Everything about this place was super mid. Service was fine, hostess never gave us a drink menu, and they were out of ingredients for a drink we wanted. Our waiter was fine. The restaurant was loud, not very nice for a dinner date. The food was all fine, nothing exceptional, and definitely not worth the price. We didn't have any issues, but I don't plan on returning. Stopped here while traveling through for an early dinner. The restaurant itself was nice and appeared to be clean. We were greeted and seated right away by the hostess. Our waiter Justin gave good service throughout our time there. I ordered a pomegranate sangria to start out with it was just okay. I was a little disappointed with the lack of fruit in it. I went with the wedding soup instead of a salad and it also was disappointing. It was loaded with greens and had hardly any noodles. The winner was my entree the baseball steak with mashed potatoes and the Gorgonzola cream. I've been searching for a good steak with Gorgonzola and this was ideal. Not many places offer Gorgonzola. The restaurant is a typical franchise type the restaurant was loud with all the people talking making it difficult to hear your companion. Service was good however the food was nothing to write home about. I had the lobster bisque which was served lukewarm. I also had the ribeye steak. It was cooked to my liking (med rare) however the meat had to much whistle which made it very difficult to chew. I had to spit out a lot of the meat back into the napkin. read more

**This Review is for New Years Eve Night** Absolutely Excellent! It was a real treat to sit back and watch the tremendous teamwork. It is obvious that the managers care about the employees and in return the employees are totally engaged and happy. Very refreshing to watch and experience genuine excellent service. Our waitress was Andrea, and her service was very friendly and delightful, she could write the book on how to be an efficient and pleasant waiter. Food was fantastic and came very quickly for being such a busy holiday evening. The floor manager was very connected with the waiters and stepped in and out very efficiently to help where needed. I watched her take some dirty plates from a waiter that had been stopped at a table, the switch of dishes was so smooth that I doubt the costumers ever caught that it happened. I highly complimented Andrea and asked to speak to a manager as well. I spoke with Chelsea and had the privilege of asking some questions about what makes this restaurant so different then the others. I have been to Stonebridge a few times, and each time it has been a decent experience. The atmosphere is alright. It is pretty much the same as when Rockne's was previously in this building. The service isn't the greatest. Servers are not quick enough about refilling drinks, checking on tables, etc. I liked the food. The Chicken Quesadilla and the Fries are excellent. Prices are similar to other restaurants in the area. I am giving 3 stars because nothing was really bad here, but nothing really great stood out to me either. Overall, this place is worth a try. My husband has had the fish sandwich with french fries which you had to order french fries extra because the sandwich was à la cart. tonight he had the prime rib which he liked. I got the Sonoma chicken, which I have to say was terrible. I do not know how they stay open. The food is not good. read more

We had a lovely dinner here. Waitress Angie was great with a bubbly personality and customer service was superb. We had the sampler which consist of homemade hot peppers in oil, greens, stuffed pepper filled with hot sausage and cheese sticks , everything was flavorful and so good, highly recommend. I had chicken Milanese with penne pasta garlic aglio olio, pasta and chicken breast delicious and flavorful They did top off the chicken with lettuce and tomatoes in a vinaigrette which was different so if you order this minus that topping because all you taste is the vinaigrette. Husband had baked eggplant and it was flavorful and good. We just didn't care for the pomodoro sauce but to each their own on sauces.. right! Ambiance was nice lighting was slightly dark. Take your kids! This restaurant was terrific, I was a bit leery since it has the word "Tavern" in it's name. But, it was wonderful! We had a baby, 2 boys, and 4 adults. With drinks, it was under $50. Wedding soup was good, lobster bisque was good, although few bits of lobster in it. House salads were okay. Bread was excellent, with both butter and dried tomato spreads. They brought us 2 baskets of bread. The stuffed chicken and mashed potatoes were excellent. Made with real potatoes. Kids meals were standard size cheeseburgers with a side dish. They got broccoli and french fries. Both boys ate everything. (unusual) They put us in a double booth off to the side - which was wonderful, as our kids tend to be "lively". We sat next to another large family, so we didn't feel like we were bothering anyone. No standard crayons here! The kids got a toy called Wikki Stixs. Wikki Stix are made of hand-knitting yarn combined with a microcrystalline, food-grade, non-toxic wax. They are soft and pliable to use, and they stick to each other for 3-D fun. Twist, bend, stick 'em together. They literally kept a 5 and an 8 year old quiet and busy, both before and after eating. We will be back! read more

The front of the house seems as if they're just going through the motions.... and you know what that's like.... Why bother? We've been wanting to try Stonebridge and finally got here on the Saturday before Easter. They are really more a 3.5 than a 3 but I can't do that so I'll round down on this one. We started with pretzel bites and cheese. The bites were good but they look exactly like what I can buy at Giant Eagle. The ratios of bites to cheese was way off and we ended up with a half a bowl of cheese left. I had wedding soup that was excellent, husband's salad was typical iceberg fare. I had a linguine florentine special that had two good size chicken breasts in a sherry reduction. Light on the spinach for something called florentine, the linguine was just a tad undercooked making it difficult to twirl on the fork so I had to eat carefully not to get the rather watery sherry sauce on my shirt! My husband had chicken and greens that was served with penne. His chicken and mine tasted exactly the same, just a different sauce - I guess I shouldn't be surprised by that but I would have thought they would have cooked each in the accompanying sauce to give them more of the flavor of the dish. Service was good although we had to ask for side plates for the pretzel bites and she forgot the dressing for the salad and a coke refill. She recognized her mistake on both and corrected them quickly. read more

We are basically regulars here. The food is consistently very good, & as ordered. We often get the fried fish, & various chicken dishes. Why 4 stars & not 5? My only "complaint" would be that any time I've been seated for dinner in the bar side of the restaurant (probably close to 5 times), I have been extremely unimpressed with the service. Best kept secret in town!!! Darling patio with brick fireplace, we really enjoyed the outdoor space. We had the hot chip appetizer and it was by far the best we've had. Next up was the lobster bisque which was so creamy and had huge lump lobster meat. The Caesar chicken salad was pretty good. It needed a tad bit more dressing but really overall very good. Large space, quickly seated. I thought the water and ice had a very distinct, odd flavor? I even got a soda so that I could get away from it but noticed it in the ice as well. We got hot chips with french onion dip (so good) and for dinner - my husband got the tavern pasta with Milanese chicken, and I got a tavern salad with buffalo chicken. They have a basket of bread they bring out before diner that was nice and fresh. My husband and I both really enjoyed the creamy pasta. The salad was fresh and HUGE, however they poured the buffalo chicken sauce over the top of the salad instead of tossing the chicken in the sauce before topping it, so unfortunately I was unable to take my leftovers home because they would have been soggy the next day. read more
