I did have a concern almost immediately after the roof was done. A team worker came out to take a look at the back of the roof that I specified, but I only know that by seeing his footage on my outdoor security cameras. He never rang my bell or followed up with me after his visit. Had he done that, maybe I would not have a concern now. I have had to escalate this to GAF to get them to come out and take a look and actually speak to me about what my problem is. I really don't want a problem with a leak to a brand new roof. If you call and ask them to get back to you, after the fact (it's only been a couple of months) that should not warrant the cold shoulder and non response to calls. I will update this the minute I understand how this company with a lot of day laborers "Stand Behind Their Work!"

The insurance company has not been a problem. They have approved everything asked for. You are a contractor. I asked for an estimate for contractor services, not advice on how to best manage an insurance claim. By requiring potential customers to deal with one of your adjusters in order to even get an estimate, let alone services, you are actually putting yourself and the adjuster you require to be used in the middle of insurance negotiations. I've heard that some companies do that sort of thing to drive up the price charged to the insurance company which can often result in delays in claims processing. I'm sure that's not what was going on here, but I also didn't want to find out. Since it was clear there was no agreement with your company to be had it was time for your employees to leave. I'm sorry I wasn't able to invite them in for a cup coffee but I had several work matters to complete that day. Thanks again for responding. Take care!

Scott & Jeff were able to provide advise & suggestions on where to place lights,(both recessed, pendant & under cabinet) the saddles between rooms and the daily assurance that things were right on schedule. Carlos & Elvis were the team that put the kitchen together from the tear down(floors, soffit, walls & ceiling) to the wallboard, taping, cabinet and crown molding installation. At the end of each day, a thorough clean up took place and the plastic dust covers that had been disturbed were repositioned for the work to be done the following day. Will only consider Troost for our next project!

To begin with the salesman was maybe the friendliest person I have ever met in addition to being very knowledgeable. He had none of the tricks I see too often such as we just happen to have the door you want from a cancellation. He just had all the facts. Then they sent someone to measure, once again, this was the most detailed measurement I have ever seen, including removing the moldings. There was an issue with my alarm system which they were able to handle easily. Finally, the installation of these premium quality doors went flawlessly. The doors arrived beautifully painted. I got the feeling that each of these people valued me as a customer. In the end the price didn't seem high at all. I would highly recommend this company.

I specifically showed Daniel, the salesman, the rotted wood spots and told him I didn't want the windows installed on rotted wood because then it will create a side panel issue as well. He said it will be taken care of but it absolutely was not. The guys who came in said it wasn't in the contract so just installed brand new windows on rotted wood which is a waste of the project because the windows will end up being warped. My door needs two hands and brute force to be opened. I cannot understand how this was a "professional" installation.
