something to strike their fancy at Station Park. read more

We took our four daughters to go see Santa tonight December 3rd 2! We paid for a reservation $20, at our reservation time 4:25 only 5 mins between each family, the family in front us without a reservation were taken in our time slot! No body else in line behind us, so it's not like it was packed but it's the principal of the matter! We get in to see Santa, we were rushed threw the process, the girl snapped 6 or so photos quickly, ( the picture is too dark, not bright and cheery, just dull, the young girl picked the one we got! I didn't get to look at the pictures at all, we felt very rushed! no Christmas music by the fountain, where all the families were! They have taken the fun out of everything! It makes me very sad! This is one of the nicest shopping centers in the Greater Salt Lake City area. Located in Farmington, UT, it's about 20 min North of downtown SLC. The most impressive thing about this center is the landscaping. Lots of trees and flowers...really beautiful. It's designed with a "town center" component which is nice and feels like city streets and then a "power center" component surrounding the town center. A lot of stores you'll see everywhere else....nothing really unique here...except for maybe an Apple and Nike store. No department stores. A chain store paradise and manufactured feel here. If you live in the Northern Salt Lake metro area, this place is for you. Head a little farther South and City Creek and Fashion Place are more unique and have a greater variety of stores. read more

The mall is in general very nice. There are a ton of shops/stores, basically a store for everything. The ground and parking lots are very clean. There are basically no homeless or pan handlers, which is very nice and very different from the city creek mall. The operation hours are also ver convenient and consistent. read more

Gorgeous! Great for families! I was in awe of this shopping center. Although it was filled with great shops and restaurants, the park like ambiance was the highlight of this place. This is a neat place to go. I go here at least once a year for the clothing stores, particularly Gordmans, and it's always nice. I love that there's a Frontrunner station right next to it; it makes coming here easy for me as I don't own a car. They have some of everything, including a movie theater, clothing stores, an Apple Store, Teavana (I love me some tea), and a few places to eat... emphasis on few. The fountains are very pretty as well, and it's fairly easy to navigate through by walking. It is also open on Sundays as well. read more

My only frustration is that they keep raising rent and forcing some of our favorite stores to leave. Large outdoor shopping center that can be seen by the freeway. My husband and I came out from Salt Lake City to do some more holiday shopping (for ourselves) before Christmas. Surprisingly this outdoor mall wasn't that crowded. Anyways, Station Park currently is open until 10 pm for the holiday season in case you need to do some more last minute shopping. There are plenty of shopping options here (including one of my favorite stores, Nordstrom Rack, Petco, Marshalls, Chicos, Apple, H&M, JCREW, etc) and eateries (including Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana, Dickey's Barbecue Pit, The Habit). For the parking situation, it was actually just fine for us on this visit. Being that this is very close to the holidays, there was a few employees directing traffic (which I imagine probably helped it not be too chaotic around here). Now a few highlights to mention: there is a beautiful fountain by the theater (Cinemark) with lights and such and there is also a children's playground area in case you want your little rugrats to run around before going home. And you can also go ice skating (rentals are available) on the frozen pond which is more than perfect for the season. Definitely a nice place to shop at and worth a visit. read more

New(ish?) mall as of now, though it seems in greater SLC new malls can turn into old malls fast. The shops here fall slightly below my radar but they do boast an H&M and Teavana. It isn't a large outdoor mall in comparison to others but I think that enhances the quaint chic vibe. The trip to Station Park is completely worth it - not for the shopping - but for the eateries (ParkStone, Settebello, Twig's, and a sweet Starbucks - all with outdoor lounge areas with multiple fireplaces) and the pretty garden/fountain/play area. There were a few mothers who were having a picnic with their young children near the fountain surrounded by picturesque trees and flowers and it really looked like the perfect way to spend an afternoon. read more

I really like the feel of Station Park as it feels like a small neighborhood with stores and restaurants. Good variety of shops and so many restaurants. My girlfriend and I were walking around Station Park in Farmington, Utah and we found an interactive kiosk that took selfies! We had to stop and try it out! We explored the filters and played with the video and photo settings until we found somethin we both liked. We took our selfie and it totally made our day! It is a very cool shopping mall, with tons of great stores and wonderful service in most places. It looks pretty with all the lights in the winter but the security there sucks and that's me being nice, about a year ago I went into the gym there, and I locked my mountain bike up outside in the middle of the day, I walked out about an hour later, my lock was cut and it was a thick cable lock, Security said there were no cameras and if there were they couldn't show me them and they are too busy to look. and then I told one of the security guards that I had something stolen and he said he would write a report about it so I told him everything and then I went back about a week later to their "main" office and no has heard anything about a report of a stolen bike and so I asked the security guy I talked to and he said I don't know what you're talking about. It's a great mall with tons of decent food and stores but I wouldn't trust them. read more

