    House salad with chicken breast
    Bill J.

Met friends here on a Wednesday evening for dinner. We've never had a bad meal here. The owner, Ottavio, always prepares wonderful dinners. We started out with appetizers; fried calamari, and crab cakes. Honestly these crab cakes are the best you'll find in the area... jumbo lump crab meat and practically no filler at all! For entrees, Two of us chose the broiled seafood platter. It came with two lobster tails, scallops, shrimp, and a whitefish fillet, and your choice of potato. My friend ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and it came with a side of spaghetti. He really enjoyed his meal. The girls got salads topped with chicken breast. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We'll be back!

I cannot say enough good about Station Square. It is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious. The service is always above and beyond (ask for Shelley)! The Station Square Charred Ribeye is my husband's go to, mine, too, when we go for dinner. For lunch, I like the center cut blackened tuna on a bed of their Italian Greens. Both the tuna and the steak are cooked to your preference! Sides are good. Hot peppers are fabulous. (Forgot to get the pictures before we were halfway done!)

Nice place just posted gf of 80 on Belmont. Good crowd on a Thursday late afternoon. Comfortable feeling room and bar areas. Our server was great: friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu, and stopped by just the right amount of times. We split an appetizer of fried greens. So delicious! My entree was the Linguine Diablo: spicy sauce with pasta and bits of seafood. The sauce could have been a bit (spicy) hotter, but it was very flavorful. Admittedly I'm a chile head. A friend had the swordfish and loved it. A very good dinner so we'll definitely be back.

The food was excellent and they offered a wide variety of choices. Service was fast and friendly. The decor was suitable for a place celebrating 39 years of business. We got a discount by showing our hotel key.

Came here to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Heard great things. Our server was a very sweet woman but a little on the where'd she go side of service. Not terrible since we weren't in a hurry but off since it was kind of a slow night. The dining area had some great lighting. Not too dark not too bright. Just right for a great night with family and friends. The table all ordered steaks. They were good. Not amazing as I was expecting from the rave reviews I had heard. Had garlic mashed potatoes and I pretty sure an entire head of garlic into just my serving. I love my garlic, but this was too much for even me.

Ok, not as good as last time. Came here with the fam for a birthday dinner. Steaks all around; filets/ribeyes. The good: my steak was tender AF though lacking in seasoning. The fried mozzarella appetizer was mouth watering. Crisp with a great cheese pull, and a glistening, hearty marinara for dipping. Great bread and REAL butter! The bad: quite a bit, actually. Steaks undercooked for three of our party of five. Salads were wilted and looked like they camped in the fridge a day too long. French fries were underwhelming. Probably due to our server, whose pacing was trash. She was polite and attentive though. Prolly deserved three stars for 300+ dollars, but my first visit to Station Square was so positive I'm hesitant to torpedo them.

    Good OLD Italian bread

Spent 66$, got ribeye steak and fried shrimp..steak came out super charred, ordered it medium, and got blackened. 3 slices of old Italian bread and 2 pods of butter..very disappointed in the quality and the prices..the steak was blacker than the box it came in..If you're gonna get it to go, if u have a minute; check your food before you leave the establishment..

    Veal marsala

Peppers in oil were very tasty, along with the fresh Italian bread. Chicken piccata was very good with generous portion. My dad loved his veal Marsala. Very nice server as well.

I had wanted to eat at Yosteria for the past…read moreyear and a half, so knowing I'd be in town on Friday, June 12, I asked my niece to make reservations for 6:00 PM. We were excited and really looking forward to the experience, especially since almost all the reviews are top notch and the venue itself looked cozy and unique. Unfortunately, our experience was nowhere near top notch. Frankly, it has continued to bother me. So much so that when I saw Alex Zordich, the owner, the next morning at Golden Dawn, I considered saying something. I didn't. He was there enjoying time with his family. But back to the review. We arrived at 5:55 PM and were promptly seated. The menu looked wonderful, the wine selections were intriguing, and the meals at the nearby table looked fantastic. We couldn't wait to get started. By 6:17, no one had been to our table. Not to say, "I'll be right with you." Not to ask if we wanted anything besides water. Not even a simple "Welcome to Yosteria." I finally got up and went outside to ask if perhaps no one realized we were sitting in their section. It honestly seemed remarkable that nobody noticed we didn't have a server. Another 5-10 minutes passed before someone finally came to the table. There was no explanation for why we had been overlooked, but we let it go. Things happen. We ordered wine, and when the waitress brought it, we ordered appetizers. She didn't ask about our entrées, but again, we were trying to be patient and go with the flow. Meanwhile, a party of six was seated next to us. They were immediately greeted, drink orders were taken, and they were served their meals before we even received our appetizers or had the chance to order our entrées. (They left long before we were finished with our meal.) By that point, my brother-in-law, who is an insulin-dependent diabetic, was dealing with low blood sugar. He had sugar pills with him, which helped somewhat, but by 6:45 -- with not even our appetizers served -- things were becoming serious for him. Once the appetizers finally arrived, they were very good, so we were still hopeful. We eventually had to flag down the waitress in order to place our entrée orders, which we finally did around 7:00 PM. Ultimately, our meals were served and we were able to wrap things up by 8:15 according to the time stamp on the bill. We did not order dessert. We just wanted to leave. The waitress said she would comp our desserts, but we declined. She insisted and suggested us take it home. So, we relented. We ordered the tiramisu. We nearly laughed out loud when she brought ONE. I am laughing even while writing this. For the horrible experience we had, the restaurant comped us ONE tiramisu that we didn't ask for or desire in the first place. That is funny and not what one would expect from what others regard as a fantastic restaurant. You would think SOMEONE from management would have come to the table to apologize or thank us for our patience. You would think that someone would have said thank you for coming in when we left. Nope. Didn't happen. Did they think we didn't care because we weren't pitching a fit? I honestly don't know. I am not a mind reader and can't speculate of someone's motivations but regardless, we left a 20% cash tip. It would have been 30% if someone would have cared even a little. Overall, the food was OK. The meatballs and the potatoes were over salted, which is unusual for me to say because I like salt. The pizza was good. The focaccia was good. The roasted Italian sausage was very good. The Pasta Alla Norma was good but better the next day. Bresaola and arancini were good. So, folks at Yosteria, if your goal was to get us to never come back, you have succeeded. If that was not your goal, then I don't know what to say. I left your restaurant sad and disappointed. I don't think if I were the owners that is what I would be shooting for. By the way, the YO VINA Zin was good. I was going to buy a couple bottles to take home but I was so over it by 8:20

The ricotta board is always good and did not disappoint. The ribs on the special menu were without a doubt the best I have ever had. Anywhere. Including mine. They were amazing. Tender with the perfect amount of sauce and the flavor was amazing. I am still in awe that these came from an Italian restaurant. It was comfortable and quiet since the place wasn't very busy.

I had to leave by 630am so I was in a rush. Now let's address the coffee. It was undrinkable, disgusting. The coffee was lukewarm at best and it tasted like dirt. No flavor other than an overwhelming taste of soil. I'm not sure if the beans are old or the machine needs cleaning but I don't think I've tasted such bad coffee before (maybe at a Motel 6 -years ago). Serving in a styrofoam cup was also very unpleasant. Now let's talk about the cost. This was nearly $11 ($1 tip). I wish I could have gone back and gotten my money back because this latte went straight to the garbage can. So disappointing especially since it's a fancier restaurant in a nice hotel. I've never given a 1 star in all my years of writing reviews. Most times I give the place the benefit of the doubt but this was too awful to not be straightforward.
