This is not normal wear and tear -- it is clearly a defect caused by cheap materials and poor workmanship. I contacted Rosa immediately, multiple times, asking for help and a solution. I was completely ignored. No support, no inspection, no replacement, no accountability. Customer service was non-existent. Today, 2 out of the 4 doors are completely destroyed, despite being used in a normal indoor environment. Doors should last decades, not fail after a few weeks. This company sells low-quality products and then disappears when problems arise. Very unprofessional, very disappointing, and a waste of money. I strongly advise against buying anything from them.

I didn't hear from them for 6 weeks. I then called and was told they were backed up and they would get it to me the next day. They didn't. I called again and got it a week later. The estimate was completely wrong. For one thing, it was for French doors instead of a single door. I don't understand how they could get that so wrong when an appraiser came out in person. I wrote back to tell them what was incorrect and to politely express disappointment. I received no reply at all. I'm done with them.

I received quotes from several different companies, but I chose Window & Door Pro, in spite of the fact that they were not the lowest priced option for several reasons. After meeting with their President, Chris Amplo, I was convinced that if any problem arose (eg. wood rot under existing windows, unexpected wiring and plumbing in a window frame, etc.), they were going to get this done is a professional, high-quality manner and that I would not receive a change order. I also chose Window & Door Pro because they sell and install windows from a wide variety of manufacturers, and I wanted to make the right choice for my needs rather than accept the windows that the other companies were selling. Chris convinced me that Marvin windows, while more money, was the best quality, given the size of the eight windows. Lastly, my building is particularly sensitive to how contractors behave in our building in terms of noise, debris and other inconveniences. Chris told me that he didn't use subcontractors, and his people understood how buildings like mine operate. I contracted Windows & Door Pro for the windows which included all of the filings with Landmark Preservation as well as ordering permits from the New York City Department of Buildings. During the installation process they found enough bad surprises (lots of wood rot) that extended the installation time from seven business days to three weeks. They implemented those additional repairs without handing me a change order. The quality of the work was amazing. The companies project manager, Chris Tomasino communicated with both my building manager and me prior to and during the installation. Michael Bonade, the lead installer protected the floors, furniture and art and gave me daily updates on the progress. Last and not least, I received calls from neighbors complimenting this vendor. So....winter is coming and my wife and I have new Marvin windows that no longer leak, that open and close easily, and I have no battle scars from the installation. Thank you Windows & Door Pro.

The doors to the balcony had started to rot due to poor calking. The damage was more extensive than I thought. John and his team were great. They recommended composite doors as well as installed a stainless steel sill underneath that would prevent the type of damage I experienced from happening again. The windows went in and are fully insulated and caulked. Very happy with the experience. The team came on time, worked all day, cleaned up, and was exceptionally professional and polite.
