Excellent. Liver transplant - best experience of my life. Doctors were excellent, nurses were amazing.

I brought my daughter to this location seeking medical care. Sadly, the care she received was deeply disappointing. Dr. Jerisa Berry did not appear to take the situation seriously. The only symptoms documented were nausea and vomiting, and she prescribed anti-nausea medication without further evaluation. The nausea was related to something my child had ingested, which I prefer not to discuss publicly due to the personal nature of the matter. No bloodwork was ordered, and no thorough physical exam was performed. We were told nausea medication would be given, and that was the extent of the visit. Uncomfortable with the lack of assessment, we sought care at HCA Florida Largo West Hospital. The physician there was surprised that even basic bloodwork had not been ordered by the doctor at HCA Florida Gulf to Bay. At Largo West, they conducted the necessary testing, identified a serious issue, and admitted my child for further care. There was, in fact, a significant medical problem that had been missed by Dr. Jerisa Berry. I truly believe my child's condition was not properly evaluated during our initial visit at HCA Florida Gulf to Bay. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this HCA location. Mainly because of Dr. Berry's gross negligence. Her lack of a thorough evaluation and poor bedside manner were very concerning, and the outcome could have been far more serious had we not sought care at another hospital. read more

This is the smallest ER ever, practically empty parking lot at 1am, and took at least 30 minutes to even be seen. No medical personal at the front desk, only a security guard. If we had a true emergency, no would have known. Then their stupid check-in kiosk glitched out on us 3 times and we weren't even able to use it. Then the security guard gave us a piece of paper to fill out that was wrong. My husband finally gets taken back, and they don't discharge us for another 3 hours! To literally get an IV, 2 if push meds, and a "20 min" drip that actually took an hour. Everyone literally forgot my husband was there. He was shouting, knocking, calling, and had to get super loud to get anyone's attention for discharge 1 hour later. Absolutely unnecessary and insane read more

Unfortunately, been here a few times for multiple different injuries and every time it's super quick and easy and In-N-Out. I've never had any issues whatsoever. Matter of fact I'm going back there today because I have an eye injury i need resolved lol wish me well. read more

Service and treatment excellent at this facility. Staff super friendly but try to get medical record info like results from a test and you have to download an app. Had difficulty because I am a legal guardian for the patient. I could not get an account nor assistant from SUPPORT . I have been on hold for over 30 minutes. No one can help us get results or proper medications.....so very user friendly....not at all! Good experience in facility but it stopped once I walked out the door. read more

I'm so happy for HCA largo ER, IN CLEARWATER. I've been there for myself and friends and family. I highly recommend it. Never once have I felt uncomfortable being there. Almost never a wait As for employees, from the security guard, the nurses, x-ray techs, labs and of course the Drs. Are very caring, professional and explain things as they go. My last visit, I was transported to HCA LARGO WEST. THE DRIVERS OF THE AMBULANCE, were just as kind, caring as all the staff I experienced. At the HCA largo west, I was greeted with nurses. No sooner than the nurse finished there were Drs. Many Drs. I felt like I was in good hands. I had many test, at one point I had to be put to sleep. The and staff were very relaxed and friendly All and all, I highly recommend the HCA in Clearwater. read more

I've been running a fever for the last three days and it isn't going away. If that weren't enough, I'm having intense pain...Queen Bee finally got me to do something about it; so here I am. From the time I walked in until the time I was taken back was less than five minutes. HCA Florida Largo Hospital runs this freestanding ER, and I'm glad I chose this one! Kim was the friendly, efficient nurse...asked me a bunch of questions about symptoms and all. She narrowed it down in a few short minutes! Meantime they took all my insurance info, etc with a pleasant phone call. Then the physician's assistant and the doctor came in a lil while later. Long story short they ordered a sonogram for safety sake and wound up telling me it was just a bad infection after all was said and done. They gave me a shot of a very strong antibiotic and a script. Since the pharmacy closes at 5pm they got me outta there quick so I could get the script today. They also gave me a note to clear me from work the next two days. Since I've already had to take off the last three, Union rules say I need a note for any more than that. All that for a copay of just $150; isn't that wonderful? read more

(Edited) We arrived at the Gulf to Bay ER location Sunday morning, Feb. 2nd at about 3am after I woke to the most excruciating back pain I've ever felt in my almost 60 year life. I encountered 4 people while I was there. The security guard was helpful and the scan technician was courteous and understanding. The nurse was neither of those things. The Dr was adequate. read more

This is hands down the best ER/ Urgent Care I have ever been to. They are very responsive to your needs and make sure to check every possible symptom. I was there for less than an hour and left with meds and diagnosis. I highly recommend them. read more

Brought my partner here with a minor health problem and the nurse was so mean I was scared for him just being in the room. No one introduces themselves and just walks in and out of the room with ZERO kindness. He left with a HUGE welt on his arm where they put in the IV; I would go back for a true emergency but god are they MEAN. read more

THIS IS NOT AN URGENT CARE! If you Google "urgent care near me" and end up here, you will be billed as if you went to the hospital. My wife was in and out in 20 minutes for pink eye and received a bill for over $900. Stay away if you are looking for simple urgent care service. read more

