Where to start! We began going here about the time we moved to the area and since then, Stations has become our favorite place to get lunch or an afternoon snack. I can understand the criticism about the wait times, but as a regular customer, I know that the kitchen runs slowly, so I usually make sure that I either have the time to sit and relax for a bit, or I call in and get a pick-up order ahead of time so when I come in, it's ready. I personally think the food is worth the wait, and some people won't. I get it. Regarding food, there is little else I can ask for in quality and consistency, and you get it at a great price. Their ingredients are fresh, and there are different soups every day. I love their bread, and typically anything I get that comes with it - from pretzel dog to salmon burger - is delicious. You owe it to yourself to try the almond crunch pretzel bowl sundae. If you live in the area, and you have a bit of free time, I urge you to stop in and get some lunch. Well I thought my hotel this week would be one with a kitchen but not. I had to scramble for dinner and of course the Hyatt in Bethlehem has a Beyond Burger that's not truly vegan. With my yelp search I found this gem. The hummus flat bread and vegan pretzel hit the spot. My travel life as a vegan has so improved over the last 5 years. It's going to be a great week! read more

If you are looking for excellent homemade Pho, try Stations Cafe. They also have great homemade lemonade, iced tea, and lemonade, iced tea combos. The turkey burgers with the pretzel rolls are really tasty as well. There are many other great choices on the menu including vegan and vegetarian options, as well as varieties of homemade pretzels and other tasty drinks. I ordered a bubble tea here, a drink I commonly enjoy from other locations. The price was not listed but it rang up as $5 for one drink. The drink was sickly sweet and the tapioca pearls were overcooked or old, falling apart in your mouth in a disgusting manner instead of being chewy like it's supposed to be. I asked for a refund and was rudely refused by the owner, who insisted that was how it was supposed to be. I will never be coming back here. read more

Stations Cafe is by far the BEST restaurant that I have been too. The staff is so kind and always makes sure that their customers are taken care of to the best of their abilities. I had the green tea bubble tea today and my mouth immediately watered!! So delicious! The bubbles were cooked to perfection and the tea itself tasted so fresh it was easy to tell. Minh is the kindest lady that I know. Their employees truly care for each customer it is something you dont really get to see anywhere else these days. 10/10 recommend this place! read more

Don't get me wrong, it's great to have the option on Main St in case you want something small and quick, but I would never make an actual effort to go here. If I was walking by and wanted a quick pretzel or ice cream (not sure how either of those can ever be healthy) then it's a nice option. Although the folks are usually nice, today that was not the case when my girlfriend stopped over, they always seem a little disorganized or rushed which is probably fair for a small place trying to keep employees to a minimum. They are out of stuff a lot, like eggs today when we went for breakfast (hello just hit Simms down the street for some eggs) but again not uncommon for a small place. I wouldn't say not to stop in, but again wouldn't make a trip for the place. read more

My wife and I had lunch today. (We found out about the place via my Yelp app. We'd first checked out competing eateries in easy walking distance.) We each got flatbread sandwiches (mine the ham sandwich). They were great: tasty and very filling. We were very pleased with not just the food, but the service from Emilie, the ambience (place is filled with light on a sunny day). We definitely want to return to try other items there. I was glad to see on my Yelp app that we could have gotten 10% off if we'd gone over the $20 limit, but I was able to save that discount for a future visit. Also, because we signed up for the awards program there (a national program), we get a free coffee next time since we spent more than $8. read more

Stopped in on a whim as we were downtown for lunch. Got the crab patty sand which. I love seafood but the sandwich was only okay. Price was higher than I expected and portion was a bit smaller than expected. Would likely try somewhere else next time we are in town. read more

I didn't order a pretzel or flatbread, which based on the reviews, was probably my first mistake. I ordered the taco bowl salad, and it was just ok. Not amazing, but not dreadful either. I will say the honey wheat (I think) taco bowl was very delicious, until the random garlic part at the bottom. I love garlic, but wasn't expecting it. I ordered the Pho and the cucumber salad and they were both very tasty! The woman on staff was very helpful and attentive to my table, even though she had other customers. I will return because the food was good but I will mainly return because she was very kind and sweet to us. She boosted our mood and interacting with her made my day. read more

Never again. We called ahead to see if they had spring rolls, and they said that they did. We got there quickly but after waiting forever to order they were out. Stations is small and the tables inside were full so we were told to sit at the tables outside. They should have warned us that the wait to order would be VERY LONG and that they wait on people who snag inside seats first no matter when they arrive. They really shouldn't provide extra seating unless they have the staff to service it. People came and went from those precious tables while we waited to order. We finally managed to order and after another VERY LONG wait the food came. So after sitting for over an hour, we had food (nothing fancy - mostly soup and salad). Hurrah! But the order was screwed up and the food was not great (apparently it is possible to make bad green salad). When the bill finally came it was also wrong. Yikes! Our waitress smiled a lot, and on the few occasions that we saw her she assured us that she would be back in a minute or that the food would arrive soon, but of course these things didn't happen. Another waitress who helped deliver our food was downright rude. Needless to say, I will not return. read more