On Tuesday afternoon, I went with the cousin and the little cousins to a mall in Farmington called Station Park. It's similar to City Creek in that it is an upscale outdoor concept with an urban flair. The difference being that Station Park is out in Farmington which is really a collection of suburban housing tracts. I have mixed feelings about Station Park. It is very contrived and painfully fake. It is a half-hearted attempt at urban planning with very narrow 'streets' passing through the mall and with stores that face the interior of the shopping center while the exterior of the shopping center is surrounded by large parking lots. On the other hand, the greenery is gorgeous, it's easy to walk around, and it's popular with the children. It feels like it is more family-friendly than City Creek. The kids really like the fountains. They also have those at City Creek. We went to this place called Smart Cookie. We thought it was great. I was surprised to read the negative reviews when I got back to the house. I bought a box of cookies and a shake. I had Almond, Cinnamon, Lemon Drop, and Red Velvet frosted cookies. You can order a shake and have them blend a cookie into the shake. I think I had a double chocolate blended into a vanilla shake. Thumbs up. Very good. read more

I have loved many things about Station Park over the last several years but have been discouraged as many shops are leaving the area. Station Park has been the only place to shop upscale stores in Davis County. Layton Hills mall has become a ghost mall and I believe the same is happening to Station Park. It is a nice atmosphere for families and beautiful outdoor space. Unfortunately those same people do not seem to be shopping. The stores I go into are virtually empty. Teenagers love to hangout here. I am glad it is a safe location but 14 and 15 yr olds cannot keep the stores afloat. So sad to see JCrew, Banana Republic, Gap, JJill, Chico's, Gordmans, Old Navy, and others leave the area. That's a pretty serious bleed. Too bad they did not have the traffic the Apple Store has. read more

I LOVE Station Park. I've worked various retail jobs around the area, despite living about 30 miles away. I love this area, and it's so convenient! We would used to have to drive to Salt Lake, Layton, or Ogden for most shopping, but Farmington has such a great array of stores, there's something for everyone! There are places to eat, movies to see, places to shop, a place for kids to play, and during the winter months, there's even an ice rink! This area is perfect for a family outing, friend get-togethers, or date nights. Some of my favorite memories have been while out and about in Farmington Station! I've seen some crazy things while I've been there, (a guy drove his car OVER the round-a-bout display!!!!!) but overall it's such a great, clean area. My favorites are Nordstrom Rack: you can ALWAYS find a good deal, Lush; their products are all natural and fresh! Vans; who doesn't love a classic sneaker?! And the Apple Store! Such a neat store that allows you to diagnose issues with your iOS devices and pick up new ones right there in the store! Come ready for a day full of adventure! read more

One of my favorite malls in Utah! the scene is beautiful and the area actually feels safe to walk around, Im also glad that more eateries are popping up in the area, Im hoping some more exotic restaurants show up as well, I always love taking my family here to visit when they visit out of country, I think its a nice choice if you don't wanna drive to Salt Lake City and pay for parking. The nighttime is actually a nice romantic stroll for a date, you can grab something sweet to snack on and watch the fountains light up at night and sit and chat. read more

This place is a breath of fresh air. I absolutely love Station Park. It is in Farmington. So the only downside for me is that it's about a 20 minute drive. But still not too far. But it's a really nice place. It has just about anything. Shopping stores, great restaurants, an awesome movie theater and also a gym and much much more. Oh and also, an APPLE store is located there :) They got a nice water fountain with nice lights during night time. Music playing. I'm not sure of the love of this place. I think it is just OK. I think it is a personal preference thing. I'm not a fan of the layout of the cluster of stores. Parking is insane and navigating is not ideal. What saves the place is the variety of shopping and that they are open on Sundays. I do like that they have some good places to eat and a few stores you cannot find north of here, beats driving all the way to slc. If I do stop here I prefer the exterior stores (Harmon's, Ross, sports authority, etc) rather than trying to navigate the clustered up mess. read more

I love this mall. It tastes like The Promenade in LA, mixed with mountain pride and good stores for everyone. I like that it has that common area with an awesome water fountain, and lots of sitting, including that nice patch of grass. It really makes me feel like im in a different place outside of Utah. You have the bigger stores surrounding the parking lot too, which is nice. Norstrom Rack is a plus, as well as Harmons. There are plenty of stores for lots of different kinds of people. It feels pretty upscale with all the plants and Beverly Hills-ish feel on the smaller streets that cross the central square where Cinemark is. Pretty cool to go to. Did I mention they also have an apple store that I've definitely never seen as busy as the City Creek one? yup. pretty nice. read more

GREAT shopping center, very picturesque and quaint, lots of options for shopping and food. I love coming here! Sometimes I like to come and just get a drink at Fiiz or Torino and sit and watch the fountain show. It really is a beautiful place to be. Station park has shopping and entertainment, but parking is crazy. I actually don't like going to station park because of the difficulty of parking and getting to the shops. I like the options available, but the design was not intended for commuters. If I lived nearby, or could rely more on public transportation, station park would be ideal. I go when I have to, but if I can get the goods somewhere else, I do. read more

This is such a lovely, well developed place. The design is picturesque, the main fountain that does shows on the hour every hour is a nice little gathering place. The stores are very well maintained and well rounded-there's something there for everyone. This is a very family friendly place and it's very accessible!