I've never been in and out of somewhere so fast! I had a bit of an issue with some new medication and my doctor sent me to the ER. Everyone was so nice and friendly as I was so nervous! They did some blood work and everything was luckily fine I just found out I have a new allergy! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone they made what started as a really bad day a lot better! read more

I dropped in to get help for a pulled back sprain that totally incapacitated me. I was seen immediately by a friendly group of nurses. Had CAT done and got results in 30 min. Dr. P Steele was most helpful in providing directions toward relieving the pulled muscle. Diagnosis: Lumbosacral Strain. read more

I went here last night because I had second degree burns on my feet as well as torn ligaments in my knee. The staff was really kind and helpful, the doctor was super helpful and also kind. We got there at the right time because we only waited maybe ten minutes in the waiting room. It was a little weird though that a homeless man walked into the waiting room and told me(I'm in a wheelchair at the time because I couldn't walk due to my injuries) to move so he could use the phone that was in the waiting room. He called someone and then walked out and left. I thought that was odd. Yet I just moved here from California and haven't fully gotten used to things around here yet. But the machines they had to enter your information were easy and fast. The intake was fast and easy. I just thought it was odd that they didn't ask for insurance beforehand or ask about any medications I'm on or take a urine sample and give me a rist band but they did have some sticker with my information in the room. They also don't have MRI available like they usually did if needed at the hospitals in California. However, like I said, my first visit to a hospital since I moved here, so they might do things differently than in California. They were able to pull up my medical history even from California which was nice. Overall I was really happy with the visit, the staff were kind and helpful and the doctor was straight to the point and even made sure my pain was reduced a huge amount before I left. I would definitely go again if I needed to, but hopefully I won't need to anytime soon. read more

I took my 80 year old neighbor to this ER. I knew she was dehydrated and needed immediate care. This experience was not the same as before Covid. In fact, there wasn't a doctor in site. In contrast to the immediate care I received on two previous visits at this ER, my friend, while feeling very sick, was asked several questions by three different people, some of them the same information each time. The concern seemed mainly about getting the proper insurance and billing info. Once in a bed (took about 2 hours), she had blood drawn. As we waited, they gave her a CT scan for the abdomen and wanted to do a brain scan. My friend refused the brain scan and said she was feeling much better after the IV and wanted to go home. The nurse said they would like her to stay overnight for observation. We got out of there short of a brain scan and an overnight stay in the hospital. What could have ben a 500 visit turned into several thousand - we don't know how much yet. This visit was over 6 hours long, much of it waiting for treatment. I feel sorry for the nurses who must run such an operation. The receptionist, Margie, did everything she could - brought blankets and socks and even a pillow. read more

My GF and I went to the ER because of her migraine at 1 AM and everyone was super friendly and helpful. It was extremely clean and such a breeze to get her the help she needed. We walked in and we'd immediately helped and into a room. Registration was done online through the help of a video call. The doctor came in the room within 20 min and got her the medication she needed. It was such a nice experience. read more

This place is scary dirty and inefficient. We've unfortunately been to many ER's, literally all over the world. This was the worst I've seen. Never put a wrist band on my son. Never entered our insurance. Dried blood on the gurney. Dirty room. Bathroom had no tp, a non-working soap dispenser, filthy floors and reeked of dirty diapers. Nurses had to go from room to room to find paper towels because dispensers were empty. Had to hunt for a clean room (was NOT busy). Staff was friendly enough, but this place is worrisome. read more

Dr. Steele is amazing!!! He is very informative and thorough. I've been here twice and both times within 30 min I was seen by him , his nurse , the specialists , received X-rays, blood work and an EKG. Was able to be seen and discharged within two hours . If I had been seen at the hospital , it would have taken several hours. The facility is very clean and the staff is very friendly . Highly recommend. read more

I went to the ER last week for several different reasons but my blood pressure being high was one of them. After almost 2 hours, I was never checked on. I also told the 3 nurses that I already felt dizzy so please don't show or tell me anything about the IV/blood.. all 3 of them started to talk about how the male nurse found a good vein and jokingly asked me to hold one of the blood tubes. Seriously?! I will never return and I will definitely never recommend Clearwater ER. read more

I was there last night. Great care and attention. The attending physician and his staff took their time to explain everything and get me the care I needed. When cold, he provided warmed blankets for me and my daughter who was waiting with me. Probably the best ER experience I've evhad. Not that I enjoy being in an ER! Got 8 stiches and a wound bandaged. Great insurance. $1100 later is what i owe. $4079 was billed to insurace for stiches from a doc who didnt even do the work. Ct scan $9000 to the insurance. Wtf. Staff is friendly while your getting robbed. read more

I live in a small town in Springfield, Vermont, there is only one hospital there and not much to do. The people in Springfield are so slow and not very energy or urgency. This visit was amazing the staff were all friendly and helpful. They made sure I was comfortable and had what I needed to be comfortable. They gave me my diagnosis in a quick time, and had me out of there so I didn't waste time sitting in there all day. Over all the experience was very good and I would definitely go there again! read more

You can see another doctor but you probably can't be billed more for a 10 minute appointment. These people billed a total of $1700.00 for a doctors apt for a cold. If I were you - I would find somewhere else like Urgent care where the care is good and the bill much more reasonable. Just saying you can get the same care for a lot less. read more