Disrespectful staff....they should value customers more! Went here for a business meeting on the request of a colleague....don't ever do this! They were rude to us because we didn't order right away and asked us to leave! We were trying to support local businesses instead of "chains" but I won't make this mistake again. I stopped here this recent Friday for lunch. I've been here a few times for lunch before and the food is excellent, but the service is always subpar. My recent visit proved more of an annoyance for me with regard to the owner more than anything. When I arrived, I was motioned toward a table by the sole waitress behind the counter, who seemed friendly enough. I sat at the table for nearly 10 minutes before being approached by anyone. Mind you, there were only two other tables with actual customers, and the owner was sitting at another table close by apparently trying to further the business connections with another gentleman she was sitting with. I wasn't even approached by the waitress, but the cook who took my drink order and then returned for my food order, since the waitress was too busy standing around behind the counter. During my visit, the food was good, as usual. However, the waitress barely acknowledged the tables, nor did the owner acknowledge the customers who came and went. I can understand her trying to get her business more acknowledged, but while she sat there, a customer with children came in and stood by the counter for five minutes, unacknowledged, waiting for any greeting or service, while the waitress stood around the corner, and I witnessed the owner see them and watch them as they left and the customer, who I assume to be the father, mentioned they'd come back. When the customer did return with the children, they were yet again unacknowledged, while the owner continued to chat away too concerned and wrapped up in her personal conversation to acknowledge them. She noticed them come in, watched them stand at the counter, as she continued to speak to the gentleman she'd been having her ongoing conversation with, trying to get his contact information, while not bothering to acknowledge her customers or have someone else attend to them, since she was too important to do so. They, again, left, as the owner watched them leave. I was thinking to myself, 'what is wrong with this woman?'. Twenty minutes later, a young girl entered and politely asked if she could have a drink of water, at which the owner responded with, "we only have bottled water here", as I stared at the cup of water they had served me with my lunch. I get it, you're running a business, but the owner does not win kudos with me. She's tended to be rude and cold, even toward customers, with no concern to really acknowledge anyone she doesn't feel she has time for, unless of course they're there to market her business. She's got an airhead aura about her and during my visits has never put off anything more than her cold unwelcoming attitude, even when trying to be polite. It's as though she has to go out of her way to be nice to any one who comes into her establishment. read more

I wanted to like this place because it's right below my office above Brew Works so sometimes I like to grab a quick coffee or lunch during a busy day at work. However, I am always confused when I walk in. The coffee is self service, but the soup is not, even though it's in a space that looks like you could help yourself to it. There's no full menu up on the wall, so you'll be at the counter skimming through the menu yourself, while you feel uncomfortably in the way. I feel that the employees don't care as much about the customer as they do about their own personal leisure and lifestyle. There's never any rush to get me my food or coffee, even if that was the only thing I ordered and I got it to go. There is always just a drawn out conversation going on between the person working and someone else, and it really adds to your serving time. The chef fumbles in the back and makes casual conversation with some customers which I assume are regulars while he slowly throws together a cup of soup, which I'm not sure why it took 15 minutes, considering you just need to put it into a bowl. I feel stupid when I come in here, and I'm looked at as if i should know exactly how the place works. I'm always extremely uncomfortable and cramped there. There's no guidance as to how you are supposed to be served. Is it self service? Is it a grab & go? A sit down restaurant? A cafe? And as if the atmosphere wasn't lacking enough, the terribly cliche Christian music makes me wanna hurl. I just don't have a connection with the people who own this place, and think today was my last visit to Stations Cafe. Not to sound like an ungrateful brat, but I'll just walk down to Re-Wired if I really want a coffee that bad, I don't want to wait 15 minutes for a cup o' joe and a sandwich. read more

The food was good but the service was lacking. No one seemed to know what they were doing or how to do it. Each was always as the other for help which drastically slowed down service. I would go back on a slow day to try other menu items. Some advice for the owner or manager, please train your staff in all areas of the restaurant and not on a weekend!! read more

Staff is always slightly confused, ordering a scoop of ice cream can be a generous treat or a miserly mini-scoop, depending on who you get. I got really excited when I saw "vegan" all over the menu, but my veggie burger was bland and mushy and my bean salad was grossly sweet--the kind that often comes in a jar (I don't know if they make theirs). My son and I stopped here for lunch. The proprietor and server were super friendly and very accommodating. My son loved his sandwich. My sandwich on the other hand had less meat on it than a Subway sandwich. Which means, there were three super-thin slices of turkey on my turkey sandwich. There was also one piece of lettuce as my lettuce topping. The sandwich bread was delicious and the pumpkin bisque was fantastic though. The place was not crowded at lunch time yet it still took a very long time to get our food. This place has a lot of potential. I hope it improves. read more

I highly recommend Stations. The pretzels and the Caboo O's (powdered sugar dough wrapped Oreo cookies) are awesome. The flatbread sandwiches and the tuna salad are very good. My first experience here was very positive and I have returned several times since and refer my clients and friends. The woman working was very personable and educated me on what was in their food. I ask a lot of questions and she was very pleasant explaining everything to me. I love their pretzels, crab cake sandwich and turkey chili. My next pick will be one of their salads. Most of their food is good. However, was here with a friend who ordered a quesadilla - their "quesadillas" are not quesadillas. It's essentially pita cut into 4 with toppings on it. Flavorless and not the description. Regardless of that specific menu item the way they handled it is what was upsetting....my friend asked them if there was a way to swap it for soup because she didn't like it and it wasn't the description and their response was "well there are pictures on the menu" the photo on the menu was of a different menu item not this specific one and that's just not how you do business. I've never complained at a business or left a poor review because I understand the industry but what made it ridiculous is my friend asked to swap it with another menu item (literally just a cup of soup) and they charged her for both. When asked why it was still on the bill the server replied "well you ate a piece of the quesadilla." Yes, to try something and find it gross people normally need to take a bite of it. read more
